Nice hotel with great interior including inside pool and garden with a nice place to sit and relax, especially in winter. But it is likely costly to maintain and the hotel was clearly struggling to keep the standard. The bathroom was not very clean with dark stains on the bathtub curtains and the bathtub was not very clean either. The room was OK, though they informed us that there will be no daily room cleaning, unless we ask for it. Oveoverall we liked it as it was a good price to quality ratio. We wish them to get more clients after covid to be able to recover and sustain higher standard.
The rooms are very clean, spacious and quiet. The location is convenient for attending events at Purdue, dining or shopping.
Dirty and unkempt.
Well it’s old but clean, My problem was that I waited for an hour for the receptionist as she had an “emergency “ She forgot her phone. And was nobody to check us in. I answered the phone. As it kept ringing and we were worried that something bad had happened to the receptionist.
The Four Points was a good hotel for the price. The building is pretty old, but the lobby was recently updated, which felt nice. The pool in the open area mixed with carpet made for a steamy feeling once you were inside, so I'd recommend avoiding rooms facing inside. They do have breakfast, but charged $8 for each adult. The parking lot needed some repairs as there were a ton of potholes, but it was spacious for several U-Hauls. The obvious downside is that this hotel is pretty far off-campus, so you have to drive or Uber anywhere. Overall I'd probably stay here again since the ride shares are cheap in West Lafayette.
Very smelly in the common area, it reeked strongly of chlorine since the pool is indoors. The bath was not very clean looking (had yellow stains). The walls also seemed very thin as we could hear the people next door snoring, having conversations, and using the restroom. We also received a completely mold-covered packaged muffin. Who know how long that muffin had been sitting there!
All good
The faucet is crazy, very strong strings and splash everywhere
This property overall was nice for a quick stay. The water when turned on was brown, forcing my party to shower elsewhere during our stay. Our AC also was not functioning well.
In dire need of a major upgrade. Sounds like that is coming. But I definitely wouldn’t stay there again until that has been done.
Looked like was once a desirable place with good features. Could be ok but would require huge makeover throughout the facility. Although fairly convenient to Purdue, next visit I'll stay elsewhere even if it's a longer drive.
Perfect for dropping your kid off at Purdue
Quiet
Great staff
