Stay here, you won't be disappointed... We stayed for three nights on a half board basis... Lovely lake view rooms, amazing restaurant and wine list, brilliant service and ever so slightly off the beaten track, so peaceful and quiet...
The hotel is located perfectly around Lake Bled! Stunning views from the rooms.. hotel staff is super helpful, cordial and very accommodating.. they tried their best to accommodate my food needs (no meat) into their dinner 3 course meals. We were also a part of the St Martins festival organised by the hotel , the food was simply amazing! Michelin star presentation and taste.. we can’t stop raving about this place.. will def come visit every time we come to Slovenia.
We booked a package with a lake view room for a birthday celebration. We were not disappointed - the view of lake Bled! Our room was lovely with a wow view = perfect stay. The bed was comfortable. It was relaxing sitting on the balcony looking at the lake. The bathroom was spacious, but there was no fixed shower - only a hose from the bath. So, we had showers in the pool area. When we were in Lake Bled it was so hot, the pool was great to cool off. The dinners which were part of the package were fixed 3 course meals. They were above average. Breakfasts were excellent, though. The hotel is very close to the train station - walking distance, and near the walking paths around the lake. During our stay we did the full walk around the lake - it was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful - and made our stay a pleasant and enjoyable one.
First of all location of this hotel is amazing and it has a perfect wiew of Blade lake. Rooms are spacious, indoor swimming pool is a great way to finish your day and they will let you stay even after working hours and you can use sauna if you like it. Restaurant in hotel is voted one of the best in Slovenia and the food is really good, not perfect but very good. Personal is very friendly and helpful. All in all you will not make a mistake booking the room in this place.
Wonderful hotel, excellent service, great facilities! We had a lake view balcony double room which was spacious, clean and had an unforgettable view over the lake and alps! So beautiful! Loved the oldie worldie charm of the whole hotel. We had a welcome traditional cream cake and happy birthday message for my boyfriend which was a lovely touch. The pool/sauna were very well kept and needed after walking all day. The food was delicious as was the hotel's red wine. A short (but steep) walk down to the lake was easily done but may be a struggle for some to get back up (only a couple of mins, push through!) it is so worth it to be in this quiet and peaceful part of Lake Bled. We much preferred this area than the busy side where some of the hotels were very large and touristy. Very good experience and highly recommended!! Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing stay. (Note that tap water is drinkable, even in the rooms!).
We’ve just returned from an amazing 3 night break to Lake Bled. As a young couple in our mid twenties we couldn’t be happier with our choice of hotel. We booked a double room with a balcony and the view was simply stunning, especially on a sunny day which we were very lucky and had two of those. The hotel is a walk from the other side of the lake where all of the restaurants, shops and cafes are, took us around 35 minutes, you can walk via the road or round the lake both are around the same distance. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we wanted to try some Slovenian restaurants, but this meant walking half an hour into the centre and half an hour back in the pitch black- thank goodness for phone lights! Because of the time of year we visited, Lake Bled is really winding down for the winter in October, we saw a few restaurants closed and a few of the boat rental places around the lake are also closed, however we are still glad we visited at this time of year because it was lovely and quiet which added to the serenity and the autumn colours were beautiful! Because of all the walking we did, we roughly walked 30 miles in two days, the swimming pool and sauna was heaven. The first day the pool was a bit chilly but the next two days it was like a bath! We had to ask for the sauna to be switched on, again I think this was due to time of year as we were the only ones ever using the pool! The staff members on reception were so helpful, answering the many questions we had and offering directions to the places we wanted to go. They also offered us the two bikes they have at the hotel to loan for free of charge which we accepted on the last morning, we wish we’d used these earlier as would’ve saved hours of walking around the lake! Breakfast was good, standard European selection of cold meats, pastries and yogurt. They offer to cook eggs for you but there was no bacon or sausages during our stay there. Lovely eating looking over the lake through the window (too cold to use the terrace in October!) Overall we had a fantastic stay in Lake Bled. The hotel was stunning and would recommend it to anyone. My one tip I want to pass on is definitely prebook your airport transfers to the hotel, we didn’t and ended up paying €78 for a 35 minute journey. We later found out that the hotel transfer costs €55 and we used this for the return journey. Don’t let the taxi drivers take advantage, especially as like us we arrived late in the evening when getting a bus wasn’t an option.
We went on a Secret Escape deal , it was just a great trip , hotel was fab , indoor swimming pool , room spacious and an amazing view of the lake. The food was good but no choice as we were on a deal so a set menu . Excellent wine with each course our sommelier offered not cheap but superb wines a revelation . Breakfasts excellent .Good walking area .
The hotel triglav is simply amazing. The rooms are well equipped, we booked lake view and the staff us really friendly. The restaurant is superb, I would recommend to also make reservation for the restaurant when booking the hotel as otherwise they might be fully booked.
It was probably one of the best decisions to stay in the Triglav Bled Hotel, a very quite and a quaint place close to this small railway station Bled Jezero, the rooms have a un interrupted view of the lake bled, and in 50 meters distance a nice little walk path leading all the way to the lake. the Location could not be better. The staff who is extremely friendly helpful and genuinely nice, always smiling. Felt very very warm to meet such nice people. The break fast service was fine with eggs made how you want it and the rest of the buffet available. a few minor things there was no hot water maker in the room to have some tea or coffee, which is usually expected int he rooms. But given the experience i had i am ready to ignore that. A complimentary Swedish sauna helped us to forget about that totally.
Unforgettable views of Lake Bled from 200 metres above. Excellent food in the restaurant (best foie gras my husband has had, perfectly seared sea bass for me). Service is inconsistent. 100+ year-old building in Victorian style. The rooms are quaint, with decent amenities and a feeling of nostalgia from an older era (the hotel is chock full of antiques and historical photos). When booking, ask for a lake view and balcony if the weather is good: the train runs across the street from the hotel and can be noisy). Be sure to book a window table in the restaurant.
