Located just a10 minute stroll from the old city centre, the Hotel Rosa Rosae is a really lovely hotel. Very modern, very, very clean and very helpful reception staff. Great breakfast! Highly recommended.
Nice hotel 15 mins walk to old town. Hotel is very clean & good base if on a budget. Rooms were modern & comfortable. We stayed here on our last night after doing a cycle tour with explore. Was nice to get to a clean modern hotel. They offer free cakes, coffee & tea in afternoon around 4pm which is nice touch. The coffee, cakes & breakfast were all very good. Free wifi works very well, staff very friendly & helpful. If on a budget I would definitely stay again. No hotel bar but plenty of shops, bars & cafes 2 min walk.
Modern rooms, not far from the rail staion anda short walk into the old town. Room was confortable with all required. Breakfast in a small arwa, but with help yourself to juice, cereal, tea, bread etc. A nice touch was free tea/coffee/cakes in the afternoon! Useful for those walking the Camino or needing a cafeine/sugar fix after a long day.
If you want an inexpensive base for a couple of nights then this hotel is ideal. Located in the new town and a 10 minute walk up to the old town. New in style, yet lacking any character or ambiance. The staff are excellent. Very knowledgeable. The hotel spotlessly clean. The hotel was probably not built as a hotel. Except for a dingy breakfast room (no windows in the basement) there are no facilities. Rooms and bathrooms set new standards on small. They are air-conditioned. No views. No frills. Parking is in the public car park nearby (c. €10 per day) and the main rail station is just 5 mins away. It is a hotel that whilst adequate is not memorable.
Continuing our tour of northern Spain we had 2 nights booked in this friendly hotel. We had booked through Brittany Ferries and our satnav took us to within yards of the hotel, the instructions were to turn left just before the hotel, ignoring the no-entry sign for residents only! and park outside while checking in and unloading. The receptionist spoke excellent english having worked in Dublin for 5 years before returning to Spain and getting married, she was pleased to practise her english. She recommended the local underground car park where they had a reduced tariff for guests. Our small family saloon just fitted into the bay, which was obviously designed for 1970 sized minis!. The rooms are small and compact but with everything you need. What we particulrly liked was the offer of free coffee/tea and cakes in the afternoon between 4 and 7 pm, which after a long drive was very welcome.
This is a nice little hotel near the business centre and the main area of Praza de Galicia in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Has WiFi internet connection, friendly staff & service and the quiet you need to rest. Loved it ... ! Dj Rachael (Kla UG)
An attractive hotel with pleasant rooms that were spotlessly clean. The staff were super helpful. In reasonable walking distance of the Cathedral even with 2 new hips. The downstairs lounge was very comfortable just to sit in for a quiet spell.
Very friendly staff. Cozy hotel, not far away from the old city (. 6 min walk), Nice restaurants and shops in the area. Rooms are very smal, but clean and modern. Breakfast is very good compared to spanish standard. In the afternoon you also get free snacks. Staff is very pleasant and helpfull.
This small hotel is very well located within 15 minutes walking to the cathedral and the center of the old city. Staff are very pleasant and cooperative. The building is very modern with its entrance on a side street with very little traffic. There is an underground public parking lot very conveniently placed within less than a block and the hotel has an arrangement with it to charge 10€ per day. Good breakfast for 6 €. Good wifi in rooms. Bathroom is excellent. Public transportation in front of the buolding. I can recommend this place without hesitation.
We stayed three nights. Room and bathroom was nice but quite small. Convenisn't , location. 10 minute walk to old town. Plenty of cafes & shops close by.. Paula the receptionist couldn't have been anymore helpful. Enjoyed our stay there
