Cons: Wifi in room was not working I had to come down to reception to use the wifi. There was also water dripping from the air conditioner. The hotel has 24 hours reception but the staff was not very nice, they were sitting talking to me. Pros: Near shopping centre, street food places. Overall, the price was a little high compared to the room and service we received.
Good location.Clean small hotel. Near MRT & LRT stations , cafes , restorans & Chinatown nite market. Excellent local food & beverage plus close to bus terminal to northern Malaysia towns. Banks & money changers are also close by. Central market is within walking distance. Starbucks , KFC , MacDonalds are 5 minutes walk away....
Its cheap! And that's about it. Reception was sarcastic, concerned more to her mobile phone, banging stuff here and there while processing my check in and check out. The worse was when I checked into the room and went to the toilet with a very bad pungent smell and to my irk noticed poop on the bathroom floor. That was it, I checked out soon after.
Booked same day we stayed. Fast and easy check in. Would have been cheaper if not for the 10RM tour tax. Door lock is broken., Can't be locked from inside, Good th there's double lock. The room looks old but towels and sheets were clean, no control for the ac. Its too cold sometimes we turn it off. This is a basic hotel, if on a tight budget, this is good choice. Plus location is in the heart of Petaling chinatown.
Thankfully the hotel is quite quiet to say it is located on the busiest street in China Town, the hotel is large so our room was far back which took us away from the hussle and bussle of the street. Good connection links near by - pudu sentral bus station and Pasar Seni train station. The rooms are nice and large however the room smelt musty and the aircon leaked when on. Good for backpackers on a budget if you're just looking for a place to stay for 1 or 2 nights. There was a strange situation when we checked in that a 'new law' had been put in place that you now have to pay 10MR tourist tax per night, I know this isn't much money but it should really be included in the room price, we had just arrived in Malaysia from Thailand and had to go exchange money just to be able to check in.
i was satisfied with the room assigned to me for 4 nights. good airconditioning unit, clean toilet and bath and clean sheets as am quite particular with the beddings. i didn't have any issue with noise given the fact that this hotel is right in the MIDDLE of busy Petaling Street. food and massage are just around the corner. special thanks to SHAFIKA and uncle (didn't get to ask for his name) for checking me in quite early on my first day. i had an early morning arrival from Kathmandu and the city was still asleep but you guys allowed me to check in and rest. T H A N K S.
We booked this hotel through Airbnb, it was the first time we had used Airbnb so we were expecting to stay in someone's home. We were disappointed to find out we were staying in a budget hotel instead. That said the receptionists were friendly, the place was clean and the price was cheap.
Extremely cheap accommodation. Was very surprised when we checked in to see how nice the room was. Clean room and bathroom in the heart of China Town. Close to everything. Staff was very nice at front desk and helped us with everything we needed. Good Wifi.
Budget hotel on the south end of Petaling street. Very good value, room was clean, bed was firm but comfortable, bathroom had fresh clean towels a bidet and air conditioning. We stayed 3 nights and the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the WIFI was free and worked well. Very quiet on the sixth floor, not much street noise at all. Would recommend and return again.
I've already book for this summer's layover and I'm glad to be going back. First of all, the room is clean and spacious which isn't always the case in kl. Furthermore the location, smack in the centre of Chinatown, makes a great atmosphere on your doorstep. There's plenty of food, drink and market stalls full of fake junk. Yet inside it's quiet and well equipped if you want to escape the bust streets. It was worth the money and only 3 minutes away from public transport, I'll be back soon.
