MUST READ ***** The photos that trip advisor adds with the photos of the rooms are very u realistic because we booked a family room that looked nothing like the photos , and i understand that there would be some Changed from the room from the photos but this was a 2* room if that , and when we talked to the thompson tour rep she said that she had already have 6 complaints about the rooms ... so there not like the photos and i am very shocked it hasn't been brought up in other reviews . They said that there was no other rooms we could move into so we had to stay in the room we were given .. the restaurant was good and clean the food was very nice and the staff were the best part , in particular kitso and Irene were a asset to the hotel and if possible deserve some sort of reward or a bonus because of how amazing they were , all staff were lovely and very friendly but they really went the extra mile :) the pools are very clean and the building itself is very clean and very well thought it the rooms let the hotel down and its a shame cause the hotel is really good the bars and really well built and very classy (thats all bars) . Be very careful with booking with thompson also because we booked a "deluxe family room" and when we complained that it was a 2* she said does it have everything that it was described to have eg. 4 beds, a balcony, so you were pretty much caught out with that . The staff are all really kind. The drinks were made with too much alcohol in them to a point you didn't want to drink it , and if you told them to do it weaker you'd get just a few drops so there was no happy medium. The music is very good by the pool. The entertainment is good but there is no advertising of the shows anywhere so you just got to show up and hope for the best. Theres a midnight buffet and I enjoyed it mainly because i liked salad but if you didn't like salad you had no other choice there was only salad and the amount of people that walked in then back out is very large . But apart from that the hotel is good

Fantastic hotel, food is excellent but the staff make it a great experience always happy to help and always smiling. Special thanks to Angela, Amelia, Dimitros, Adella and bar manager Panagiotis for going the extra mile with their service. 😀😀😀😀😀

Just the beach was to full of stones and we didn`t spend much time on the beach, unfortunately.WE DID bring pebble shoes for the beach but they didn`t help very much. The Beautiful pools were very wonderful. We spent our time in the water there. The many stairs were a problem for me, but afterwards I was quite fit!! All the waiters and waitresses were very freindly and helpful!!

Lovely hotel with amazing views! Will definitely be going back. The room was spotless, staff friendly and food delicious! Lots of space for my partner to work while i chilled by the pool. The entertainment was excellent and not too tacky, they didn't mind if you weren't up for getting up and dancing. All inclusive dinners were tasty with 2 other restaurants to pick from which broke up the evenings. 10 min bus into town that was cheap and easy to figure out.

Beautiful resort, attentive staff, delicious food with great variety. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool, so never a rush in the morning to find one! I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting to fully unwind. Not a great deal to do on the island but we hired some electric bikes and went for a ride on one of the days which was fun. Also did the trip to Bodrum which I would recommend. Very reasonably priced. We enjoyed a relaxing ten days and wished we'd booked for longer!

Lovely girls holiday which was simply stunning. The hotel was gorgeous, very modern white furniture and clean. The hotel has recently been refurbished and our room was in the area of the hotel which has not been refurbished and it was still very nice which included a fridge and tea/coffee. Lovely balcony with a sea view. The hotel was like a mini village and there was a variety of different places where you can relax with comfy seats and sun loungers. There were three different pools they were all lovely and all had a bar next to them - Sometimes the waitresses came round and asked if you wanted a drink which was very nice. Two of the pools had a little pool for children (one of these had a play area next to it as well). Everyday (apart from Saturday) they have a stretch class and water aerobics which both last for 30minutes! I did both of these and they were both very good. You also have the option to relax on the beach, this is a pebbled beach so you may need appropriate footwear if you enjoy going in the sea. The water was very clear and it was very beautiful. Again the sun loungers were very comfortable. The all inclusive food and drink was very nice, the drinks were basic which included; long drinks, beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, tea/coffee (all very nice). The food was great which is buffet style with food from all over the world and a lot of variety this was served in the main restaurant. You can also book into the Italian and Greek restaurant in the evenings (book at reception 2 or 3 days before) this is served as a sit down three course meal. We ate at the Italian restaurant which was so lovely but not if you are lactose intolerant as everything has dairy in (this however will not be a problem in the main restaurant). The entertainment at the hotel was hit and miss (but it does depend on what yo enjoy) there was entertainment on every night including Greek night, DJ, singer, dancing and this was outside of the main bar. You We ventured out into Kos town a couple of times which was €1.60 one way (if you get your ticket from reception) €2 one way if you pay on the bus. In the day you can walk along the harbour or go on the beach which was very nice - there was also some nice gift shops (which were all very similar). There is some lovely restaurants on the harbour front we had a beer (€3.50) and a pizza (€7.80) reasonable price. We also went to Kos town in the evening there is a little strip of bars (5 or 6) which were all very lively, and are all fighting for your custom! We went into the Wild Bull the people in there were all very friendly. As the bus only ran until 2300 we got a taxi home which was €15. We went on a boat trip (thee island hop cruise) which included stopping off at two islands and having a look around and then viewing the third island from the boat but also having the opportunity to jump in the sea and have a swim. This trip was an absolute bargain at €20 which included lunch (chicken skewer and salad) but if you feel like you would like more to eat you can always grab something on one of the islands. There are a lot of boats which are all fighting for your customs and it's hard to choose as they all offer the same price and go to the same islands but they all looked very nice. I would recommend going to Kos harbour yourself and paying for the trip and not to go through your hotel as it was €35 through the hotel! This was one of my favourite days so I highly recommend going on a one of these trips. Lovely lovely trip and I would definately use this hotel. The staff were also very friendly including Irene and Ronaldo in the main restaurant and the male manager thank you all so much!!

My daughter and I stayed for a week at the end of May. We picked this hotel based on the great reviews - we were not to be disappointed in fact it exceeded all expectations. What an amazing place with first class caring, attentive and happy staff throughout. Beautiful stunning white buildings inside and out - ultra clean. Lush scented gardens. Fabulous food in all the restaurants - we booked and visited the Italian and Greek restaurants twice each during our stay both were equally as good. Stunning views over the sea and across to Turkey. Entertainment was good in the evening. Our only recommendation is that a few board games / playing cards would be a welcome addition to the library area. We just can't wait to come back

the ,allinclusive is verry good.people are friendly, evrything is verry clean, the a lacarte reit was restaurant areverry good ..there are enough beds by swimmingpool, strand ,towel sevice wehre perfect. teh holiday erhre perfect for my wife and me

I just loved to be at this hotel, all the people who worked there were so happy and kind! I just have a few tips. Me, i'm a pineapple lover. The only thing was there was a dish with just 8 slices of pineapple. I sometimes went to sit closer to the pineapple so when they brought a new plate i could have my pineapple. And i wasnt the only person who did this. And at the pools, the towels you could 'use' were always run out. I LOVED my stay at Dimitra Beach, and these are so little things, i just wanted to say them.

Not so good . Room service staff had no idea what I was asking for room was not clean for three day . I have go to local supermarket for loo roll. Towel was not change for three days again I have go in local shop for towel and it was 4* Hotel . Other not happy guest 😡
