Love the place. Very beautiful location. Can see the mountain from your room. Large room.

We loved this hotel so much. The staff was very friendly and did whatever they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms were large, spacious and very comfortable. The bathrooms are really cool with the waterfall (I saw some negative comments about the bathroom waterfall and we had nothing but great things to say about it). The back porches were really pleasant and the Private hot tub Back there were really nice. The view from the pool and the restaurant of the volcano was incredible. The food at the restaurant was really good as well (both dinner and breakfast). The hotel is very centrally located being just about 10 minutes from La Fortuna, about 20 minutes from the hanging bridges and the 1968 hiking trail, and close to the hot spring resorts. The staff took COVID very seriously and had very serious cleaning standards. We felt very comfortable the entire time, and we are taking COVID very seriously. Overall, cannot say enough good things!

This was a very pleasant resort with a nice view of Arenal.

Nice grounds, good breakfast, nice employees. Warning....room smelled extremely strong of pesticides, in the room, and on the patio.

Nice hotel in the middle of the rainforest the staff was friendly and the the hotel is very close to the volcano. Most of the time the volcano was clouded over but there was one day when we were able to see the whole volcano

Nice hotel and wonderful area. Wonderful view of the Arenal volcano. Good breakfast. Dinner selection was limited but good. We had a good time staying here. The town was 7 km. Roundtrip taxi is $20 to the town.

Will be recommending this property to all my friends and family. Was the most relaxing accommodation in our many weeks in Costa Rica.

Nice hotel. Little away from the town. Spacious rooms, comfortable large beds. Waterfall shower was awesome. Great breakfast buffet had mix of local and western variety.

Our stay was fantastic. We were greeted promptly by the staff and given welcome drinks as well as a comprehensive tour and transportation to our bungalow. The room is spacious, tropical and ours came with the most fantastic view possible. The shower was amazing as well as the whirlpool tub on the patio. The hotel worked hard to ensure we were comfortable and arranged transportation for us whenever we needed to take a tour or travel to town. This is a jungle room so there are the infrequent insect visitors in the bathroom however we only noted a few flies that came in while we had the patio door open. We had room 101 and our only complaint would be the loud music from the nearby pool bar and the loud screaming children next door.

We found this boutique hotel online, reserved a room and was not disappointed. Very Romantic villa was what they gave us with beautiful stone washroom, bedroom with wall to wall glass door with views of tropical garden and the Volcano and opening up to your private patio with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub! The public pool is stunning and is really a massive hot tub with waterfalls, swim up bar and restaurant. The formal restaurant was good with stunning views of Arenel Volcano... Unbelievable!

Very nice hotel... The pool was really good specially the sink in bar...

Pros: end of road seclusion, above avg room size w/ pvt patio; food was quite good compare to previous reviews, new chef Cons: rude receptionist, he told us he can x-ge our $ but failed to do so when we requested. He would not give me another room key card and ask me to meet the staff at my room to have it opened. I waited for 15 min & no one showed up; rude wet bartender who condescendingly disciplined me when I reach for a pool towel& said "u have to buy a ticket at the front desk to rent a towel". I have never heard of a hotel who charges for pool towels & make it inconvenience

Great views, staff were wonderful, easy to get to other activities. Villas were great, but could do with a dehumidifier as they became very damp, after 4 days of rain and therefore not really comfortable.

We stopped in Fortuna and stayed at mountain paradise hotel for two nights. It was our favorite part of the trip, as everything was perfect! The rooms and facilities were beautiful and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Hotel Mountain paradise was our favorite hotel ever. The rooms were amazing, the pool was extremely relaxing, the location was private but within minutes of lots of attractions. The views are amazing. Truly our favorite. We really thought about changing out trip so we could stay another night here. The one downside is the food was not terrific. Breakfast was great, but not dinner.

Location and grounds were beautiful and the pool and wet bar were great. We spent a few nights soaking in the heated pool while it poured rain...a great way to not let the vacation rain get to you. I accidently made the reservation for a day earlier than we wanted to leave. The hotel staff was great about letting us stay an extra night and even kept the same low rate I got through a third party. It's a bit out of town, but not too far, and they run a few shuttles every day.

The waterfall shower did not have warm water, we had frogs inside the bathroom area, the air conditioner did not work very well and the toilet was also faulty. We had to keep taking off the toilet lid to plug the water. The pool is a hot springs pool, why would you want to swim in that in hot and humid costa rica?!
