We spent one night at the hotel. We were upgraded to the highest floor. The location is very central-to the MTR ,to shops and restaurants and even the bus to Shenzen was opposite to the hotel. The room was small but practical. The staff was wonderfull especialy miss Ming Fong who helped us a lot. She came to our room with an answer to our question, she came with us to buy a ticket to Shenzen and was extremely helpful and attentive. We liked very much the hotel and we recommend it a lot
Never seen such a small room before.. there is no fridge and no space to even put your luggage.. when u open the luggage there is no space to walk at all.. toilet pathetically small with a super small sink that you couldn’t even wash ur face without splashing water all over the floor.. WiFi reception is v poor.. keeps coming on and off intermittently.. even TV signal also .. no space to walk at all so we sat on the bed to do everything else.. be it eat to pack etc.. the room is only 13sqm and we requested to upgrade to bigger room which cost HKD100 more per night for additional 2sqm.. only two working lifts and the receptionist is situated on the 1floor so when u reach that is G level and u need to take a lift up to 1st floor just to check in and get ur keys and squeeze with a whole lot of pple.. no pantry no cafe .. with such a price u can easily get a better hotel elsewhere.. the door is so thin that u can hear what is happening outside.. got lousy neighbors that kept banging the door at night that kept us awake most of the time.. the only good thing I would say though is the MTR is just outside the hotel within 20 steps.. other than that.. can’t think of any other benefits .. my friend booked this accidentally without looking at the poor amenities and size of room.. so for those who just look at proximity to MTR and price.. u can get better one with slightly better pricing that’s all..
You can get all you need in this very compact design hotel where to most it may be a single bedroom size but they made it for two. Toilet wise, clean and easy to use. You have everything you need from cloth hanging robe to hand towels. Bright and clean, easy to clean too. Windows are clean and also safe since it is double layered as i checked it and saw their window glass aren’t the normal standard ones. You even get your mini safe box just above your bed headboard. If you’re looking for a bigger room size or you’re bigger in size, than you might want to reconsider. Other than that, trust me everything is well designed and set. Wall sound proof is good too because some of my previous experiences were wall sound barrier issue where midnight coughing next door may be an issue. Location, very good, lots of local restaurants just next door, less than 3 minute walk to nearest subway station, convenient stores are nearby too, so on. All good. It gets a little messy at times due to the horse racing outlet just next door.
A clean, modern, and well-located hotel just a stone’s throw away from Yau Ma Tei Station’s multiple exits. Good local food choices nearby. The comfort level was only tolerable, as neither the bed nor the room temperature was that great. The room layout was practical and helpful, all things considered. They had basic toiletries, a hairdryer, a safe, but no fridge. Not outstanding but quite good overall.
the room are very good the hotel personal was excellent. the location was super good close to restaurants, subways and shopping mall. the zone is very safe. the most that i like was my room cleaned everyday.
Small but clean rooms with good location, less than 5 minutes walk from the subway. One road away from Nathan road and close to night markets and restaurants. WiFi speed could be improved, check in process was smooth and housekeeping efficient.
My boyfriend and i went to HKG for a quick layover before flying back to SYD. After checking a long list of options where to stay, he decided and choose Inn Hotel. At first we were a lil bit of worried on how to navigate our way from the airport to the hotel since we arrived the country around 2000H. We decided to take the Airport Express-MTR. From the Airport----Tsing-yi Station----Lai King----Yau Ma Tei (about more or less 50mins). The hotel is few meters away from the MTR station, thus convenience is no question. Check in was super smooth. The room was good, small but perfect for couples travelling and will spend time exploring the city. Necessities were provided such as toothbrush, soap, shampoo and fresh towels. Our room doesn't have a good view of the city but it was okay. I read that some rooms with nice view has additional upgrade fees. Modern and cozy Before we retired to bed, we walked around the area to find something for dinner and to my excitement there were still a lot of food stalls, restaurants and retails brands open -- if you wanna go last minute shopping and grab something to eat even in the late hour of the night. The next morning, we checked out early and had our luggages deposited at the hotel. After roaming and spending few hours enjoying hongkong it is easy to just go back after check out time and claim luggages or things you don't need while exploring the city. On our way back to the airport, we decided to try the Cityflyer bus for experiences and to avoid the hassle of transferring stations. Few blocks from the hotel along Nathan Road is the A21/22 bus travelling straight to the airport. You need to alot at-least 45-50mins travel time. Over all.. Convenience Comfort Value for Money 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Generally, I think this is the 'better' choice within the Portland area - it is near the MTR, shops, food, electronics etc. Check in was a bit tricky as they have frontdesks at the GFu and 1st floor. tip: Upon check in, if you are asked to wait while they ensure your room is ready, don't wait to be called if the room is ready; approach the staff and ask. Bed, pillows and comforters were very comfy. tip: there is a card to place on the bed so housekeeping would know if bedding needs to be replaced. Check out was super fast (surprisingly). Great experience overall but could be better if staff is up-trained to improve English-speaking skills so that communication is easy especially there are lots of international travellers.
Clean and smart hotel very conveniently located for night market and MTR (2mins walk). Room wasn't big but cleverly designed, we were more than happy with it. Booked a discounted non refundable rate through booking.com and then received a free upgrade to a room with a view in 20th floor. Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations for the price
Stayed for four nights at the end of November while on a business trip. Didn’t realise that the hotel is located within the red light district until a local colleague told me about it. Not too bothered about it since I didn’t see/experience anything remotely close to sleazy so I would think that my stay was pretty much fine. 1) Location It’s damn right convenient because there are two MTR exits close by. The hotel is located between Exit A1 and B1 (or was it B2), and if you cross the road (just opposite Exit D) - you’ll find an elevator that takes you between street level and the station. Perfect for travellers getting to the hotel by train. Lots of food in the neighbour with Tsui Wah just round the corner and right outside Exist A1. An excellent location I’d say, if not for the fact that it’s within the red light district. On a separate note, while it is relatively safe in HKG, solo female travellers should take note to be careful when exiting from A1 after 10pm. Lots of shady persons (especially old men) hanging in the area. 2) Housekeeping Left a note for housekeeping with specific instructions not to move/adjust things in the room and they followed them to a T. Also, they were absolutely polite. Haven’t met anyone from the housekeeping team who didn’t have a smile or a friendly greeting, especially first thing in the morning. Thank you for keeping my room neat and for the fresh towels. 3) Service Nothing to shout about. Reception was cold as many have mentioned in earlier reviews. Didn’t have a smile for anyone but simply polite and almost robotic. 4) Room Absolutely tiny. While I got a double bed for a solo traveler, there was absolutely no space for me to open my luggage or any space to leave my (many) bags. There wasn’t a closet either, so you’d have to make do with the many hangers they provided. My biggest takeaway was the view from my room. Stayed on the highest floor and I always woke up to the nicest view during my stay. Would I return again? Maybe not, especially for the price I paid. It wasn’t really worth it.
