Clean and roomy rooms, nice breakfast buffet, and friendly staff. The parking can be a bit of a hazzle, but we managed to find a place for the car every afternoon upon our return from tours around the lake. We did not get the family room with a balcony as we had booked, byt the view from our adjacent rooms was amazing, and frankly, we did not miss the balcony, as we were there in windy weather. We stayed for 4 nights, and the hotel's location close to Torbole and its charming streets and nice restaurants is second to none! We will definitely come back, if we are to visit the area again.
We stayed here one night and had a room with a view of the lake. The view was lovely and we found the front desk staff to be very nice. But honestly, the hotel was very dirty. When we arrived we were told our room would be ready in 30 minutes, but after 1.5 hours it was still not ready. One we were finally able to check into our room, I was immediately uneasy. The room was so dirty, I am to sure what they were doing in the 2+ hours it took to clean the room. Dust everywhere, on every surface (a lot of dust...it looked like it had been there for awhile). The windows are grimy and looked like they had not been cleaned in months and the floor was clearly not vacuumed- there were sprinkles from cakes all over the floor. It was quite gross actually. We asked to have the room cleaned again and when we returned, it was clean, as it should have been when we first arrived. So, I thought maybe it was a fluke. But, the next morning at breakfast, the dining room seemed dirty too- Stains on the table settings (like dried up yogurt), crumbs on every table and chair. It put me off wanting to eat. The shower had mold in all the corners, so I didn't even both taking a shower and the walls looked like they hadn't seen a fresh cost of pain in ages. Plus, the windows are very thin so you can hear everything, even the dusk quacking on the lake across the street. It just seems as though there is little attention to detail with regards to cleaning and that is not a good thing in regards to a hotel. I would not choose to stay here again.
Wonderful experience. The hotel is a five minute walk from town and restaurants and had free parking, which was a plus. Staff were nice, the room was much nicer than anticipated (especially the bathroom/ shower) and had no issues with noise/ hearing other guests. We also appreciated starting out the day with a complimentary breakfast. We had a great time and would stay here again.
The Torbole is situated just on the edge of Riva del Garda, with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains from rooftop terrace. A very romantic way to share a bottle of the local wine with a that someone special. With convenient storage for bicycles and gear and quick access to the lakeshore; we will definitely visit again.
We stayed in the hotel last year, so we did not look around when we planned this year vacation. We loved our stay although the room was smaller (it still had the kitchenette). Two observation: there was not as much food selection offered for breakfast as last year, the other thing: last year we had complimentary tooth brushes (nice gesture) . I am not sure whether or not this is a coincidence Stefan (the manager) has left the hotel...
Clean and spacious rooms, comfy bed with additional blankets if needed, bathroom also very clean with soap, shampoo and body lotion. Only the shower is badly designed, when showering, the water runs out and floods the floor. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything, they even took our keys to park the car when a spot becomes availabe. Parking lots belong to the hotel. ... One little annoying point is the noise. You can hear a lot from your neighbor's room, and during 2 of our 4 nights, they were washing the laundry throughout the whole night directly above us - however, as it is rather a hotel for the active kind of people, it didn't keep us from sleeping well. I would not recommend the hotel for people who want to spend a week at the beach - the beach is nice, but also small. ... We rented city bikes for free, for a little money you can also rent e-bikes. ... A special thing to mention is the delicious breakfast. It is designed as a buffet and offers everything, including ham&eggs, pancakes, different cereals with extra dried fruit, seeds and so on. You can also choose from a wide variety of bread types and sweet bakeries. ... All in all, I would definitely recommend the hotel. The location is perfect for hiking, diving, surfing/water sports and mountainbiking. You can reach Torbole with its many restaurants in a 5-minute-walk.
We stayed for two nights. I can only assume that we were given an old, non-renovated room. The room had an old gray smelly carpet with a lot of stains. Beds had an old mattress. The bathroom was tiny and had decoration from the 70s. The kitchen corresponded to the pictures but was not particularly clean - stains all over. On the good side: the breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel is also good (front rooms have a beautiful sea view) apart, of course, from the noise of the street. The hotel is next to a busy rood and since the windows were also old, we had constant traffic noise in our room
Stayed here for two Nights and just wish we could have been here longer! We had a BIG, nice room With a BIG outdoor-area and an amazing view!! The hotel had free parking, and we felt safe about the car when we could park it behind the hotel. It was a 5-10 minutes walk to the restaurants and shops, but it was very nice to walk along the lake. Just across the street there was a small harbour and it was nice to sit there in the sun and og for a swim. Loved the breakfast, and loved everything about this Place, I really want to go back for a longer stay!!!
Terrific location. Great rooms - clean and comfortable. Fantastic views. Warm, friendly, and helpful staff. Breakfast is very nice. We could easily walk to downtown Torbole and also take short drives to other nearby beautiful towns and areas. Superb cuisine at great value. Definitely hope to return again soon!
Just returned after 5 nights at this hotel and would definately return. Check in was efficient and friendly. Our room was on the first floor with an amazing view over the lake. Room was very clean and clean towels everyday. Beds were comfortable and room had air on which we needed as it was very hot last week. Buffet style breakfast offered everything you could want and all fresh plenty of everything too. Staff were all very friendly, Italian and German are main languages spoken as this area is very popular with Germans, Austrians and Dutch so little English but we didn't mind and found our fellow guests friendly. There is a rear garden with sun loungers which is a steep climb but amazing views so worth a wander up there. Torbole town is about a 10min strole along the lake where there are lots of bars and resaurants
