wonderful location, extremely helpful manager, delicious breakfast! We stayed 3 days and were sad to leave. Balestrand is a lovely, unspoiled village. It was a 2 minute walk to the heart of town. The manager was so friendly and gave us great advice. He even helped us straighten out a problem with a future reservation in another town. I highly recommend the Kringsjå!

Our balcony rooms had wonderful views. The breakfast buffet was great and we packed our lunches from the same buffet. We used the guest kitchen to make our dinners. It was nice to have a refrigerator to store foods that needed to be cold. The staff was more than great as they went out of their way to help whenever possible. The grocery store is within walking distance and the people at the visitor center, next to the grocery store, were very helpful.
