We took our 3 year old grand daughter to the Six Flags Resort Lodge on August 18-20, 2017.We arrived at 4:20 pm and our room was not ready til 5:37 pm.Got to our room, the hydrolic door closer attached to the top of the entrance door was broken and just hanging. You had to slam the door hard to secure it.When was the last time a code enforcement officer walked through this establishment?A drawer from the dresser inside was missing and the floor looked like it was not cleaned. We ate at the restaurant next to the check-in area which was filthy all together. Your feet stuck to the floor and the tables were sticky as well. Not clean! Our grand daughter was able utilize the indoor water park the first night; however, it was drained and not accessible the second night which the lifeguard said sorry for the inconvenience. The is not acceptable as the reason for staying there was the indoor water park and she was too small to utilize the other areas.Early Saturday morning (5:00 am) the fire alarm went off which led to evacuating the building which I was informed by other guests that this happens frequently. WOW!!! This hotel is a real disappointment and very over rated. For what you charge a night one would think that you would make sure the main attraction (water park) is fully operational. My husband and I work 7 days a week and planned this stay for 2 days to spend quality time with our grand daughter and we didn't even come close to getting our money's worth.

Hotel was good for quick family trip - 4 adults/4 kids ages 11-17. Hotel could use some refurbishment. But it was cute and the kids had fun. Are at Johnny Rockets - food was ok, service was ok a tad slow. Also did breakfast buffet at Timber. Server was sweet, but it could have used better monitoring to keep items filled and picked up.

Fun experience, book early ,staff were friendly, indoor park ,free parking to the park,,a bear dance at 4pm to 430p to welcome the new guests I had fun

Great experience for the family with access to the parks

It was our first time stay, and I don't have any regrets. Very nice and convenient to indoor water park.

Or kids loved the hotel and the water park. We went on Easter break and the staff was lovely, but overall they seemed overwhelmed by the numbers/crowd. We waited on line for 30 minutes for lunch at the snack bar and the time AFTER check out and BEFORE check in was terribly crowded at the pool/park. Unfortunately our pull out couch had a huge red stain on the underside of the mattress which explains the "disappointing" rating for room cleanliness. We would definitely go again, just not on school break as they did not prepare/staff accordingly.

A little family getaway, we had a great time at the waterpark

There's lots to do for all ages. The water park area is clean and feels safe with many life guards around at all times. The room was average, with a dirty shower, but I didn't plan to shower there anyway! The complimentary breakfast is delicious and plentiful. We are a local family who comes here once a year to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday and we will continue to do so. The food in the water park is only average.

This was our first time at the Great Escape Lodge and overall, I was a little disappointed. Check in was easy and the staff very friendly, however, they really didn't explain the facilities to us (there were little tv monitors all around and we weren't really sure how to use them). The room was not so great. There were stains on the carpet, the toilet did not flush right and the beds and pillows were horrible. The kids did enjoy the water-park their ages are 13, 9, 8 and 7 years old. They also liked the Arcade room. We went to Dinner at Johnny Rockets (food not so great, staff very friendly) and in the morning they had a very nice continental breakfast available to everyone.

Hotel was ok. Could use an upgrade. Rooms were sufficient but bathroom wasn't clean.the kids had a blast. Good for a weekend getaway.

We booked last minute and were treated no differently. Every employee was super friendly and let us check in an hour early cause we had no where else to go! Access to all 3 parks was included in the room price.

Very enjoyable stay. Kids loved it. We'll go back again!

Ok. Nothing special......................................................................................................................

Great experience, great location, room was a little dated and room cleaning staff was mediocre at best.

Second year here. Fantastic for a family vacation!

our stay was great. the staff are awesome. ITS nice to have the indoor water park for rainy days. it rained one day during our stay and we still had the indoor water park to have fun all day in.

We love the Great Escape. We always have a blast at the indoor water park and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Very family oriented. We try to go back every year.

Great weekend family getaway, we really enjoyed the water park, especially the Lil ones! The next day we went to Great Escape, which was located across the street from the hotel.

Overall our stay was fine. We have stayed here three times. Although, I think that the room is a bit over priced. Aside from the waterpark , it's nice to visit Lake George and all the shopping at the outlets.

Great winter place to swim with the kids!! Local food is much better. Harvest restaurant for pizza is worth the drive for take out !!!!!
