Booked a cheap double room online without any add ons for RM44 per night. Since we never been to the area, we decided to try it out after looking through information online. It is supposedly close to a new MRT station, Surian and also close to Sunway Giza Mall. The MRT can take us to Ikea and The Curve at Mutiara Damansara station. Honestly, the location is not really bad cos it can bring me to The Curve and Ikea. However, the hotel itself is really disaster. This Tune Hotel Damansara is actually a shared building with some sort of academia and office. Tune Hotel only accomodates 4th (known as 3A floor) and 5th floor. the receptionist is at 3A floor. The 5th floor is so dark, only a few lights were on probably because no one stay there. I searched for water filter machine as other Tune Hotels provide so. But i turned the whole 5th floor and only found one machine which is broken. When i asked the receptionist, he told me the hotel provided vending machine and ask me to buy water myself. I do not understand why only this particular Tune hotel did not provide free water for customer. The elevator did not function at night!!! We had to walk all the way up to 5th floor! When we asked the hotel receptionist about the lift, he said it was the building management problem and the hotel is just sharing the lift. He even asked us to tell the security, where in fact we had tried to talk to the security who was not in lobby and he could not communicate in malay or english! The worst is the room itself. Since we did not buy air cond add on, we only have fan. It was okay at first since we ever stay in other Tune Hotels without air cond. But things get ugly when we found out only hot water was flowing out from pipe! It immediately turned into a sauna room the whole night. So my advice is stay away from this hotel.
This hotel located in kota damansara, near to dataran sunway. Have easy access to highway. Dont aspect more then the budget stay here. Rooms are clean. The main door from lobby are not locked down, that's make me feel a little bit unsafe. For parking you have to pay, the rates depends on how long you park.
This is our second family trip in this place. 1st experience was good. This time around, there were new crew. The front office staff (short malay boy) has no PR whatsoever. We stayed for 5 days and he didn't even spoke a word. Having a vending machine as front office clerk would be more acceptable. The room cleaners are friendly and all things work fine considering only rm 80 per night for family outing.
wost hote i ve been in malaysia.write an email one week before to know where is the bus to go there, no answer, so i needed to pay a taxi.only when i arrive, i had this information.no restaurant, close by a terrible food court with horrible food. wifi not good, room very small and litle smelly, the surrounding is horrible, industrial area. i was in another hotel close by the airport and it was cheaper and way better. will never be back in this horrible hotel.
Had 12 hours stopover and needed a bed...walk across the road from Arrivals at KLIA2 and found this dodgy joint...very tired rooms. Bathroom linen etc very worn...clean but worn. Room was non smoking but that never happens right ??
Clean n quiet. Spoilt with choices having a food court, coffee shops n restaurants opposite. Coming up LRT definitely make easy access to KL. Staffs always smiling, understanding and helpful! Looking forward staying again.
The price of this hotel is reasonable and location is convenient with covered car parks. However, there is a pub or some sort of disco nearby with a loud music all night long... Wish they can do something about it.
I book 4 room (no window) for my Futsal team from 12-13 AUG 2016. We arrived to the hotel approx 700 pm and the reception is on the 3rd floor. When I check-in to my room (#704) no remote and no one verify proper function of the tv for picture and sound! My friend room cant open one of the room with card and have to go back to the reception. It should not be happened... Internet speed was okey... I had a much better experience at Tune Hotel Downtown KL
Overall is good but check out time is a bit early 11am. If check out time change to 12pm than is very GOOD. Hotel is just beside the KB Mall, near by you can easily to find food and beverage. Hotel is attached with a convenient shop.
Stayed in this hotel in December 2015 for 4 nights during the Christmas season with 2 kids. Location was good. Room cleanliness is acceptable. Ample car park. Nearby to Kidzania and Ikea. I didnt expect much on service.
