All staffs are very friendly and very peaceful resort just like the name of the resort. Wonderful view and fantastic service. A special thank you to Jane. Highly recommended to all its a cheap, clean, nice and friendly resort near the beach area.
The resort really live up to it's name. We found peace and quiet, wonderful friendly staff and excellent apartments. We stayed in a deluxe villa and enjoyed the comfort, cleanliness and environment. The outdoor shower and the nearby pool area was cream of the cake. The only flaw was the slow and unstable WiFi.
Having stayed at 6 hotels in Thailand this year this was a little disappointing compared to all the others. Location is good and staff were lovely but the room we had (having upgraded) felt dark and dusty. Didn’t enjoy the stay here for the 3 nights and throughout the whole day the construction noise coming from the builders right outside our room was a nightmare. When I expressed my disappointment I was just told that it finishes at 5pm so at least it’s not all day. Also, the house keeping staff did forget to make up our room despite requesting it, had to phone reception to chase it up. Wouldn’t stay here again but it is okay if you’re looking for average value for money.
First time visiting Krabi and I could not have picked a better hotel! Staff were extremely friendly (especially Kim) and the food at breakfast had a good selection. They even offer complementary tea and fruit at 4pm every day. Everywhere you walk in the resort has a beautiful view and the environment is really relaxing. Yes there was some construction but it really wasn't that bad. Rooms were very spacious and clean - some mosquitoes do make it through the door, so definitely recommend buy spray! The location is the best thing about the hotel - everything is on your doorstep, lots of food choices and the beach is a quick 5 min walk (when you use the cut through). This is definitely my favourite hotel out of all the hotels I stayed at whilst in Thailand - definitely recommend!
Staff was very helpful. We had problems with our reservation but the staff quickly cleared it up and checked us in. Kim was particularly helpful is answering all our questions. Fantastic breakfast. Spacious bungalow overlooking the lagoon. Free massage in the lobby. Great pool.
We really enjoyed our stay at peace Laguna Ao Nang. Close to everything and the beach. Super nice room and extremely helpful staff gives this review full score. We will return to this hotel for sure if in Ao Nang Again.
We were looking for a relaxing easy going place and we found it at Peace Laguna. Great staff that went out of their way to ensure the guests needs were met. The cottages were spacious and very comfortable like a home away from home. The pool was also really nice although we did not try it out until the last day.
We stayed here for four nights during our holiday and wished that we'd skipped Ao Nang after the first night. The hotel was nice and the room was large, however the wifi wasn't very good, and sitting outside we needed to wear lots of bug spray, we got bitten here more than anywhere else on our trip (but I guess that's what we get for staying at a hotel with a huge lagoon...). By the end our our stay an army of small ants had taken up residence in our bathroom which was also off putting. The resort itself was nice and the three pools were great to spend the days by. However once we left the resort we were chased down the street by non-Thai's trying to lure us into their restaurants, or massage shops. It was so stressful that I wouldn't recommend visiting, especially with a family. There are so many other wonderful places in Thailand were you are not treated like a walking dollar sign.
The grounds here are nice, and we love the pools and outdoor shower, but we have multiple complaints after only staying one night. The key cards failed multiple times - so we kept having to go back to the receptionist. Heavy construction literally right outside our hotel door with loud machines. They have a sign for complimentary water but gave us none and charged us for the one we used (even when we told the receptionist we weren’t given a complimentary bottle - it wasn’t expensive but so unprofessional that they refused to come us a bottle). There is a back gate to the beach (through construction zone) that they close and we had to climb the fence to get back in (creeks prohibit easily walking around). I hurt my ankle on the fall down. Overall - avoid!!!
Ao Nang is definitely a place worth visiting in Thailand. We stayed at Peace Laguna and it was the nicest place in our whole two week trip. We booked for three nights initially and extended another two nights. The staff are so lovely, especially Kim. The food is great and the pools are amazing. The setting is so beautiful next to the cliffs. We would definitely return.
