This Hotel needs major renovation. The room had appalling facilities. The water is brown. there was no shower curtain for the bath. Thus the floor is wet n slippery/. It provides very little body gel, shampoo and no hair conditioner. There was no face and hand towels. They only provide bath towels. The TV remote had a black tape to hold the batteries. (room 1110). I used bottled water to brush my teeth. The restaurant for breakfast was also a terrible state. the small bowls at the egg station had dirty bowls. Bowls that had been washed haphazardly. There were egg stains in nearly every bowl. I alerted the restaurant manager. They do not make the rooms unless asked. There is actually no housekeeping personnel or department. The telephone doesn't work. There is ringing sound but no one will answer your called. This is really nerve wrecking.
Coffeshop - good (food & service) Front counter - friendly and efficient Room - quite run down, needs improvement HOUSEKEEPING - POOR - Need to call 3 X before can obtain extra towel and bottled water for family room. DUTY MANAGER - NOT EFFECTIVE -though highlighted to him about housekeeping issue, was told to call housekeeping again if not responded after 5 minutes if still not serviced. Waited about 20 minutes, still no response. Had to call again to housekeeping before being attended. Duty Manager should be pro-active and liaise with Housekeeping to attend immediately
The hotel is located, as its name suggests, in the city center of Kuala Lumpur. That advantage is also its weakness if you travel with heavy luggage and hate scaling flights of stairs from the parking space to the lobby. There is no lift connecting the two points. Access to parking is through narrow lanes besides the building. The room is quite okay, but dated. The door to the bathroom squeaks. The bathroom has no shower curtain. The room looks old. The mattress is a bit on the stiff side. The air-conditioning is not effective. The wifi is weak and requires signing in every time, thus have to remember the password. The breakfast, in the tired-looking dining area, however, is good for a hotel of this class. There are plenty to choose from. If you don't mind the negatives/ weaknesses above, the hotel is conveniently located close to a shopping mall a busy shopping street.
I was at that hotel from 18th to 23rd of July 2017 but leave early on 22nd. 1st day: Room Doesn't have any 3 pin Charging point ,So, I have to switch on the TV for whole night and plug my usb charger into it to charge my phone , Unable to use Laptop as it was not charged and there is no Charging point. 2nd day : I found one Changing point where the bath rooms is at the bottom , but Not able to put adapter charger into it, So I borrow a 2 pin charging support from the front desk. They ask me 10 RM as a refundable deposit for that, they didn't provide any receipt for that. 3rd Day: When I check out , I submitted that pin holder to Front desk and ask them to refund they clearly denied and they behave rudely, I was very much disappointed with their behavior. Room is good but , Corridor was damaged and uncleaned, Breakfast area is too small. Suggest you guys not book that hotel
Had deluxe King, pretty basic with the some basic necessacities made available, didn't have the food at the restaurants, ordered some bfast and received it very fast and was good and fresh. made some requests as we had a toddler and they attended fast too. Only the baby cot wasn't in good condition and we didn't take it.
Quite old hotel, beware usually the bathtub non functioning. The breakfast spread with variety of asian food. Got roti canai, teh tarik, nasi impit n kuah kacang which is a plus in my book. Good stay for the location, walking distance to lrt station but not that great for the room. Have to pay rm2 for parking (what the..)
We were here for Raya shopping stay, The soonest I step in at the lobby the queue for checking in are very long. I have to wait more than 40 minutes to check in.The room and facility are old and back dated. The room service never pick up call. The Front desk staff (an old softie guy) are very rude. The sahur food are terrible but price overly charged.
Close to Sogo, Starbucks and Jalan TAR which are fantastic place for shopping & chillaxing. Its Ramadhan spread for breaking fast & supper are great. The evenings were entertained by singers from AF. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was a little dated, but I slept okay. Overall I'd rate my stay at the hotel location was a little above average.
My stay here was for a week ...the hotel and it's rooms are beyond perfect ..they are beautifully furnished and has all the amenities one could ask for ...with very kind and pleasing staff and amazing breakfast presented at the hotel restaurant it makes me want to visit the hotel once again ...do plan your stay here confidentially and I'm sure the hotel will not leav you disappointed
I am writing this review based on the hotel 4 stars rating. Stayed for one night on 10th June 2017 in a deluxe room for RM290 net with buka puasa buffet and sahur for two persons. I booked directly with the hotel website and no prepayment was required. Chose this hotel as my Muslim friend wanted to do shopping at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. I arrived at the hotel about 1 pm and was attended by Ms Hana. She told me my room was not ready and came back at 2 pm to check in. At the same time, I could see that other guests got their room keys. I waited for 30 minutes and asked again if I could check in. She told me again my room still not ready. Then, I asked her which floor is my room located and she told me on level 10. I questioned her why other guests got their room keys and she said they were also waiting. In a Ramadan month, she could tell lies straight to my face, it is kurang pahala for her. I went up to level 10 and didn’t see any housekeeping making up any room on level 10. Finally, I waited until 2 pm and queue again to check in. Many guests had already got their rooms. I got my room on level 7. Why she wanted to reserve the first room for me on level 10 when other rooms were available in the first place? Also, I booked the lowest type of room. The room didn’t require access card to switch on the power. I could see stained on the carpet, old furniture, wall paint peeling and dust on the phone and tables. Also, the room didn’t have a safety deposit room. Do note that not all the deluxe rooms have bathtubs as mentioned on the hotel website. The bathtub could not be used as the stoppage could not close properly. Also, the upper and lower water tap flowed together when showering. The TV remote had no battery and had to call the housekeeping to change. TV had limited Astro channels i.e. Ria, Fox Sports, Discovery Channel and Fox Movies. Also, request for toothbrushes and made a total of three calls but nobody bother to send. On a positive note, the room was huge. The beds and pillows were new and comfortable. Also, there was sejadah and iron board in the room. The biggest joke came when the lift was out of order at night. I came back about 12 midnight and found out the lift was not working. Waiting for an hour and decided to walk up to my room using the emergency staircase. The staircase had no light and dark. There was even a mattress. Did the hotel pass bomba inspection? Why will happen if there is a fire hazard in the hotel? No explanation or apology from the hotel. Is this a 4 star hotel service standard? During my stay, I didn’t hear a word “welcome” or “thank you” from hotel staffs. In summary, I will not return for a second stay.
