We love the location and the lake view we had. Very welcoming staff, always there to help. Room had everything we needed, very comfortable. Loved coming in from sightseeing and finding fresh juice and drinks at reception I don't think the staff could have been more friendly or helpful

This was a delight as we could walk to the shops and to the attractions. The gardens strechted along the shoreline and presented asafe aerea for leisurely strolls with seats placed at intervals to allow rest and appreciation.

Our family Stayed here in two rooms for one night. Location on the lake was pleasant but couldn't overcome the terrible, indifferent restaurant service. The showers in both rooms were awful and the temperature was not able to be regulated - the temp changed within seconds from scalding to freezing. Very unpleasant. For the price you should stay at any other hotel in the area. I would never go here again. Worst night of our week long trip to Switzerland.

Great location, on the lakeshore, Short walk from the train station. For people with luggage you need to walk about 20 metres and take an elevator to the hotel street level, others can use the stairs. Buses take you to nearby places of interest. Stops near the hotel. The boat quay is close as well. Nicely appointed lake facing room with all basic amenities. Very helpful staff. Spent three wonderful days

Stayed here for a night for an event I had to attend. Montreux hotels are quite pricey to be honest. This one was ok when it comes to value. It's an old hotel and their elevators are painfully small and slow. But it's a good pick if you're only here for a night or two. Good point is that all their rooms have lake views, either facing East or West. I believe 99% of them have a balcony as well. Room are good size, clean. Bathroom a bit small and felt old. Despite being on a high floor; i could still kind of hear some music coming from the street (there's a dance club nearby as well). But I would still recommend it.

Brief : the photos on the hotel website dont do justice to the views one gets in real. From the check in time to the check out, everything was smooth and the staff was very helpful and polite, Romain in particular really helped us with his local knowledge on place to see around. Stay : The overall hotel experience was wonderful, with spacious rooms and beautiful views of the lake from the balcony( slightly small) and the mountains with the sunset and moonrise thrown in, one definitely gets a good vacation feel. Food : the food was ok since we were vegetarians, didnt have too many options for us. Location : Its also very close to the train station ( it does have a long staircase down to reach there though, wouldn't recommend if carrying lot of luggage) I would highly recommend for a stay at this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the city along the promenade pathway. The room was very decent , nice decorated and clean, also with a balcony and a nice lake view. We also tasted delicious cuisine in Safran hotel restaurant. Very fine staff and excellent service at the reception. Liked my signature parking lot reservation :). Missed the pool. We will be back, there is still a lot to see. Thank you all.

Been staying in this Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. Overall impression of this Hotel was good. Hotel with good service and food at Safran was amazing. Too bad no chance to meet the general manager to catch up and let him know of his Hotel review. I have suggestion for him. It is always good to have a trolley/lift to push up the guest luggage from the front lobby. Besides, would recommend to offer some concession to allure Hotel guests to dine in the Hotel. If I would not have dine with friends, I do not know the restaurant food was great. Instead of dining at Jazz Cafe Montreux Palace. We have decided to try this place after our graduation. The room view was amazing. The Hotel charge for the 3rd adult at $70 per night. Would be nice if this could be offset or accorded different deal with breakfast or lunch. No other options offered during the reservation. Overall good 4 stars Hotel without pool, you have other facilities to enjoy. Bicycle rental is free. Can be better if pay more attention to details. This Hotel can be rated as 5 star. Would not write further, I would still rate the Hotel staffs performance great as they always serve with smile, passionate and ready to help.

The view of the lake and the mountains from our tiny balcony was just great. That went someway to make up for the shortcomings of our dated, tired room. However, bearing in mind this was far from a budget-priced hotel (in fact quite expensive), the accommodation was surprisingly poor. The bathroom was extremely poor and the shower was from the seventies. The very cheapest, old fashioned fittings and shower head together with plastic curtain. The toilet seat was loose and the bidet had been disconnected. Two pipes stuffed up with tissues stuck out from the tiled wall. When I mentioned it to the guy on reception he either didn't understand what I was on about or he chose to ignore it. I guess we could have requested to move rooms, which is the usual option in these type of hotels but the thought of transporting all our things in those antiquated lifts, made us settle for what we'd got. We expected a much better standard of accommodation for the money.

Location excellent --- just take the escalators and you reach the main station.( 3-4 minutes) While coming down from the station there is no lift or escalator but you can walk down hill from the other side (6-7 minutes) Breakfast excellent Room size and view very good! Staff very good and nice The only downside is that the rooms are a bit dated that is why I have given 4 stars
