We arrived a little bit before the check in and the receptionist was so nice to have 2 rooms ready and also close to each other. Location was amazing, just 10 minutes walking from the town centre. Room were nice and comfortable, bathroom not too large but was ok. We didn't stay for dinner, we had once breakfast. It was a buffet, nice only thing is i couldn't request a different type of coffee as only filter was available. Anything else was great and definitely recommend and will be back there if in Santiago again.
We have been walking the Camino de Santiago for 27 days staying in budget hotels and Albergues. This hotel is a little hidden gem. The rooms are spacious and the en suite has a bath which was very welcome as most of the other places did not. The resteraunt offers a great value menu of the day. The buffet breakfast was good too. We will be back.
This was a simple, but comfortable hotel. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great location right near the centre of town. Breakfast options could have been better, but it certainly didn't ruin our stay
Hotel is in an ok position as it is just a short walk to shops, cafes and bars. If you walk a little more you can walk to the cathedral. The hotel itself has lovely reception area where you can sit and chat in very comfortable chairs and sofas. There is also a bar area to have a drink. Staff are nice The room itself is spacious- our room had 3 beds. Good basic room with large wardrobe, safe and tv. The bathroom is a good size as well.
Clean room with room service staff was friedly big wash room on the way to cathedral and center the city. In the neighbourhood are good restaurant and bus station.it is option have dinner in hotels rentaurant.
I spent 8 nights by myself in this hotel. I had a lovely time. The hotel was conviently located between Almena Park and the Cathedral. The staff could not have been more courteous and kind. Everyday they went out their way to ensure I was taken care of, for example the provided my room with boiling water and cold fresh milk for my Irish tea, not the norm in Spanish Hotels. The receptionists were splendid guides on how to manoeuvre in Santiago. I hope to stay here again.
spent two night there and was very comfortable. It was great having a large bed and clean towels daily. I would certainly stay there again. I would say its a 2-3 star hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. Its 10 minutes walk to the cathedral and the bus stops at the end of the road The restaurant does meals at a reasonable price. I had pork and chips for 5 euros. Its not the cut of pork I expected, but for 5 euros, I was not complaining. There was lots of freshly cooked chips. When visiting this area, make sure you pack an umbrella. The owners were happy to supply me with one during my stay.
Sorry but I had hoped the room would have a bath at least as shown in the pictures I guess I should have expected it, given the low price I really was looking forward to a bath after the long Camino walk. Please make sure to make the request for a bath as you may get a shower by default
I stayed three nights in this somewhat dated businessman/bus-tour hotel. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, I slept well and found a wonderful big bathtub in my bathroom: a real rarity for a single! The price was good for a place near the city center. Still, the room was stuffy, AC did not work, the window looked out into an air shaft, and the staff were less-than friendly. The public lounge area was dark and dreary, happily there are some very good restaurants and bars nearby.
Very good hotel considering the low price. A few hundreds meters of walking and you are in the lovely old town of Santiago. The hotel has a good working wi-fi, a simple but good breakfast, and very helpful staff. There is a public parking 200 meters from the hotel which is integrated in a nice calm park area. The only drawback is that the installations and furniture etc seems pretty old and worned out. However, the hotel is very clean!
