The shower had mold in it and the room has a stale odor in the room. Breakfast was good although when something ran out it took awhile for them to bring out more. The pool also looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile.
Picked this place to spend some quality family time. Brought our 2 toddler boys and our 5 month old pup and this place didn’t disappoint. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. We are already planning a second trip in a couple months!
Plumpjack has a unique ability to blend business within a breathtaking natural backdrop. The staff were great and amenities were accommodating. I have been attending meetings here off and on for over 10 years and it never disappoints.
This was an amazing place for my husband and I to stay over the weekend! Very clean and the perfect location. It's right across from the gondola and the village where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Lots of fun outdoor entertainment, corn hole, ping pong, large outdoor hammock and 2 hot tubs! We thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
A great location, especially for skiing, nice rooms and very nice staff. The pool is very nice and the breakfeast was very good. I think a stay here during ski season would be perfect the lift is at your feet.
This was the front desks (Katelyn) response to my question as to why I am being charged a higher nightly rate than a rate I saw on the internet 1 hour before I checked in. She said ‘SO WHAT!! TOO BAD’!! I’m a repeat visit to the property because of the location, quality and they take my dog. And my family used to have a home in Squaw when I was a child. I am an easy going guy who really hates to complain because I know have hard it can be in the service industry. But really? The clerk telling me TOO BAD? I was so furious I had stomach aches.🤢 I prepaid my RSVP so we couldn’t change. My wife could not get the ceiling fan to work like other guests - so we had to ask Kaitlyn for help 🙁 she helped us alright, but then proceed to tell my wife how crappy the property is and how nothing works!! Nice! I am a “Platinum” member at. The Ritz Carlton group of hotels. I guess I will be staying at North Star from now on..
Couldn't get ceiling fan in room to work consistently. Food in bar/restaurant was over priced for quality and serving size. Service was good and friendly. Pillows in guest room were uncomfortable--need regular pillows in addition to down pillows
Fabulous, convenient place to stay. Ask for a room on the backside of the property, the street can be quite noisy. Great cocktails....included breakfast was excellent. We loved it that we could take our dog with us.
Our 4th visit over the past 6 yrs (usually for 2 weeks at a time) indicates our likeness and satisfaction of the Inn. This is not a hotel, however down to earth place to visit with a great staff, location and facilities. Highly recommended to those who are not looking for the standard hotel experience but something exceptional with a twist of home.
Paradise. We always return! Service, surroundings, and fresh air! Great food, pool, hot tub, breakfast in the bar in the morning, I could go on an on. Village is right across the street. Lots to do for families.
