A lovely hotel with everything you need. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We were on the srcond floor overlooking the pool and it was amazing. We came in low season so was nice and quiet and practically had the hotel to ourselves. The restaurants served good food. And the reggae bar is percect for a drink and sunset. Afternoon tea is a nice way to relax. Buffet breakfast is great with lots of choice. Would definitely stay here again Thanks

I've absolutely loved my stay at this resort, and would recommend it to anyone! Great location, very quiet, helpful and friendly staff, amazing ocean views and a beautiful private beach. The private pool villa was luxurious and so much more than i have expected! The breakfast buffet, my favorite part about hotels, didn't let me down at all, it was amazing. A lot of choices in order to please any nationalities. I especially loved the banana pancakes, made in front of you. There was also an afternoon tea everyday, for only 3 dollars you could get an all you can eat buffet of delicious Thai pastries and sandwiches. Thank you for an unforgettable stay and I hope I can be back very soon in this paradise!!

This Resort was simply perfect for what we were looking for, a relaxing and romantic holiday. Located in a private peninsula on the north of the island, it was quiet and peaceful, and we also loved the private beach. We were at the private pool villa, which was amazing! A stunning view over the ocean, a comfortable bed, complimentary fruits, coffee and tea, away from the crowd. Simply perfect! The breakfast buffet was also to die for. One of the best I've had in Asia, with so many choices you don't know which ones to choose! It had its very own egg station, as well as pancake and waffle station. There was also fresh fruit smoothies everyday, and delicious french pastries. We highly recommend the Infinity spa, were we had a great oil massage. The service was very good, the staff was attentive and always willing to help. There also was a golf car service to move around the resort. The front office can arrange tours for you which was very convenient. We can't recommend this Resort enough!! Amazing quality-price relation!

First of all, let me just say that I really wish that I would have reasons to rate this resort much higher then I have done, unfortunately that was not possible. The resort itself is set in a very nice secluded part of the island, yet very close to Sala Dan, because it is spread over the hill, some villas and resort restaurants have stunning views over the ocean. We have stayed 7 nights in private pool villa and I could not get enough of that view. Villa is designed very well with separate living area, big bedroom and very large bathroom. Outdoor area and the pool also design well, with an open air shower. Reasons for low rating: 1. Extremely poor customer service. Very far from your usual warm and friendly Thai hospitality, and definitely not what you would expect from a 4.5 star resort. I have never experienced more unhelpful, unfriendly and unprofessional front desk employees at any hotel or resort that I have ever stayed before! When you walk in to the lobby, no one even bother themselves with acknowledging you or smile or say hello, unless you ask for their attention, and even then it's as if they have been interrupted from something important and doing a massive favor to you by acknowledging you. On the first day of our stay we have realized that there is an issue with our pool lights and we can not use the pool or outside area in the evening because it is just pitch dark outside. After number of calls and face to face conversations with front desk members, the issue remained unresolved and completely ignored for the next 2 days of our holiday, until we have addressed it directly to the resorts general manager (who have resolved it professionally and in timely manner) but we have lost 2 nights out of our holiday that we could've enjoyed by the pool in our villa. We do understand that it is a low season, and we have been reminded of that daily by different staff members as an excuse on their behalf, but the fact that it is a low season does not mean that guests can be ignored, neither it makes our holiday less special for us. We have been looking forward for our holiday (which technically was our honeymoon) and unfortunately our circumstances allowed as to travel only during low season. I would like to mention staff members who did make us feel welcome and who have very good understanding of what customer service should be: Sak, Maew (water) and curtesy bus drivers - thank you!! 2. Very poor food quality and very low hygiene standards of food handling by kitchen staff. I have witnessed on daily basis how at the egg and soup station, members of kitchen staff touch their hair, use mobile phone or sit on the ground and then start preparing your choice of eggs when you come up to them without washing their hands or wearing gloves. The quality of the food in the resort is very poor and after number of attempts of having meals within the resort, we had no other choice but to have melas every day in the village instead. 3. Wifi connection that resort is offering is extremely poor with a need for constant log-in every 15 minutes (not after 1 hour being inactive as said in welcome letter). Probably would be better off if wifi is not offered to their guests at all. We experienced far better wifi connections at local restaurants and shops within the village, without the need to re-log in at all. 4. Water pressure in the shower is so low that every shower was literally a struggle. Also, it is not a complaint, but just a warning - the shower is located within a spa bath, which potentially can make getting in and out of the shower very dangerous for those who are less mobile or physically restricted. As I have mentioned at the beginning, resort itself, design of the villa, location - all great, but the management of the resort and its employees, their customer service and quality of the food - that's what needs to be improved dramatically in order for this resort to be on the same level with other 4.5 star resorts or in order to claim to be one.

