Stayed here for a week. On arrival we were greeted by staff and soft drinks were available to refresh us. The room was large and spacious, had a bath/shower. Plenty of good sized towels. Room was very clean. There was a large fridge which came in useful, no kettle, but one was available on request from reception. Best of all was the breakfast, a large selection of breads, cheese, meat, fruit, as well as a cooked breakfast, it’s buffet style so you can have as much as you like. We were half board, the evening meal came as 4 course. With choice on the main course and the desert, avoid the ice cream as this is a tiny single scoop. Would say the food was average.

The hotel is well located. If travelling on the tram from Santa Cruz you are six minutes walk from La Trinidad. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious with cooking facilities if you wish to cook. Breakfast options are comprehensive, although some cooked items were not warm despite being on a hot plate. The spa is well worth a visit, but book in advance. Hotel is a great base of your planning a trip to the carnival. · Opportunities, At check in guests should be advised bout safe key and deposit. Breakfast not option, need to be looked at. Maybe improve overhead heat lamps. Small draft excluded on base of room door to reduce light from corridor Better fitting sink plug to reduce water waste

Stayed for a week. Food was very much on the cold side, we (about ten of us) refused to eat the meal one night as rabbit was cold and undercooked - bloody inside. Rooms were good but significant road noise at night, bin lorries woke me up in the early hours most nights.

And not far away from Teide Nationalpark and The Anaga Mountains (don’t miss the little town Taborno ! The most beautiful town in my opinion. Take a Titsa bus ). The hotel was our warm and welcoming home for two weeks. We enjoyed the jacuzzi after a long walking day and the meals in the mornings and in the evenings.

Excellent location right in old historic part of town. Well-equipped (meaning the WiFi works and the bathroom had all needed amenities) with great cafe, bar and lovely restaurant. Good beds with good sheets. Reception had champagne and juice to ease you into your stay. Highly recommend

We spent two nights in a junior suite at Laguna Nivaria and were pleased with the high standards of the room and service. Very spacious suite, luxury grade bedding and robes, and a nice sunny exposure. The UNESCO preserved old town is a five minute walk away, where you'll find many great restaurants, shops and art galleries. Tip: take the free tour from the tourist centre a block from the hotel. A 90 minute tour with great historical information and visits to restored houses from the 1600s. One negative with the Nivaria was a shortage of parking --we had to park in a 7.50 Euro per day lot two blocks away and roll our suitcases to the hotel. There are half a dozen parking spots directly in front of the hotel, but we never saw one vacant in two days. Perhaps our fault for not contacting the hotel beforehand for their solution to this parking shortage.

We wanted a hotel away from the tourist hotels in the South and we hit the jackpot. Rooms are lovely, restaurant was exceptional and the location ideal for wandering around the city. We initially booked in for 1 night but stayed for three - says it all.

Stayed here for a week in March. Was put in a lovely twin room with my friend. Included a kitchenette (but no cutlery), and an en suite with jacuzzi features in the bath. Had a very comfortable stay, and the staff were very helpful when any problems arose.

I have stayed here a number of times as it is close to TFN airport. There is a video screen with flight information for TFN . Comfortable bed and pleasant frontdesk staff . Cable television and small sitting area.

Location Great location in a square near the town hall, cross the square and you are in the pedestrian zone. La Laguna is a lovely town, it has lots of original architecture and some good restaurants. Very convenient for Tenerife North Airport but you don’t hear the planes here. Bed Biggest let down for me. When paying what we did, you expect a decent bed. The springs were going in both beds. We also had two singles despite booking a junior suite where you would normally expect a double. Sound proofing No problems here. Bathroom Had a separate bath with shower and jacuzzi and a very complicated shower Spa stand up unit which had its own computer. My husband tried to use this but gave up after being sprayed with cold water too many times. There were no instructions on how to use it. The normal shower was good enough though! Breakfast Simple choices but all good. My only issue was that they guarded the zumex orange juice machine as if it was the Crown Jewels and limited people to one glass of freshly squeezed juice. Spa It costs 12 euros to use the spa even if you are having a massage as well. We booked our massages before we arrived and there was already limited availability, so worth booking ahead. The massage was good. The Spa is in a separate building but it isn’t far, say 20 metres between the buildings. We just wore our Spa gowns and flip flops. Room choice We had a junior suite in the old building. It had a small kitchenette. It was nice to have the extra space but the sofa and chair were not very comfortable so I tended to just use the dining table chair. Our room had a basic view, part hotel building , part car park. There was no balcony. I debated whether to give 3 or 4. I landed on 3 due to the price we paid. I would stay here again, it was ok, but probably not good value for money.
