So I stayed at the hotel with my family for two weeks in August. The hotel has been renovated and is clean and nice looking. The rooms are nice but way too small. The size of the superior room is not the standard for a four star hotel. It was so small that we had to keep our bags on the balcony. The food in the restaurant was nice, enough option for everyone. The kids club which was one of the main reasons why I booked this hotel as I have a four year old was very bad. There where no age groups in the club. All kids where there, up to the age of 13-14. There was a lot of fighting between the older boys and often the younger kids would get caught in between and hurt. The staff that where kids themselves could not handle this and where often stressed and frustrated. So leaving your child alone there and thinking they would be safe was impossible. Upon checking the receptionist tried to overcharge me and then I explained that we have a voucher and she needs to include that. After 20 min that was fixed. I got the recite in euros with the correct amount. But I payed in kune the Croatian currency, thinking that it was the amount in euros on my recite. At home when checking my account I saw that they charged me almost 200€ more and did indeed not include the voucher that they guaranteed to me at the checkout was included. I have now been emailing, calling hotel, sometimes being in a cue for 30 min before somebody would pick up a phone. I am still waiting for a reply from a hotel and I'm hoping this review will speed things up, other vise I will have to take legal action. All in all it has been a disappointing stay mainly because of how it ended.
The hotel is within the natural complex of pine and coastal vegetation. There are swimming pools, one for children and adults and one for small children only. There are also additional sports activities such as mini golf, table tennis in the open air, water slide ... The food is excellent and diverse. I am delighted with the daily selection of fresh fish and seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, baby food items. The complex is secured so that the children are always safe, in the barrier of the hotel. There is an indoor playroom for children with lots of content for animation, and in evening mini disco was absolutely unavoidable corner of entertainment. Rooms are clean and well maintained. We always had clean towels at our disposal ... and you can never had enough of them on summer holiday:) The interior is bright, a true Mediterranean style. Although the beach is not in front to the hotel, there is only a few minutes walk to the first one and there are several different ones, from those with concrete slabs to sandy and spruce ones. For everyone's taste. We were there two weeks ago and it was very visited. The children always had a lot of company and we could enjoy having fun with friends and admire beautiful sunsets...It was a very pleasant and relaxing, a real holiday!
Rooms are horrible the hotel is updated but the rooms smell of mold air conditioning doesn't work in half the rooms and we had a switch around 4 x. The properties food is so so very Bland and boring. We booked it during busy season way in advance before the reviews were out I would not recommend this to anyone.
Writing this on our last day, after a week-long stay at this super child-friendly hotel. Upon arrival we were given a spacious (comfort) room with plenty space for 2 small kids and 2 adults. Unfortunatelly, the AC wasn't working properly despite the best efforts of a technician. The reception desk moved us to a different room in the second building that we very much enjoyed. The hotel provides children animation in the playroom and at the pool throughout the day. Our kids (6.5 and 2.5) loved it. Indeed, girls and guys from the animation team were super fun and super kind. Apart from the two pools (baby and large) and a slide you can play mini golf or table tennis here. The food is excellent and with plenty of choice. Different sorts of meat, fish and/or seafood, veggies and salads are all tasty and frequently replenished. There is probably room for improvement on the dessert side but with the fruit selection that isn't an issue for us. Also, drinks non alcoholic beverages offered as AI were not something I would easily let my kids drink. The hotel is very conveniently positioned with the shops etc to your right and beaches to the left. Above all, everyone we have interacted with (kitchen and service, towel change, animation, reception, cleaning staff) was always kind and professional. This is the first season for this hotel and I suspect it can only get better once they fix the beginners glitches. We have enjoyed our stay here very much!
Ups; Newly renovated, nice rooms Downs; Everything else ! Rude staff, AC not working, Food is better in a school cafeteria. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, a 2 star would be more approriate. At dinner, you are lowered to cattle, they can't even be botherd to set the table, you need to pick up your own knife and fork ! This would be ok for a 2 star hotel, but it surely not ok for a 350 euros per night hotel. So, spend your hard earned money elsewhere, because Croatia is wonderful.
The hotel was very good. The room was a good size with a nice balcony and constant air conditioning. The food was plentiful and reasonably good in the circumstances. Lots of fresh fruit at all meal times and different choices every day. One note of caution - we booked this as an 'all inclusive' holiday but do not be misled about this. The room includes three meals a day with which you can have red or white wine, mineral water and one or two flavoured sodas. Only the breakfast includes tea and coffee. There are no beers or spirits included in the price.
Very friendly staff and nice place for the family but need to work out on the food. Rooms clean exactly the way we booked with the sea view (sea is hard to be seen since the trees are blocking the view but giving you a nice shad). Now food - first couple of days was ok, not great but good but than something happened. Items from the lunch were added to a dinner, summer fruits bearly to be seen, boiled eggs never fresh and scrambeld eggs nade with herbs every morning. Pasta over cooked. I just could not belive it. It takes so little to make it really good but there is just no interest for it. Like scrambeld eggs to be made plain and a small portion on the side with mixtures but every day different ones. Boiled eggs to be cooked in smaller amounts so it want be needed to be kept longer than a day in the fridge. Items from lunch to be used for a different freshly made dish and so on. Does not cost a penny more it will be even of a lower cost since there will be no waste in a such amount. Overall it was a nice stay. I do hope the food will become better. We will return again but will not book meals in the hotel.
Very bad food, the worst. I haven't eaten bad food like this since i was in Romania. I mean are you trying to get us diabetes all because all the drinks expect wine and water were so sweet like drinking sugar if that existed. I am definitely not coming back.
The room was small, but clean. the food was nice, but we were too busy with our little boy ( 2 years) to try everything. The weather was ugly, so we tried to find a corner for the little one, but there in none in the hotel. the beach is far away, 10-15 minutes of walking.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are serviceable, beds comfortable and view, if you manage to get a sea view super. The buffet is lovely. You are really spoilt for choice. If you can't find anything on the dinner menu to suit your taste buds then you must be a really picky eater. The wine is ok, in fact it is an improvement on last year. The dining room could do with an update as the decor is outdated but all in all a pleasant stay.