I have never been better resort than this one! It has almost everything: the peaks restaurant with ocean view, swimming pools, private and public beach, regy bar and many other things! Rooms are from simple tills very amazing ones 360 degrees view:) Staff are friendly and simple. In reception you can book many daily activities for reasonable price! Just, if you go there, look very carefully, because rooms prince depends of the time of the year:) can be twice cheaper or vice versa:) Have fun and relax:) All the best

I stayed here in June 2017 for 4 nights in a Deluxe Pool Access Room. The room was well kept and clean and everything worked. All the essentials are there, minibar, a/c, flat-screen TV, a DVD-player. The Access pool is right there by the room patio. It's a big L-shaped pool located in a shallow hillside by the garden area. The patio was furnished with comfy chairs and a table set plus two sunbeds. At this time of the year and most likely due to low season it seemed there was only little occupancy in these rooms, so this pool was mostly quiet during my stay. There is another large pool and a pool bar on another side of the resort close to the Cliff restaurant, where you can also get to the private beach down the steps. The employees of the hotel were very attentive, polite and friendly, always asking how is everything going and would there be anything that I would need. I enjoyed watching the sunsets at Reggae Bar. The Cliff restaurant is a good place for little lunch in the afternoon hours. Breakfast was served on daily basis at The Peak restaurant, which was bountiful and full of both Western, Asian and more exotic choices. The hotel provides free transport to Saladan. The shuttle runs on a schedule so plan accordingly. They also have bicycles available, it takes about 10 minutes with a bike to the town. There are all the basic services such as banks, pharmacies and a 7-Eleven. Overall a very good choice if you are going to Koh Lanta. I would highly recommend this hotel if you love nature, sunsets and peaceful environment.

Myself and my daughter recently stayed at the Crown Lanta. I was lucky enough to win 2 nights accommodation and we booked a third night. The general manager greeted us on arrival and we felt very welcomed and well looked after. The hotel is fabulous and our deluxe elegance room was gorgeous with fantastic views of Phi Phi Island. The hotel is build into the cliff landscape and they have shuttles that you can call from you room to take you up to reception, or down the the pool and Reggae Bar. The pool was lovely and the Reggae Bar was very chilled and cosy. The food at the hotel was good and although more expensive than outside the resort, I felt was still reasonably priced. The hotel also has a shuttle to take you down the road to the small town. There isn't a lot in the town but there are a lot of nice restaurants floating out on the water. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a bit of R&R and believe it to be good value for money.

I was very pleased with the quality of the property and the friendliness of the staff. We were there during "low season" and some of the tours and activities were not available (long tail boats, yoga), but we enjoyed our stay. The spa is is full service, very reasonable, and great staff. Don't miss the sunsets at the Reggae Bar!

Beautiful room with an amazing setting. Fantastic view of the pool, ocean and surrounding islands. Breakfast included was wonderful, and the view breathtaking. The staff were friendly and helpful except the pool bar. We were there during low season and when trying to get a drink from the bar the unfriendly bar tender was clearly not happy to see us, then over charged us for a second drink because the first one was wrong. The rest of the friendly staff made up for the pool bar during our experience though. Private beach was great, and the shuttle too and from the room was perfect. Close to town with a quick free shuttle. We enjoyed the reggae bar was very nice to enjoy a finish to a perfect day. We would return and have already told many travellers to come here.

My stay in the Crown Lanta was extremely enjoyable. Upon arrival they upgraded my already great room to an ocean view large room. The staff were very kind and spoke english very well and were accomodating to any requests. Everybody else I spoke to staying in the resort, were loving it also. The included breakfast was great, with so many hot/cold & Thai/ western choices and items cooked to order also. everything was perfect thankyou Crown Lanta
