Everything was amazing with this hotel. the property itself is just beautiful. as always the service in the hotel was excellent, everybody is always so polite and smiling at u and say hello all the time. the breakfast was excellent and so was was the coffee that they make u. nothing to complane about as far as the rooms and the location. the pool was a lot of fun and the bar inside the pool was GRATE - and so was our favorite bartender Wang. the bed was amazing. just perfect!
Railay is an interesting place with big differences between east and west. This hotel doesn’t have a swimmable beach or stunning ocean views from the rooms but it does have a great view from its well designed pool and above all the customer service here is top notch. The manager Tony was extremely friendly and accommodating. All of the staff were constantly smiling and seemed genuinely happy to go out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. The restaurant was excellent for any meal and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast had a variety of food and was included in our room price. They also included an incredible New Year’s Eve celebration complete with fire dancers and fireworks. It made our New Years one to remember!! This hotel is a 2-5 min walk from railay beach (railay west) or a 5-10 min walk from phra nang beach, but is situated in railay east away from the chaos. The only downside is that there were a lot of bugs and the mosquito net didn’t do enough to keep them out but I don’t blame the hotel for this as it comes with the territory when staying in Railay. Would stay here again on a return trip. Cheers.
It was my first Thailand trip and I was with few friends. After Phuket, it was Krabi where we planned to go, to enjoy the overall natural bestness. Owing to the last minute bookings, our choice for Bhu Nga Thani was a hasty one so I didn't really know what to expect. On our arrival, we had to go from Krabi main base to a port via a bus (25 minutes ride) and then take a paid ferry (beautiful ride) from the port to Railay (5 minutes ride) where the resort was located. So basically, travel between Railay and Aonang isn’t as smooth but it might suit many who are looking to hide away from the crowd. So if your trip is centralized and restricted to Railay, then Bhu Nga Thani is a great option. I arrived at the Railay port, walked for 5 minutes to reach the beautiful resort. We received a warm welcome from the service staff, and were served with welcome drinks and wet towels to freshen ourselves up. I walked in the premises and realized that the place was meant for relaxation. It had an amazing Spa, beautiful plantations around, a great swimming pool with an attached bar. The resort wasn’t one with tall towers with sea-view rooms that stood tall against the waters. Instead it was a cozy one, I realized this when we were shown our rooms, most of the rooms were on the ground floor, so I wasn’t expecting any great views out of the window. When I entered the room, it seemed to have most of the amenities that a typical luxury hotel should have. The bathroom area was a big one, the shower area and toilet were separated by a mega sized bath tub which was meant for couples to relax with some booze and music around. There were few plug points in the room and the socket was different from what you would typically be used to, so it would be smarter to carry an international adapter. The Railay beach was a 10-minute walk from the resort and it was beautiful. We spent some great time there and were back to the resort by late evening. There is a belt of a small market by the resort where you can buy essentials and convert foreign exchange. 10 minutes away from the resort (by the beach) there are some great restaurants. I visited an Indian restaurant which looked pretty famous among the Europeans there and we loved the food too. Our trip was focused more towards Phi Phi so travel was a tiny bit of a problem as it was both, time consuming and expensive. But it’s a great resort if you are planning to stay in Railay.
The hotel is located in a perfect place in Raily beach. 5 to 10 min walk to the main 2 beaches nearby. Good breakfast, large rooms, clean and friendly staff. The spa is very pleasent with reasonable prices. The Raily beach area, in general is a very quite place with almost no attractions exept the beach and quite...no good restaurants exept in the hotels.
Was here in march 2017, the stay was perfect, friendly staff, room was great to be on railey, breakfast was good, well located at railey east walking distance to everything from the nice beaches in railey west and phra nang, and the bars at east. pool area is nice, did not try the resturant at night.
We spent 4 beautiful nights in this charming hotel with our children and grandchildren. Our morning breakfasts overlooking the sea were a delight! The area is really beautiful and being in a hotel where one feels completely at home just adds to the enjoyment. Special mention for Tony, the manager who made sure that we were pampered at all times! Beautiful swimming pool where the kids enjoyed yummy banana shakes at the bar. Recommend!
I went to had dinner with my friends, the waiter treat me so bad and he looked not willing to service me i guess cause I’m asian ana tanned skin go with white ppl. Maybe he sick or something go wrong. I was so upset that night. I guess he is the manager of restaurant at the hotel. I can not choose to be white, black or asian but i talked to you so polite. I hope one day i will go to eat there again and he will smile to me or don’t roll his eyes or make a moody to me.
Excellent and pampering hotel. We took a room with a private pool and everything was excellent. The service above and beyond, the staff at the hotel are always courteous and willing to help. The hotel dining room serves as a restaurant at noon and in the evening the food is good and the prices are a bit high but definitely worth. The hotel is highly recommended for couples on honeymoon.
Wow - what can I say about the hotel and the team who work here? Stay here for the most incredible stay for peace of mind, you are in such safe hands. Hands down the best stay I've had at a hotel in years. The location is beautiful, the setting is spectacular, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed and the staff were so attentive and friendly. We stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant 2 nights. The food is delicious and the cocktails are great! It didn't bother us that it rained during our stay as we were relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. What topped our stay off was that the reception staff helped us when we had a crisis with our home-bound flight. They called the airline and waited on hold for 40 minutes to help resolve our issue and got us home! That's not all, I left something in my room on our last day and emailed them. Within 30 minutes, they had responded and sent their driver to the airport to deliver my items. Now that means they put it on the next boat and their driver picked it up and drove to the airport, as Railay Beach is not accessible by car. I was so overwhelmed and could not believe it. Thank you to the staff here
