We checked in very late, and our room had no toiletries and no towels except one hand towel. My husband had to go to the front desk to get towels at 11 pm. We used our own shampoo that we brought to wash our hands. The breakfast was good, the food was good quality for a complimentary breakfast and there was plenty of space to sit. The pool was the biggest disappointment of the entire stay. I had chosen this particular hotel because it had an indoor pool since i have 3 children who would otherwise get bored in the evening and they love to swim. It was so dirty and cloudy that you couldn't see the bottom of it, it was frigid because the heater wasn't on (in February), and there were no pool towels. You'll remember that we had no towels to spare already. My kids couldn't tolerate being in it and I'm dreading them catching a stomach bug from the water quality. We ended up spending the evening in an open area with tables (since it was a conference center, there were large secluded areas with tables and comfortable chairs) which ended up being a very enjoyable evening with my extended family who were also staying onsite. The cleaning crew arranged my daughter's stuffed animals on the bed very sweetly when they serviced the room, I thought that was a wonderful gesture.

Wonderful hotel close to downtown and many other services! Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great complimentary hot breakfast spread. We didn't use them, but the arcade and pool looked well taken care of. Our room was very comfortable with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and reliable wifi. My only complaint is that the bathtub was a little dirty and the air in the room was a little stale and smelled of chemicals, but I would still definitely recommend the hotel!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. The kids really had a blast at the arcade and at the indoor pool. The basketball and tennis court was awesome also. Will definitely be staying again.

All I can say on this site for now is that it was a terrible place to stay due to certain circumstances and the MANAGER allowed it to happen! We knew when we checked in. Did not have an elevator cause the hotel is over 40 years. So that was another strike. We felt it was our best interest to cancel and move on to another place. That is when we found out that I booked threw on line threw a CERTAIN traveling company and I was only told at the booking about cancellation fee, NEVER about if I needed to cancel at hotel that I would lose all the money! $400. Just be informed when you book that you know EVERYTHING! Lesson learned!

One of the worst experience. .. microwave didn't work refrigerator didn't work after swiping it out .... very disappointed it took the guy almost an hour to come replace bth items.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Very polite staff and clean comfortable beds. I will be returning here soon.

I like the fact that he hotel is right off the interstate. I love the indoor pool and spa!!!!

It was not as nice as the photos try to portray but the staff is friendly and it is great for families with children.

My Grandchildren And I enjoyed our stay !! We had 2 rooms the first night for their stay . They enjoyed the pool and game room also. we will be planning another vacation soon and will stay in the Holiday Inn Lafayette . My husband and I live in Texas so it is just a few hours away. IT IS IN A CONVINIENT SPOT ALSO!! The only problem was the pool being crowded Satuday evening !! Seems everyone wanted to swim then . The staff was very courteous and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable . A great place for families !!!

The Holiday Inn, Lafayette, LA was very overpriced and very standard, luckily, I was in and out ..
