Transportation cost $150 thb each way to and from ferry pier with cost increasing up to $300 thb if later than 3pm local time. Ride from main tonsai pier was about 26 minutes boat ride without considering time to wait for luggages being loaded onto the boat. Expect to get wet because you will have to enter and exit boat from knee to waist high ocean water depending on the tide. Limited availability for transportation to main town area. Lots of mosquitos and no air conditioner in all 4 beach front bungalows we booked. Random electrical blackouts, occurring at least 3 times daily. Water pressure is extremely weak, similar to less than the flow of a toilet being filled up. Had many conditions regarding towels, beddings, etc., such as extra charge for cleaning if sheets and towels were extremely dirty. Pricing for food was good, such as $500 thb for a whole fried fish. Check in reception person was like a manager/sales person. Pushed speedboat and excursions/tours sales even during checkin time. Were treated as not important guests once you don't book tours or agreed to buy dinner on the beach package with reception/sales manager.

I’ll begin by saying that I understand the property lists that they do not have AC, but it was worse that I could have ever imagined. They provide a fan in the room, it is a stand up fan that is probably 15 years old and barely works even on the strongest setting. There are cracks and holes all over the bungalow, making it impossible to keep the room cool even if the fan were to work. There were two windows in the bungalow but no screens so you were unable to leave to open at night for an extra breeze. The bungalow just becomes a stuffy sauna. We met other families that were leaving days before their reservations were done due to how terrible to sleeping conditions are here. The no warm water is great, a cold shower is the only thing that feels good in that heat. The view from the bungalow though is breathtaking, if perhaps you go at a “cooler” time of year this could be a real gem. They have options to rent snorkel gear on site, which we took advantage of. With a short swim out you are able to see coral and beautiful fish. There is a restaurant on site where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All the food we tried at that restaurant was amazing, some of the best in Thailand that we tried. Note that to get to the property you take a 30 min boat ride to the resort from the pier, so plan to spend most of your time at the resort exploring unless booking excursions or getting a boat ride to the pier. Lastly, all the staff was quite rude. Other guests stated the same.

Not confy at all it’s too hard to stay there and we couldn’t even stay there for one night

THIS WAS A VERY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE, BUT VERY NICE. PRIVATE BEACH. RESTAURANT ON PREMISES AND FRIENDLY STAFF. THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY FROM 7AM TO 6PM. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET AWAY FROM CIVILIZATION, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. VERY ROMANTIC. NO TV OR RADIO. MINIMUM WIFI.

Our stay at Phi Phi Relax was absolutely amazing. With that being said, I was not looking for a 5 star luxury resort experience. The only way to access the resort is via water taxi. You are likely to get wet on arrival and departure so plan your attire appropriately. The staff on arrival was amazing with assisting to load, unload, and transport luggage to your room. Check in was acceptable. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. You must me prepared for the fact that you will not have power during the day and will not have a/c at night (only a fan at night). The property overall was in great condition and well maintained. Our only complaint was the service at the restaurant. The food was very good and reasonably priced, but the main guy in charge of service did not have a good attitude and appeared disgruntled at all times. The other servers at the restaurant were friendly, but poorly trained in service.
