just beside the hotel is the bus interchange and train station. just a 3 min walk and you are at chinatown with lots of good food. hotel is clean and spacious. staffs are friendly and courteous. will definitely stay there if going to kl.
It's OK. It's not bad. It's not great. It's OK. My room was clean enough. It looks pretty but it's very superficial. On arrival the receptionist told me I'd be getting a twin room rather than a double (despite requesting on booking). As I was travelling alone, it wasn't such an issue. I could have had a double if I was willing to pay for the upgrade to a superior room ('superior' meaning located on the floor above mine). I declined. The receptionists chilly demeanour was thawed with a smile or two. The room was OK. No fridge though, or safe. There wasn't much wiggle room with the aircon which which meant the room was either freezing or 'warm'. I opted for the latter. Finally, the wifi is atrocious. I didn't even bother and used my mobile internet instead. Overall, it's meh.
Could not recommend this place enough! We arrived at 9:30 in the morning after an 8 hour overnight flight from Melbourne with a toddler that hadn’t slept, our check wasn’t until 3:00pm but we thought we’d at least get rid of our bags. When the staff saw how exhausted our son was they got us in to a room straight away so he could nap. Couldn’t be more grateful, Kuala Lumpur was the first leg of our holiday and the staff at Geo Hotel got us off to a great start!
good housekeeping guy ( level 3). helpful and friendly. doorman was kind and friendly. Fn B guy was rude, apparently my order interrupted his online game. i ordered the promo ( it was displayed all over the hotel) milkshake n waffle for RM11. but paid rm13 ( promo old. when hotel opened) was the FnB gys's respond.
Very near to LRT and central market. Rooms are quiet small. But every room has windows. Central market is along side.I surely will stay if i visit again. Pasar Seni LRT is adjacent. A lots of Indian, Pakistani and Bangladesh restaurant.
We stayed for 2 nights. Located nearby Pasar Seni Lrt. One stop from KL Sentral, which is connected to KLIA Express. Located at Chinatown nearby to Petaling Street, nearby to various eateries. 24 Hrs texas chicken. Check in were relatively quick. Bed were comfortable, except with stains. Bathroom completed with basic amenities. Water heater works well. There is mini fridge, with kettle, with coffee and sugar. Have to frequently sign in for wifi. A good stay overall. Recommended. I wont mind for a return stay.
Bad WiFi (2Mbps/0.004Mbps average after 3 days), bad coffee, bad service and unfriendly stuff except for the door guy. Small rooms with no extras and not really clean even though it isn't dirty at all. It's very central but that's about all I can say that wasn't disappointing about this place. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Gets the two stars only because of its location.
Excellent location. 1 minute from metro station. Free bus stops right in front of the door. Chinatown and Little india, Central market - 2 minutes of walking. Merdeka square - 5 minutes. Boranical garden (Birds and Butterfly parks) - 10-15 minutes walking. Petronas towers - 30-35 min. walking. We were really happy to stay here because we could comfortably travel and explore KL. Clean and cozy room. Breakfasts available on the ground floor. Free Wi-Fi to share your excitement.
This was my second stay at this hotel and I can say quite emphatically it made my stay in KL very easy indeed for location to all that I wanted to do. It also has excellent rooms at value for money prices. Without doubt it is in an excellent location for all a tourist could want.
Its location is perfect for tourists. It's very well situated and doesn't break the bank. It's just across the street from Central Market and Kasturi Walk, a mere 200 meters from Pasar Seni MRT station, and a block away from Jalan Petaling. You can also get to the heritage areas quite easily from there. We stayed there for 5 nights and I couldn't be any happier. The accommodations are very basic but the rooms are clean and the room layout is well thought of. They provide daily complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea. Toiletries, towels (changed daily) and hair dryer are also inclusive. We booked the standard room. It was just the right size for 2 guests. I read some of the reviews prior to booking and most advised to get a room on the higher levels to avoid the noise from the streets. Very good advise. They do ask for a MYR 50 deposit even if you've aleady paid for your stay. You'll get it back when you check-out as long as you don't wreck anything in the room. :) Just do yourself a favor and don't book with breakfast. There are a lot of better and less expensive options nearby. I read somewhere that the restaurants is a concesionaire so I suppose that's the reason it sucks.
