First off, don't let the condition of the office/lobby fool you... it needs a paint job and was generally lackluster. PROS: The room we had was VERY comfortable and clean.. Wifi worked great, PLENTY of hot water with good water pressure. TV was flat screen and plenty of channels. Did not use heater but air conditioner worked fine. Room came with coffeemaker , microwave and fridge. CONS: SPA was basically really hot water...could not get any type of jet to work with bubbles. Room was made up next day but coffee was not replenished. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. I found it surprisingly a great value and convenient as it is located about in between the lake and casinos.

Worst hotel experience of my life. Although initially the staff was helpful in addressing the issue of a wet carpet outside the bathroom door, the baseboard heat did not operate during the night, so no one slept well; the shower stall did not prevent water from flooding the floor; and the refrigerator froze all our food. In response to our complaints, the person who turned out to be the owner refused to compensate us for the problems, lied to us that the manager was not available to speak to us (there was no manager, just her), became belligerent when I asked her and her maintenance people to wait to inspect the room until we were dressed and out of the bathroom. She began yelling and falsely accused me of grabbing her and getting physical, shouting she couldn't deal with me and to shut up. AVOID COMING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PLACE. Rest of the staff was pleasant and wanted to be more helpful, but had to defer to the owner.

Check in was nice. Bike rentals were nice to have. Room wasn't ready. Don't think there was enough cleaning staff on hand. Waited for room while they cleaned. Otherwise it served its purpose.

The hotel staff were very friendly. Quiet place to stay. Within walking distance of the Casinos.

COCKROACHES, dirty ,outdated, uncomfortable beds when I confronted staff about these issues they said I don't think so and were very rude. I'll go with Harrah's next time.

Location is close to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were great for the price also.

A little bit older hotel but we really liked it. Bears scattered trash all over during the night.

The room assigned to us was not cleaned properly. The staff is not at all easy to deal with. The front desk rep was very rude and unfriendly. There are other hotels at lower cost which I felt are better than this.

Equipped with a hot tub sauna small pool and free breakfast, this place is the best bang for your buck. i paid 45 and 40 dollars for the two nights i was there. cheap bike rentals on location, ice machines, and car cleaning devices, throw in private beach access a stones throw away its the perfect deal for those on a budget.

The hotel is in South Lake Tahoe. They do not have lake view rooms but is not far away from the beach. They will give you free access to the beach but we think that the beach is free. Rooms are clean and we have quick breakfast in the lobby.

This is a nice hotel for the price. The hotel looks old, because it is. You are only a few blocks from the beach, and you get a free breakfast every morning. They have free wifi when it works. The TV kept reseting itself, so there was no sound/picture for 10 seconds every 10 minutes, but that's not why I came to Lake Tahoe. The doors stick and are hard to close, so make sure you pull hard. I only say this because housekeeping left my room open all day.

Location is great. But other things were below our expectation. May be because we wanted to stay at cheapest room. Just ok for short stays. It has free car clean area which was good especially for Tahoe.

Hotel was small cramped no view. But location was walking distance to shopping food and the lake. Very close to the BIG casinos so walking to the casinos would have been possible. It was last minute and inexpensive. The room was cleaned well except a/c vents had a lot of dust. It's an older hotel. Dated. Breakfast was not good. Long waits to toast a bagel. Grab and go breakfast. Probably stay somewhere else next time but it was ok.

Great place to stay, the staff was very friendly and accomodating! The location is good, a short wslk to the private beach, heavenly gonola snd shoping area and the casino! Great place to stay!

Overall the experience was good. The location is great, close to the lake. The mattress was from about 1950, the furnishings from the 1970s, the bath/shower, probably redone in the 1980s. They are fully booked most of the time so they don't have to try too hard on the amenities, but for the price in the area, I can't complain. The staffs was fantastic though, so overall a pretty good budget experience. If you are looking for budget, it is a good bet. Looking for the spa experience, keep looking.

Terrific value for the money. Used all amenities and had a great time. Staff was great. Would definately return.

Friendly staff. Tidy room. Decent breakfast. In close proximity to hotels and Heavenly village.

the room was generally comfortable and clean. A lot of the furniture was kind of old but they were working on remodeling.some of the nice bonuses were Restaurant coupons, directions, a spot to clean and vacuum the inside of your car. Breakfast was less than adequate. Staff Hospitability varied, the night staff was friendly, but the morning staff was distant. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

We stayed at this hotel the night of the rehearsal dinner. The room was really clean and the staff are very nice. I love that our room had a balcony looking out over the pool. It is an older place, so they have real keys to get in the room. There are a few things that could be replaced to really make this place nice but overall I'm very pleased with this hotel.

Dukey in the bowl and used towels in the bathroom upon arrival. Sundries not replenished daily (cups, soap, shampoo, coffee). Room OK, bathroom OK. Customer service good, housekeeping not so much. Great location but lots of competition in the area. Will go somewhere else next time.
