The hotel is not bad but the personal in general is awful. This hotel should definitely talk to the thai guy who was at reception the night of July 23th. He was The most rude and stupid person i met in thailand. Not make any sense as a recepcionist. I would NEVER come back just because of him.
Stayed in room A105 which is the pool access room. Room was big and spacious with firm king size bed. The extra bed which is almost like a lounger at the side was very small. More suited for small children. Was ok for me as it was for my 6 year old. The balcony which is facing the pool comes w 2 sun lounger and a small table. Very comfy altho the towel from receptions stinks quite a bit. So would recommend to just use ur in room towel. Theres a lot of mosquitos at night so buy a mosquito coil from the nearby supermart. Theres stairs leading to the pool fm the balcony and this room leads to the deepest part of the pool. So beware for small children. Theres extra surcharge fr children above 3year old. We paid abt 300thb per night. Buffet breakfast was ok altho we wr served ala carte on our last morning due to low occ. No issue w hot water shower or bathtub. Toilet was clean and housekeeping kept our room clean daily. They wr also fast to send extra towels up. All in all great hotel!
The hotel is in a good location - close to 2 beaches. Ao Nang is further away which is turn left at the end of the road and is nicer beach by far. The room was nice, big in size and clean. Only thing was the smell of old wood which didn't disappear in the 3 nights I was there. Wifi is slow and its normal as their connection is slow so not an issue as I bought their Local sim card which gives me 5 days free wifi and alot faster... 7-11 and their family mart is just on the left and right side of the hotel.... I like the location as it is away from the crowded streets of Ao Nang which you can take a tutu back for 50 baht per person if you are tired of walking...many massage parlour around the hotel so not to worry if it is crowded.... The only down side is that every morning there is this family with children which will be screaming around at 7 plus am in the morning which woke us up..... The hotel upgraded us to a bigger which was the best thing ever and believe it is due to low season during the visit.....it was near to Kodam restaurant which is my fav place to go for lunch and dinner but require abit of effort to find it if you do not have a local sim to access google map.....
The hotel is in a good location - close to 2 beaches. The further away one (turn left at the bottom of the road) is the nicer beach by far. The room was nice, good size and clean. Only thing was the smell of dampness which didn't disappear in the 6 nights I was there. Not sure if it was the air con or something. On the topic of air con, it was VERY noisy so perhaps take ear plugs if you're bothered by noise when sleeping. The wifi absolutely does not work in the rooms. I asked about this an was told to only use reception wifi which of course only works at reception. What really let the hotel was the staff. The was extremely rude and disinterested. The were more concerned about being on their phones - which they were ALL the time - than doing anything else. I approached the desk one day as I had injured my eye and couldn't see properly and asked for a taxi to the medical centre. The girl simply pointed across the road to a tuk tuk and didn't say anything else. You had to stand at the desk for a few minutes before anyone bothered to look up from their phones and give you any attention - ridiculous. At one of point there was 5 girls all on reception just sitting looking at their phones. Probably wouldn't stay again. Much better options in the resort.
Good: Comfy bed, wifi strength was decent at Room 217 but you have to keep logging in each time you come back. They upgraded us to a pool view room which was nicer than a street-facing one. Quieter, and definitely more aesthetically pleasing when we opened the curtains in the morning! Our room was in a quiet wing, but not sure if it was due to the fact that it was low season. Nice pool. It is very near a good gym, Heroic Fitness Club, at the nearby Nagapura Resort. Lots of eateries nearby provided good options for days when we were lazy to head over to the main stretch. Short walk from Andy The Tailor! It's a little further from the beach - about 15mins walk, not 5-10mins as advertised. But it's quite an easy walk, so we didn't mind. Bad: The air conditioning unit was difficult to control. It was either too cold or too warm and this is a 1°C difference adjustment on the thermostat! The service is a little impersonal but it's fine by any standards.
My friend and I backpacked around Thailand for a couple of weeks and wanted to stay somewhere nice but not too expensive and Apasari Krabi definitely fit the bill! It was a very nice room with lots of space and great air conditioning! Pool was perfect for afternoon reading (it does shade over at around 3pm though) and the breakfast service was fantastic. It is in a great location and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the beaches at Ao Nang. The only downside to this hotel would be that the staff aren't overly friendly.
I stayed here in November 2016 with my partner for 2 weeks. After such a long journey we were pleased to have arrived. Check in was quick and efficient no problems what so ever. We were even upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor. We stayed in room 502 - which gave amazing views of the mountains and the pool was directly below us. Our room was fresh and clean and fridge was stocked daily with water and fresh fruit. The pool was clean and never over croweded. We stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis - however the breakfast werent that great and we decided after eating at the breakfast twice , to just go out and have a fry up at a local restaurant. The hotel is on a street filled with bars , restaurants and local ammentities such as a pharmacy and supermarket. Its in a great location with the beach only being a 5-10 minute walk a way. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Ive read a lot of reviews about WIFI being rubbish. Its not the case we never had any issues with it. Thank you to the staff for making our stay memorable :)
Location was great for us. About 10mins walk to main beach or 5 mins from other beach so good quieter location away from busy main strip. Walk to beach passes lots of tourist shops and a great street food market or a tuktuk is 100b or less. Rooms all face the pool, ours was a good size, spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were really comfy. Modern bathroom with large shower and bath. Pool is great, clean and sunny in the mornings. Restaurant has buffet breakfast which was decent although rather too warm. Staff were fine but not overly friendly compared to other places we stayed.
I had a really great stay at this hotel! To start with the good stuff, there's a whole bunch of shops and ATMs around this place, it's very centrally located and it's a maximum 20 minute walk to the farthest beach with the closest one being a 5 minute walk away. They're all pretty close. The rooms are very nice and I really do commend the housekeeping for cleaning our room consistently (almost) every day! Everyone is very friendly as well, all the staff are wonderful, they speak English and are there to help. The pool itself was very nice as well, and there was a restaurant which we didn't try. We stayed there for 6 nights and the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because near the end of our stay the housekeepers slacked off a bit and our rooms weren't as clean. As well, we paid about 25 dollars a night here, and we asked to extend our stay by 2 nights and they said they would only allow this if we paid over 50 a night which I thought was not necessary considering we'd been there for 6 nights anyways. Overall it's a great place and I would recommend it!
Check in was good and pretty fast, none of the staff were smiley though or very welcoming. My boyfriend said they all had "resting b@"!tch faces haha! Room was really nice & clean. The pool was too crowded the first day we couldn't get a sun lounger until everyone left and it started raining - no good. Same again the second day and today i had to watch from the balcony until someone left to run downstairs and get them. Seems to be full of russians, infact the whole of thailand is which isn't very nice as they all seem very rude! Wifi was terrible, so inconsistent and not safe to use. Its a system that people can hack into and spy on you - passwords emails etc. I had an email from hotmail saying someone has tried to login from an unknown device using my details but it wasn't me!!! A bit scary really.
