    Luxurious Courtyard Garden Condo Perfect for Children and Family!

    This very spacious (1,440 square feet) condo on the ground floor of Tower 1 is ideal for families with children and also provides easy access for seniors. In addition, a wide lanai and a private garden corner in the inner courtyard (from which you can get a glimpse of the ocean) provide extra space suitable for relaxation, and allows room for children to play outside in a safe environment. And, of course, when the children return home with dirty outfits, unit 121/123 features washer and dryer units inside the condo. The condo is only a few steps away from all the amenities at The Whaler, including the tennis court, the new lobby building (front desk, concierge and activity reservation desk) , the daily feeding of the colorful koi in the inner courtyard pond, the gym and spa on the basement floor of Tower 1, the BBQ facilities, the Whaler pool with a hot tub and sun decks. The adjacent Pool Kiosk offers free towels and beach chairs. Last but not least, the sandy beach and ocean are right in front of the main buildings. One minute away, Whalers Village offers some 60 shops and several upper class restaurants (Leilani, Hula Grill, etc ) on the ocean shore, as well as a food court for casual dining and children's favorites. Additional fantastic restaurants are found at the nearby Westin Resort and the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, both along the beach walk directly in front of the Whaler. Unit 121/123 is unique within the Whaler property because it is decorated tastefully throughout the condo with Maui marine artwork by Robert Lyn Nelson. One can fully enjoy the beauty of the Maui waters and the underwater fauna population inside the condo! Mr. Nelson's original work can also be admired at the Lahaina Galleries on Front Street in Lahaina. In addition to the wide-ranging improvements and reconstruction at The Whaler Resort as a whole during the past few years, unit 121/123 was extensively renovated during the second half of 2016. The kitchen has been totally redone with granite countertops and new cabinetry, and is fully equipped for home cooking. The guest bathroom has been newly equipped with a glass shower cubicle, and the living room got new sofa beds along with a matching loveseat and upholstery. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, and the second bedroom offers separate double beds. We offer a range of pillows to allow guests to select the most suitable ones for their comfort. For smaller children, a highchair is available and cribs can be arranged upon request. For emergency guests, a deluxe air bed can be easily inflated with the accessories that come along with it. Overall, the location in the center of Kaanapali Beach cannot be beat! In less than one minute by car, you find the Club House of the Kaanapali Golf Resort at the entrance of Kaanapali Parkway with one Championship and one Resort Golf Course. Further out, it is a 10-minute drive to Lahaina and Kapalua where you will find more beaches, golf resorts like the world-famous Kapalua Plantation Course (which hosts the PGA Champions Tournament early in January every year), shops, restaurants, art galleries, theaters and lots of entertainment. The property is owned by KESAG Hawaii Ltd. incorporated in the State of Hawaii with registered domicile in Kahului, Maui (Hawaii Tax I.D. No. TA-047-515-2384-01).

      Couldn't be more pleased!

      This place was absolutely perfect. We loved being on the ground level. So easy to just walk outside and stroll thru the beautiful courtyard on the way to the pool or ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for preparing meals. We rarely ate out and it was so convenient to have everything there. The closet filled with chairs, beach toys, etc. was very convenient and we made good use of it all. The decor was nice and all the wall art was beautiful. The unit could use an update here and there, especially the master bathroom, but everything was functional and that's all we hoped for. The lanai is very spacious and private because it's the corner unit so no one is walking by. You have a small view of the ocean and can hear the waves. The property grounds were very beautiful and so nicely manicured. Never had any interaction with the staff aside from check-in. It took a couple of times for the keys to get programmed correctly, but they finally got it. They were very nice and accommodating. The pool was very nice and we spent a lot of time there when we weren't in the ocean just a few steps away. This property does not have a restaurant or store but that's ok because whalers village is right next door and has everything you need there. Also, just a short walk down the path is Black Rock for beautiful snorkeling. We have stayed at this property before, but not in this unit or on the ground level. We loved it and prefer it to other units we've stayed in. We will definitely be looking to book this unit for our next visit. Mahalo!

        Ideal!

        My family and I had a wonderful stay in this well appointed condo. I have been to Maui many times and I was most comfortable here!!! Here is what you need to know as a traveler... Owner-Speedy communication and offered up travel information as well. We had a glitch with our flight and let me just say that the owner was overwhelmingly considerate and accommodating. Any question you have will be answered immediately, rest assured. Kaanapali Beach-The best beach in Maui. I prefer West Maui to South (the 2 dominant resort areas). South Maui offers many high end resorts that are mostly on a hill and below is the beach. West Maui has some hotels but also mixes in large condominiums. Here, you can just spill from your room onto the beach. The beach walk is actually on the beach and there is so much to do right on the beach. The hiking is West Maui is incredible and so are the smaller beaches that dot the coast. Property (not condo)- The Whaler in the BEST possible location. Right on Kaanapali Beach closer to Black Rock with plenty of dry sand, great pool, nice amenities, beautiful reception area, easy parking, and a short 3 minute walk to the shopping and great food. The Condo-Incredibly spacious. Kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. Previous guests are kind enough to leave spices behind. The layout was perfect and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Washer/dryer a HUGE plus. There are also beach toys (boogie boards, noodles, chairs, floaties, snorkel gear) in a hall closet that were fun and convenient. The location of this condo within this property is a winner!!! It is on ground level tucked a little ways back from the beach (ocean views from lanai). Coffee and wine had from the lanai were spectacular and whenever we wanted to go onto the beach it took only 2 minutes to get into the water. I can not stress how perfectly situated this condo is or how incredibly comfortable we were. Our car was consistently parked only steps from the condo and I just couldn't believe how obscenely convenient everything came to be. If you have never been to Maui I am sure you have lots of questions. We all want the best value for our dollar and want convenience for our families. This condo ticks all the boxes and you should feel confident booking your stay here.

          Perfect .

          We liked the fact that it’s on the ground level, especially with little ones! No elevator needed. It’s a corner unit and secluded so we didn’t have passers by. It is just a short walk to the gorgeous beach! We’re going to miss it!

            Great Vacation - Would Stay Here Again!

            We love the Whaler! This is our 4 stay at the property and 1st Stay at this condo. We loved it! Spacious for all six of us. Ground floor was easy for us to come and go with all of our beach gear. Our kids said it felt like home!

              The condo was better than we could have imagined. It is huge! The location was perfect & everyone at the Whaler was so nice. The property is beautiful. We will definitely be back & look forward to staying at this condo in the future.
