Red Roof Inn Lafayette, IN

Room keys constantly stopped working. Towels are old and worn and have actual holes. An real life drug bust went down one night. Guests who were obviously tweaking would randomly roam the landings. The staff hoses down the stairwells and walkways every morning, if that gives you any hints. There is often no one at the front desk - just a note that says 'We'll be back in 10 minutes' - which wouldn't matter if the room keys ever actually worked. Good luck getting Housekeeping to clean your room if you sleep in and leave for the day after 11am - we were actually told no by several people, until we found the head Housekeeper, and she promised to take care of it. Toiletries were never replaced, so hang on to that tiny bar of soap for dear life. We tried to find someplace else to stay, but every other hotel was booked solid. I would have walked away even without getting a refund if I had been able to.

The first night was priced at less than $60, which was fine. When we went to extend our stay by one night, they raised the price to over $180.00. Three times what we had agreed to. The Staff was no help and unpleasant with us.

The room at this Red Roof Inn was really quite nice. It had a king bed, a refrigerator, and workspace. The staff was outstanding, very kind and very helpful. I was just stopping here on my way from Ohio to Chicago for an early flight, and I was truly impressed with the place. I often pay lots more for a much worse hotel room!

Overall this hotel was ok for the money, it was clean but that's about it. The breakfast could be better since it really only has bagels and banana's and a few other small items. The iron in my room I had to exchange because it had glue or something on it. The absolute worst part was the internet, IT STINKS!!! I went to the front desk to complain and I was told to call the tech hotline for the internet company. Why me? I did and they said this particular hotel tells customers this all the time so apparently they know the internet stinks,

Everything was really god until my boy friend smashed a cock roach on the bathroom floor. That didn't go over well but we still stayed and left the next morning...rather then that everything was pretty good.

The Red Roof is probably the best value stay in Lafayette. The room was very clean, had a Samsung flat panel and a newly renovated room. Micro and frig in the room and comfortable beds and pillows. The service was excellent and management went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. This was all at a rate one third less than other comparable rooms in town.

Went back to West Lafayette for a Purdue game. Good price for a quick two night stay. Rooms have been recently updated, pretty clean and up to date. Breakfast was kinda lacking, not a whole lot of options for a continental breakfast. But overall wasn't too bad of a stay.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The furnishings are a little dated, but everything was clean and in good repair. We had stayed at two other hotels nearby recently and this was definitely the best of the 3. I would stay again.

The rooms are clean and nice. They have all the ammenities needed. Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, TV and free parking facilities

We were driving from Wisconsin to Ohio and needed a quick, just off the highway, place to stay. This hotel was low cost which gave us the value we were looking for. Typical Red Roof with the entrances to the rooms from the balcony. The accommodations were very basic and outdated, but we did not expect more that than for the price.

Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. Needs more to choose from though. Very good for the value.

The location was very good, it was close to Walmart and food places. I was just 11 minutes away from Purdue University.

Prompt service, clean room, quiet area, waffle maker worked well for breakfast, everything works, low price.

This was a nice location and the staff was very friendly. Good experience.

Rooms were recently renovated. Beds were comfortable and sheets better than average. Room and bathroom was on smaller side but nice. Wanted an economical room for the weekend and this was better than expected. Would stay there again.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. My room key would not work each time I returned to my room so I had to go to the office to get new keys every time.

adaquate facilities but right on the main road and noisy. OK for a fast nap

Room provided was suppose to be non-smoking, but smelled of smoke. Chair has huge cigarette burn on its seat. Beds and pillow were not comfortable. Continental breakfast was one of the worst that we have had. Definitely would not stay again or recommend to anyone.

We were a couple visiting friends in Lafayette for a day and found this hotel to be a great stay! It has modern furniture and laminate floors. Our room was a superior king with an lcd tv, fridge, microwave, iron etc. Bathroom and sink were very clean.Sink had a contemporary design. Overall great stay, very comfortable bed, had a great sleep, and will recommend this hotel to anybody looking for cheap but high quality accommodation!!!

I was impressed with the rooms physical condition., especially for the price. Everything seemed fresh, well maintained and of good quality. I thought the lighting needed some work. Basically, it would be nice to have a general room light. Also, you may want to talk with whoever owns the dumpster, and have them move it, It was serviced at about 4 am each morning and was extremely loud in room 104.
