It was conveniently located and they accepted pets. The staff was friendly and willing to accommodate. Over use of bleach. Looked clean, but there were roaches. Peeling paint hanging from the ceiling. Needed some TLC

Horrible service

The ladies working at night were super sweet but with that being said our room was so dirty anf smelled like mold and dorty feet. I went and mentioned it and they gave us an air freshener which didnt help at all. They didnt have any rooms available and of course no one would give us a refund. We paid for the weekend and made it until sat morning and just left and went back home because we just couldnt stand the smell anymore. Lets just say tbis is not your typical la Quinta inn.

Internet did not reach the room. Had to switch between three rooms before getting a signal. Staff tried to rent my room while I was still in it. (Didn’t remember putting me in it) They tried to enter while I was in there. Breakfast was lacking milk for coffee or cereal.

The personal was really nice,except the room they need to change the carpet is stunk really bad

The bed was good and the location was good too, but the property needs a big facelift.

Great customer service. Was very friendly with my dog and me. The property it’s self needs some updates but for the prize it’s not terrible

I have stayed at other LaQuinta hotels with very favorable results. This was very disapointing because the faciolity was old and tired. Thank God the beds were good and the A/C worked great, so all was not lost. But we will not be staying there again. It was good for nearby oil refinery workers, many of whom did stay there.

Hair in pillows and sheets, cockroaches, very dirty and old.

Our stay was horrible. The fridge had melted milky substance in the bottom. The carpeting was dingy, outside was needs painting, the railing is rusting, the room was dusty and the bath tub was dirty. The telephone in the room was broken.

Nasty motel, roaches bed bugs so we got refund!!! Food under bed 2 liter coke bottle under bed, don’t waste your money and time DO NOT STAY!! Stayed overnight & wake up to roaches and bed bugs and everything else you could imagine!!! Was there for work!! They did give a refund!! Maintenance guy was nice but really don’t have a good attitude as far as working there!!

Had a great time there, the room was clean and cool. The staff was really friendly. The only complaint that we have is that the continental breakfast was not set up conducive to a quick get through of the line. It was like a big traffic jam. The breakfast selection was great just need to rearrange the set up. Took 30 minutes almost to get to the food because people were coming from both sides. But great hotel and staff. Would stay again.

Stair wells smelled of urine and exterior much in need of repairs and updating.

Decent for over night stay to be close to the beach. Our "Non smoking" room resulted in us buying baking soda across the street to try to remedy the stench of smoke in our room. Few small bugs. You didn't want to move any table or chair in the room for fear of what you'd find underneath. But shower was hot and room was fairly quiet based on the number of guests.

We've stayed in the hotel before and enjoyed it very much. This trip was significantly different. Day one we went swimming and I stepped on what I thought was a pool skimmer but it turned out to be a pool light that had fallen into the water. Not knowing if the electric line was energized everyone got out of the pool and the staff was notified. No reaction from the staff until hours later and several visits to the front desk. The pool was closed the next day and fixed on day 3. Meanwhile the housekeeping staff made their rounds cleaning the vacant rooms only. Odd they took the dirty towels but did not replace them or provide any coffee, take the trash, clean the floor or make the beds. I notified the assistant manager, he made some "notes" on the computer assuring me the housekeeping crew would come by but nothing happened. I was told any personal item on a bed and housekeeping will not clean the room. On day two I put the empty suitcase in the closet and made sure nothing was on the beds, again no room service. I went to the front desk (phone doesn't work in room) and told the front desk i needed towels, coffee and the floor swept. I was given a bag of coffee packets and a hand full of towels. The young lady at the desk came and vacuumed because housekeeping was gone. Day five and still no housekeeping ever serviced the room. This hotel is on a downhill slide to closing. The service is nonexistent and the lack of care provided to the customers will ensure we never stay.

The only thing good I can say about this hotel is that the staff were cordial and let me check in early. The room had baseboard missing, I gigantic and horrifically repaired ceiling above the shower, rusty knobs, sticky floor, clean but stained sheets, windows that maybe have never been cleaned, lid was gone from coffee maker and debris was in the water container... It was just bad.

I killed two bugs within 10 minutes of being in the room. I had my suspicions about the first bug crawling up the foot of the bed but the second one scurrying up the wall behind the tv looked like a cockroach. The pool and its surroundings were dirty. There was also broken glass. I went to the front desk to cancel my reservation and we left as fast as we could.
