This is our first night in Croatia .As always we consulted friends and credible organizations like the Trip Advisor. We did take an extra precaution. We selected a hotel that belongs or is operated by Best Western. It was already dark when we arrived. We didn’t see the sea, but an almost full moon showed us few lights in in the water , probably small fishermen boats. We had a to wait for the morning after to see for the first time the Adriatic with all its splendor. Back to the hotel, a cozy reception with very friendly receptionists who were happy to practice with us 3 languages : English, French ,Spanish . We didn’t reserve an ocean front room, but they have been very nice to upgrade us. Pretty good size room, everything clean and fresh. After breakfast we decided to walk the beach and we had our first swim in the Adriatic. Too bad we didn’t plan to stay at least 2 days here, this place deserves a better ranking. Make sure you reserve an ocean view room. The other side of the hotel is not pretty at all and the difference in price is small. May be you can be as lucky as us.
Great location close to the sea. Clean and practical room with balcony. About 20 minutes walk to the City center. Breakfast is quite ok, including warm dishes. Minibar in hotellrom and a small desk for working.
Stayed twice at this hotel..Lovely rooms and great views of the sea from the balcony..Very friendly and helpful staff at the desk..Breakfast room is so beautiful..Delicious food and healthy choices...Overlooks the sea while you have breakfast. On site parking..Location is great. We walked into Old Town from hotel..Just a few minutes walk..Would definitely stay here again...
This week we traveled Croatia along the Adriatic Coast line from Dubrovnik to Slovenia. This is our 5th hotel. It was an excellent find - the best so far! The staff were friendly, food was good, room was nice, bed was comfortable, the view off our balcony was awesome and the towels were soft!
We stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. Hotel is nice and clean, the room was nice good size. Breakfast was great nothing special choice for everyone. It has its own private beach area with a few beds. The hotel needs to spend some money at the beach front looks very old. Car park is free and good wifi. In Rijeka nothing to do we went to Opatija instead. Which is a beautiful seaside town.
We went to Jadran hotel to be close to Rijeka airport after a week of sailing... so for us it was more a necessity.. The hotel was nice, rooms are simple but clean and food was average. there is a small kids club which was nice... The location is great - right on the boardwalk and beach... The staff was also very nice.
Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and do not regret one day. Located a bit outside Rijeka center and 2 meters from the Adriatic sea - what more do you want? All personell are very friendly and helpfull.
The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the city center, but also serviced by the #1 bus. The location is superb, directly on the Adriatic. Rooms have a wonderfu view and there is a deck on the lower floor that allows you to sun bath and swim. The service was friendly and prompt. Rikeka is not on the typical Croatian tourist map, but it is well worth a visit. It was once an important port for the Habsburgs. There was a large Italian population, and Italians still call the city Fiume. After WWI for a brief time it was occupied by the Italian poet and nationalist D'Annunnzio, who wanted to claim it for Italy. When the Italian government failed to go along, he declared it the Italian Regency of Carnaro and instituted a short-lived government that anticipated some of the fascist gestures and symbology adopted by Mussolini. All of this, good food, and a chance to swim alone in the Adriatic.
hotel looks appealing and the front rooms (superior rooms) face the waterfront, however the other rooms face a busy road overlooking the neighbourhood. Road is very noisy until late in the evenings. Main restaurant has nice outside balcony and a la carte menu is quite good. Made the mistake one night of booking for the buffet, and between booking and coming down for dinner, several buses arrived and most of the food was either gone or down to the last scraps. Staff could not keep up, felt sorry for them, and most food was not replenished. Too far to walk to main tourist / restaurant precinct, and one way road means a longer travel to get back to town. Onsite parking is convenient. More a business hotel.
Only thing good about this hotel is the view , very poor room service wash basin was defective, lousy food , also the Restuarant staff was very rude. had no choice as there very no Restuarants nearby.Personally i would never visit this hotel again,as it was booked by my travel agent.
