Stayed at the Michelangelo summer of 2017 with my girlfriend. Lets just say worth every penny!! Rooms were amazing with great views, very clean and spacious. The pools were also very clean and well kept. The staff took great care of us, always greeted us with a smile and provided excellent service. The food at the a la carte restaurant was exceptional. Order the seafood risotto which was delicious. Over all a great time, would definitely recommend and go there again next summer

Lovely resort to suit both young and young at heart. Very well appointed and although it is a bit pricey in high season, would definitely stay here again. Buffet breakfast is amazing with a fantastic choice. Rooms are comfortable, great views nice pools (though these do get a bit too crowded). Buses to town stop at the door and parking is good.

I want to find a fault. I cant. Everything was so very good. Staff deserve a mention, excepting one who has now been fired for being a pervert. Everything else is faultless. We found staff to be the highlight. Entertaining and fun. Food was good, not enough Greek food. However our waiters and bar staff directed us to so much fun. They even turned up later after they quit work with their families. Wonderful, as most Greek people are!!!

We had a fabulous time at the Michelangelo Hotel Resort & Spa, we have chosen this one as there was a great deal available at Voyage Prive. This was our late honeymoon and we got a superior room with sea view on the all inclusive package, this is a good deal with you mainly want to relax and stay at the hotel for most of the time. The room: spotless clean and the view was such a nice treat. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony watching the view. The only note I have is about the shower, not the greatest, it was in such an awkward position and not as powerful as I would expect, but nothing terrible. Pool: huge pool and what a view, however it's really cold, there is no way you can heat a pool that size so, take a deep breath and dive in. Beach: to be honest it was my favourite place to stay, the sea is so nice and calm, the beach bar was great and the girls are all so lovely and trying to do their best. Great place for an iced coffee in the morning and a cold beer in the afternoon. Get one of those shoes to use in the water because the pebbles can be quite painful, the sea is worth it, go for it. Restaurant: As part of the all inclusive package you get one dinner and one breakfast at the restaurant by the pool (I forgot the name!), that was really good, food and service pretty amazing. However, the other days you have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the same place, the food has a good selection and variety throughout the week. It is very clear that they try to serve you one drink and the second drink you kind of have to really call the attention of the staff so you can get service. I need to mention Stravos (I hope I am spelling this right) though, he was always very thoughtful and interested in how our stay was going, and trying his best to provide the best service, even though dinner service was so busy sometimes. If you are a foodie, you might enjoy going to town so you can have a meal at the great restaurants the town has to offer. We had loads of fun at the night at the bar, and we manage to relax so much. Overall he had a lovely stay and I think the hotel was perfect for our intention which was to mainly to relax and enjoy the sun and the beach.

Stated for 2 week summer holiday in August 2016. Party of 5 in 2 adjoining rooms. Rooms were tastefully decorated but one of our rooms was in average state for 5* resort. Had massive rip in net curtain over patio doors which staff did replace when we pointed it out, wallpaper was lifting from wall in places and furniture was chipped and in poor repair - one of the cabinet doors was broken and couldn’t easily be opened. All inclusive resort and on average food was ok. All meals buffet in main restaurant although you could book al a carte restaurant for dinner once per stay without extra charge. We ate there as birthday celebration and food was good. Buffet Breakfast was excellent, buffet lunch was good and buffet dinner was ok - bit hit and miss some evenings. Lunch at poolside restaurant was poor - extremely limited buffet and if you are from poolside menu it was additional cost - not what you expect for all inclusive. Bar service was hit and miss - if you paid healthy tips you got best service otherwise you could get ignored at times. Pools good although sun loungers hard to find from mid am onwards - no reservation policy which didn’t get enforced by staff. Beach stones and accessed by steps but water lovely and clear and calm which was great for swimming. Lots steps around entire resort so don’t recommend for anyone with disability or unable to cope with steep slopes. Had rental car which we used to visit Kos town several times - car essential if you want to leave resort. Would not return to this hotel.

Not worth the money! More of a 3* than a 5* hotel. The room we booked was a sea view room, which was facing another hotel complex with a little bit of sea view in between the buildings. The bath leaked and flooded the bathroom every time you turned on the shower. There were ants crawling on the floor of the bathroom too. There wasn't a lot of dish choices at the buffet to suit everyone and entertainment wasn't great. Inexperienced bar staff who dropped drinks on customers and mixed up orders then argued back. The pool is the biggest attraction this hotel has to offer, although it's really cold and no one uses it. Not happy with the hotel, not worth the money.

Definitively not a 5 stars hotel. I would rate it 3+ to 4. On the positive side, the pool area is just great, with a fantastic view on the sea. Great Infiniti’s pool. The beach is ok. The SPA treatments were very good. The food was fine. On the downside, the service was generally poor. We had to request another room since the first one we got had the sea vue masked by the building in front of us. The quality of the furnitures is very average, this will need some renovation ASAP. (we had a major bump in the wall next to the bed). Likewise for the bathroom, which are rather small btw. Some cushions at the restaurants and at the pool were highly damaged and most of them were dirty/soiled. Not a 5 stars standard, clearly. Finally, we had to pay 40 Euros for a later check-out, when actually the hotel was empty, closing a few days later and when we have spent an overall amount of around 1000 Euros of extra during our stay...

We were on the all-inclusive package and it was brilliant. Very little to nothing was excluded, excellent choice of food and beverages. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious enough, huge balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and willing to assist with all your needs. The pool is stunning although a lot colder than expected. I loved the fact you were only 15 minutes by bus away from Kos Town meaning you were away from the craziness but close enough to pop down if you wanted.

The Michelangelo Resort & Spa is a very nice hotel, which can be fully recommened. We enjoyed our 12 days stay very much. Nice buildings, nice rooms, there are a lot of nice views all over the hotel, where the blue sea is visible behind olive trees or the the infinity pool. The huge infintity pool is great and unique. :-) The bar beside the sea invited to have a drink while enjoying a nice clubsound music playlist. Best fresh mixed smoothies (drinks) for breakfast ever! Also to mention the fresh orange juice. Our Kids loved the fresh made pancake every day. Also the dinner was fresh and offered a lot of variety, which we enjoyed every evening. Just one Little thing to mention to improve: prices for water are very fair. Maybe capuccino and soft drinks during the day could be little bit cheaper. Thanks to Michelangelo Team for the great stay!

Had a wonderful week and it was very relaxing. Full credit has to be given to the staff who work every day, all day for the entire season. The bar staff didn’t stop moving each night and with only two servers, they covered a lot of ground. I have a nut allergy and the staff at the hotel could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Each night the chef walked through each item in the buffet and let me know what had nuts or not. I can’t tell you how much this meant and it made the dining experience so relaxing. The buffet food was very good and a variety each night. Lots of choice. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. But at a resort like this, you should not be spending too much time in the room :) Yes, the pool is not heated and it takes time to get used to the cold water. The view from the infinity pool makes it all worth it. One of the best views! There is a different vibe from the pool and the beach. The beach is quieter and more relaxing. The pool is a little more of party atmosphere but still fairly quiet. My main criticism is the pool staff allowed some people to play their own music by the pool (terrible music played over their phones, not good). We did complain to the front desk who said it should not happen but I guess the pool staff ignored that rule. It only happened for a couple of days but a five star resort should be shutting this type of stuff down right away. If you do have mobility issues, you may struggle here as there are lots of steps to get around. Overall, very good holiday and enjoyed it.
