This place was one of the worst places we stayed in on our month in Thailand backpacking! We spend €150 on 3 nights. For us that is a lot as we have a budget! When we arrived the entrance was amazing but then you come up to this run down battered ghost town hotel! Where no one speaks English and they are all day taking selfies! They barely care that you are there! Our room was horrid! Hard bed. Air con did not work, safe did not work, sink always got blocked! Water leaked out of the roof in the bathroom and off the air con! The pool was full of leaves and dirty! All 2 of them! There is not 3 pools, the third one is for private guests but it’s literally a stream of water! The pool bar on the main pool was filthy there was dirt splattered up the wall and the staff all day on there mobile phones. The resort guy who took us 1 Minuit down the road charged us 300 bhat when a normal tuk tuk would only charge 50, The breakfast is 250 bahts but it’s mostly noodles and rice but it’s always very cold. I paid 7€ to eat cerial every morning. I do. Or complain normally because I’m a backpacker But this place was a disgrace

The room was fantastic and the front desk staff were really helpful. We got a beachfront room and you could literally hear the waves from the beach while you were laying in bed. I loved it. After travelling all day to get there it was a breath of fresh air to arrive and be able to relax. The way the room was set up, you could open the drapes and see the ocean from bed. Great way to see the sun come up and to feel like you were in Thailand in the country on and island. We did stay next to a family and you could hear the baby crying once in awhile but not a big deal. The porch had a hot tub that you could use and rest and relax your body if you wanted but I found out the mosquitoes were out that night so it cut short my enjoyment. There was a mosquito net over the bed in the room but we never used and never really had a problem. I did a quick sweep of the room before bed to check for mosquitoes and only found 2 the whole time that we stayed there and those came in when we opened the sliding door or from the giant shower room. Not a big deal at all. I really enjoyed the room and the housekeeping was fantastic... they really did a great job. The main pool was great and you could see the ocean from there. It wasn't crowded at all so we enjoyed a lot even when it rained and everyone else disappeared we swam. They have one restaurant, its open for lunch and dinner and the prices are so cheap and the service is good and all the foods we tried were great. Was our first time to try all of the Thai dishes and Thai beef and how can you go wrong almost sitting on the beach and enjoying lunch and dinner. Whoever made the cocktails, they were the best that we had in Thailand so we ordered whatever we wanted and enjoyed all. Thank you to the entire restaurant staff. Don't bother going out cause this place is good enough to enjoy, we only had Thai foods but they did have European foods. I was so surprised that the laundry was so cheap and so good at the resort that we didn't need to go out just they did in house and did a great job. Breakfast buffet was good, its not huge and it doesn't have to be, I found that either the eggs or the daily taste was strange for me so I just avoided those items and breakfast was really good with nice ladies working there. Was glad to get it included in our package. We stayed 4 days and everyday was good, we booked a elephant trekking, waterfall hike and kayaking package that was done from the tour desk and it was a lot of fun. We walked the entire long beach and it was a lot of fun and relaxing and checked out al the other resorts in that area and we chose the best one for sure.. We walked into town to get some shampoo, conditioner and a shaver and found a nice little mart to get some supplies and snacks and some Thai beers to have in our room. We got bottled water from the front desk and the entire stay was really good. I recommend this place for sure

great place superb breakfast , nice friendly service.. went in off season so the beach wasnt at its best or the weather but really enjoyed it.. the rooms are big and comfy we had a lovely quiet stay , staff always ready to help and transport to the pier

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a 7 night stay on Ko Lanta good size room only problem balcony was made up of cement rocks therefore unable to walk on it without shoes even with hurt feet and very noisy air conditioning otherwise well worth the money

This was our last hotel in Thailand and after 6 hotels in 3 weeks we were a bit unimpressed but the guest room we had was very large and looked onto a pool. Staff seemed a bit stressed. The whole area seems a bit depressed economically. In the international breakfast buffet there were several signs threatening to fine tourists who left food on the plate. The selection and quality was average. As a Muslim area and/or resort, no bacon. The beach front bar and restaurant were pricey so we always walked over to other restaurants. I think if the resort charged less they would get enough traffic to make up the difference. We saw a lot other people from breakfast eating offsite too. Lots of tourists from Sweden and Finland. Beach area was nice and not too busy. No loungers for the beach. Could be so much more than it was when we visited.

I am currently staying at Lanta Resort, here for 2 days on my honeymoon. The hotel is almost empty as it's off-season this time of year and the staff don't seem to be too bothered about making sure that the only guests they have are having a good time. Pool and bar staff particularly unfriendly and more interested in watching TV than helping guests even if you go up to them and ask questions, probably due to communication barriers.

Been there for a week during green season, caught sunny weather on the first day and one more day but really enjoyed our staying. Good villas with sea view just few steps from the sea. Accommodation was amazing, clean and with warm atmosphere. Staff at the reception was friendly and recommend some places to visit for us. Next time we'll stay there again.

We have stayed at the hotel for 14 days. It's a really nice hotel, the breakfast buffet is great with different food every day with a stunning view. All the staff is really nice. The cleaning lady we had was just so sweet and left us with towel art every day. They have massages here as well. The pool is the only negative thing, as it is a little dirty unfortunately. Even though it has been mentioned to them numerous times it still has not been completely cleaned but at least it's better now than at first. Stuff like that doesn't happen over night. But we have really REALLY enjoyed our stay here and we wouldn't be reluctant to come back. They have tons of cute animals here like lizards, frogs, cats and snails haha. They clean the common areas very well, so there is clean everywhere you go. A great stay!

We booked this hotel at short notice. When we arrived the reception area was pretty grubby. Our room was in the superior hotel however there was nothing superior about it apart from the noise. We could not sleep due to the noise from a local pub/club which went on until 3am. We asked to move the following day and were told we needed to pay extra. We were showed the room which was not great and smelt very musty. We declined. The breakfast was so basic. Really not good at all. The hotel was very tired looking. Our room was clean and so was the pool toilets. The beach is beautiful. Would never go back to this hotel though

Room was unacceptable! There were mosquitoes flying round the room & no net on the bed. Room very tired looking , tv was from the 1990's , air con looked about 35 years old aswell as the safe deposit box did & that didn't even work so couldn't use this so lucky we only stayed for one night! Asked reception for a tuk tuk to come to our part of the hotel to take us to a restaurant as was raining hard & all I got was I know it ms raining come to reception which I thought was disgusting! I asked to pay cash for room & he took it off my card aswell before I made him put it back on my card. Totally unorganised & will never stay here again
