There was almost no parking. The tiny parking lot was filled with enormous pick up trucks with extra wide back ends, taking up extra space. Lots of contractors from the oil refineries. Not the safest "feel" for a woman traveling alone, arriving exhausted at 11 PM. The hotel did not have my reservation and claimed they were not yet working with the reservation company that I'm writing this review for. I had even sent a message saying I would arrive late, so I figured everything was in order. I gave them my confirmation number and they had no idea where I got that number. They gave me a room anyway (one of two left in the hotel). Originally gave me a king room, then changed it to two doubles before I left the front desk because they said guests had complained about a smell, and this one would be better. The place was scary, and creepy. The bathroom floor had pieces of toilet paper on it, and lots of hair...as did the bathtub, the sink, and wrapped in the hair dryer cord. Lots of "built up dirt" in the corners. The toilet would not flush. They front desk brought me a plunger. The hotel info said every room had an in-room safe, a microwave and mini-fridge....nope! Not mine. None of the above. The alarm clock was unplugged. I plugged it in, but the buttons wouldn't allow the time OR the alarm to be set, so I unplugged it again. Nice lady at the front desk. Apologized for everything, but just a yucky place. On hold for over an hour with the organization I made the reservations with (and for whom I'm writing this review) to get a new reservation, and finally was given a refund, so I went to another hotel a few hundred yards away. Only $7 a night more, and a PALACE, especially compared to this one. Like I said in the title, RUN FAST, RUN FAR.

The hotel had a decent location. The beds were clean but the rest of the room was cleaned at. Many of the guest at this hotel made me wonder if it was a mistake to leave my sidearm at home!! The a/c kept the room barely cool enough to relax. The girl how checked us in was nice enough but the guy on duty when we checked couldn't be bother to remove his butt from chair he was sitting on. Overall it was the 2nd worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The hotel had a great staff and location. The price was fantastic considering the location and all the events going on at the tiime we stayed. Overall Great experience, price and vallue, thanks.

The room had a Strong Moldy smell! The ice machine did not work! Got locked out of my room the first night had to wait about 45 minutes while someone opened the door and tried to fix the lock before I was moved to another room! The coffee at the breakfast area was cold and tasted terrible might have been leftover from the day before! Nobody came to clean the room! All around an unpleasant stay! Tried to cancel my reservation but made it through [...]and was told I could not get my money back so was forced to stay to nights!

It was a nice hotel. Its obvious that the hotel was old and had a make-over. The people that worked there were so nice. The AC unit was small and it took a while for the room to get cooled off.

Rooms very small, needed updating, small pool, very uncomfortable beds. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

THE ROOM WAS NOT VERY CLEAN, CARPET OLD AND WORN, DID NOT HAVE OVERALL APPEARANCE OF A NICE HOTEL

A very quiet place, yet in a great location.

When I arrived at my room i noticed that the top sheet on the bed had a blood stain on it. I requested that the sheet be changed and the night clerk said he would leave a note for house keeping to take care of it. To my dissapointment the task was not done. The day shift clerk just said she was sorry about that. I may not stay at this hotel again.

The room wasn't very clean. Worst of all was the mold in the tub. I wouldn't have stayed there for even half-price had I been able to see the room BEFORE booking & paying for it.
