I stayed here with my partner whilst we had an adventurous trip in Torbole - I couldn't be happier that we chose this hotel! Firstly, Paolo was very helpful from months before the trip, we asked for help with directions and he was very willing to help and his English made communication easy. He was very welcoming at check in and helped us with all of our enquiries. He's seems to be a great asset to the reception team! All of the other staff that dealt with us was also really helpful, all could speak a good amount of English. The housekeeping staff were very good, our room was cleaned daily, mostly whilst we were down having breakfast. They were very speedy and ticked all the boxes that you'd expect, they were also extremely friendly. The breakfast was lush! Lot's to chose from, whether you like hot food, pasty, bread, cakes, meat, cheese - they had it all. Everything tasted fresh, especially the bread. I would recommend trying as much cake as you can, they're all winners. The staff were again very friendly, they could also speak an amount of English. The room was very refreshing, clean and homely. We had an amazing view despite only having a standard room, the windows span across the wall giving you a great view of the whole lake. The windows open fully which I can imagine is great for the summer. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had all the essentials you'd need and more. The shower was a walk in waterfall shower which was refreshing and worked well. The room also had an area to sit, along with a small coffee table which was great for evenings. I honestly couldn't give any fault to the room - which is a first! No hotel is perfect, however this came pretty close. I had no issues during my stay - however I'm sure if I did have any issues, they'd be dealt with with the staff. Lastly, the Aqua restaurant had a calm atmosphere, the staff were very tentative, there were some really tasty options on the menu. I would recommend the Deer steak, my partner thoroughly enjoyed this! Couldn't recommend this hotel enough! My only regret is that we didn't try the spa - unfortunately our trip was too short but we hope to be back one day :)
This was my second or third stay in this hotel, absolutely great stay. Excellent location but still quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant was ecellent, food and service: ten points. Breakfast was excellent, nothing spectacular but high quality.
As title suggests this was a wonderful hotel and location. January is the off season so only the hotel was open to serve food but luckily the food was wonderful. Only negative was that we could not get an appointment in the spa because it was so popular. Additionally, we left early on sunday and no key box or staff member on reception so had to leave key with a note. Overall one of the best hotels in Europe i’ve stayed in
The location was very good the service is fast and the view from the window was amazing I was received the hotel because in the net they changed hotels they sent me an email and realex me that I will receive good rooms thanks!!!
We stayed at hotel Lago di Garda for 4 days and we had absolutely lovely time there. That´s such a beutiful place with amazing view to Garda. Thank you very much for everything. Absolutely reccomend!! :)
Amazing stay and experience. We stayed here for a week and this has to be one of the best so far in our many years of travelling and exploring this strange old planet. Met with a very friendly smile on entering this modern clean hotel, we were automatically given an upgrade due to the time of year, this included, lakeside view, which is stunning, Hot-tub on balcony and rooms that are not only generous in size but modern and so well kept! Hotel itself is very modern and chic. Well placed for getting about the lake side attractions. Depending on time of year you visit will determine whats on. With regards to feedback: Robes and slippers would be a nice touch for the hot tubs and also cleaners (who do a marvellous job) may just keep the noise down a bit each morning for those wanting a long lie! Apart from this we loved the place and will return again in warmer season! There are plenty eating places around and we loved the scenery and locals whom were very friendly. Needless to say there were a few bad points with getting to hotel but in relation to toll booths and rip off roads on the way there and back! However I would suggest flying to airport close by Lake Garda (Verona or Brescia-montichiari) as Milan Linate Airport is honestly one of the worse I have been through and I've have been through many! The two hour drive down there is not great either, not much scenery until nearly there.
Despite my own mistake when booking, and booking fewer nights than I was supposed to, the guys behind reception did everything to help. Even giving me a discount given the unexpected further expense. Perfect location, and a great base to explore from. I couldn't recommend it more.
We were very happy about our booking at Hotel Lago di Garda. The service was superb. Even before arrival Aurora was taking good care of us and organizing a parking for our sports car which tends to be a pain to park... Everything was ready when we arrived, from the bottle of sparkling wine to the Spa privatization. The room was fantastic with an amazing view (despite the rainy weather). Booking a private Spa session is a must for couples. It is way worth it. Also, if you can, book one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi on the terrasse and it will even come handy when it is cold and rainy like it was on our visit. The location for us was spot on as we were coming down from the Alps and needed an overnight stop to continue to Milan. The drive on the Western coast line of the Garda lake is a blast. It is actually the road were they filmed the opening scene of the James Bond Movie Quantum of Solace.
Very good hotel, that's surrounded by beautiful landscapes . We reserved room just for one night, but decided to stay for two days instead. There are many old castles around the lake. We visited some of theme .) The place was awesome , nothing more to add here :)
The hotel is lovely and right on the main road, the lake view room has an incredible view of lake garda and the whirlpool on the balcony is just icing on the cake. The hotel is good and contemporary rooms, service & food in the restaurant is also good. Overall it’s a good hotel.
