We have just returned from our weeks holiday to Hotel Atlantis, Lambi. There were 6 of us in our party ranging from 23-50; Location Pros - Beach is literally on your doorstep and you can go to the pool bar to get all-inclusive drinks whenever you needed it. The beds are only 3 euros for the whole day but you can just lie on a towel too :) - The sea is so clean and calm, one of the best beaches/seas I have been - Lambi has a few bars to choose from if you want a low-key evening. I would fully recommend going to Flinstones bar which is 3 min walk from the hotel. It's happy hour until 10pm and the cocktails are really fresh and yummy! You also get the occasional free shot from the owners :) - Kos town is walkable and took us about 15 minutes. Alternatively the buses run every half hour and is about 1.5 euros. Last bus home is 12pm from Kos. We also enjoyed renting a bike for 3 euros and you could go wherever you wanted. Cons - Last bus from Kos is at 12pm - Beach can be pebbly and the prom at the front doesn't take you into Kos which is a shame - Not a lot of bars in Lambi but Kos isn't far away Hotel rooms We stayed in a bungalow type room and although they are not as modern as the rooms featured on the website, they were very clean and had everything we needed. Pros - The cleaners come in every day and will change your sheets, replace towels and mop the floor. - You also get a safe, plenty of wardrobe space and air-con. Cons - We didn't find a lot of plugs in the room to charge phones and the plugs can be hidden away! - Some of the windows failed to open - Aircon could only be put on when windows were all shut and key was put in the slot Hotel facilites Pros - The pool areas are among the biggest I have seen and you do not struggle to get a sunbed. You literally help yourself to a bed, position wherever you want it to be and put your towel down. The hotel also tidy the beds for you at the end of the day. - There are 3 pools, the main pool, games pool and kids pool. All good sizes and perfect for what you need. - You can take inflatables, play ball games etc. the hotel is really relaxed about this. - Animation team were really good in the day and you didn't feel like you had to take part. The Aqua gym and Zumba were especially good - We also really enjoyed the beach party - such a good atmosphere for the first night only wish they had more of them! Cons - Bar drinks are non-branded and not the best. You can have basic spirits in the day but have to wait until 7pm for a cocktail. Again, the cocktails weren't really made well and we decided to drink at Flinstones bar (down the road) as there's were much better - We didn't like the evening entertainment, perfect for young families but not older crowd. I thought they could benefit from bringing in acts from the island which we have seen in other hotels Food Pros - Food was fresh and always replenished which is good for a hotel of this size - The servers will always try and find you a table if you are looking a bit lost. - The restaurant is very clean and younger children have to be accompanied by an adult which makes it better Cons - Although tasty food, it did become very samey and I feel people would be bored staying for 2 weeks here. - The pool bar especially in the day served the same meals it would be nice to mix it up. - Strictly no bikini bottoms or topless men in the restaurant bar during the day, I had to go and change but I understood the rules. They are more relaxed about the trouser rule for men. Overall experience - We really enjoyed our stay in Kos and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a young family. I feel couples and older families would go to Kos town at night etc. and the all-inclusive options would need to be improved

After being a little bit wary about continuing on with our our holiday to to Kos after the earthquake earlier in the year, I'm pleased to say that Hotel Atlantis didn't disappoint. Six of us all adults arrived on the 10th September for a weeks holiday. Initial impressions of the hotel were very good. We all stayed in bungalows, which were ample in size and very clean. Cleaners came every day, and towels and sheets were changed every other day. The Hotel grounds were superb and looked after. The pools were excellent, 2 big pools and a children's pool. Plenty of sun loungers for people, the beach is just a continuation from the hotel, fantastic. The sea is crystal clear and calm the sand although a little pebbly into the sea was fine and nothing a pair of jelly shoes didn't sort out. Hotel restaurants were excellent and food was always varied each day and to a high standard. I thought that everything about the Hotel Atlantis was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday and would love to go back there.

Good location of the hotel. Nice staff. Bar was really good. Restaurants across the street were excellent. Relaxing place to be. 15 minutes walk to Kos town. The whole island is more suited for family vacations.

We have just got back from this beautiful hotel , fresh towels every day friendly staff well worth a visit kos town is lovely beautiful views and beach well worth a visit ideal location pools cleaned daily

I got a good value for the money I paid and it met my expectations according to the reviews I've read. Pros: The location is perfect. On the one hand it's in a quite area and has a beach next to the hotel which is very convenient. On the other hand, it's only 2 km from Kos town so you can walk to the main area or you can take the local bus (you can buy tickets in advance in the hotel and this is cheaper than on the bus). Though this hotel isn't close to the airport, there is no need to take a private taxi to the hotel which will cost 37 Euro. Instead you can take public transportation from the airport to Kos Town (3.5 EU, 40 min.) and then a taxi to the hotel (8 Eu). When I arrived I received a gift of 15 min. free massage which was really nice and I enjoyed it a lot. The receptionists were nice and helpful (Georgia from the bar at the lobby was especially nice). There was a safe in the room and there's a free Wi-Fi at the lobby of the hotel (not around the pool area, only inside). Cons: Though the official policy is that smoking is allowed only at the balconies of the rooms, there was a terrible smell of smoking at the halls so every time I walked into or out my room I had to face it. If you don't bring your own towel from home you'll have to pay 2 Euro per day for renting a towel to take to the pool/beach since this isn't allowed to take out towels from the room. I wish I knew this in advance..(you can always go to the supermarket next to the hotel and buy this and other stuff). You also need to pay if you want a sea bad on the beach next to the hotel. When I wanted to sit on the beach then I preferred to walk along the beach to one of the many bars, to order a drink and then I could sit on a sea bad without adding extra money.. The equipping is very basic-1 small bottle of liquid soap (which wasn't replaced even after I finished it in the middle of my stay) and a shampoo. No body lotion etc. There was no wire inside the shower to hang laundry. In conclusion, this isn't an indulging kind of "all day stay in" hotel if that's what you're looking for. But since my main purposes were to be in the beach/sea, walking around and since I had a realistic expectations-I really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

We chose this hotel for a family holiday, close to the sea, kids animation and Playground for a child. Wish the kitchen was using classic Greek ingredients, comfortable rooms for your stay with the child. At Your hotel we got all that counted. Thanks for the good service, will recommend to all my friends Your hotel!

We was there last week, wat can we say? The hotel is very big, food was nice But a little poor for little child, beach and sea was amazing, the swimming pool as bar with soft drink And cakes very nice! We recomande at family cause was very quite And relaxing

Firstly, thanks to Travel Republic for saving our holiday. We had booked at a different hotel in Kos, booked with Olympic holidays. Then the earthquake arrived, and unfortunately our hotel was damaged. Not Olympic's fault but their "efforts" to find an alternative hotel were pathetic, and then a week before we were due to fly, they said they couldn't find a comparable hotel, and we had an hour to either accept a lower standard hotel or have our money back. We took the money and within a couple of hours had secured flights and another hotel, the Atlantis. We are so glad we changed. Cannot fault the Atlantis. Location, rooms, food, and especially staff were first-rate. Would particularly want to mention the manager of the poolside restaurant. We dined outside by the pool most evenings and he was always efficient, pleasant and very hard-working. We would definitely return to this hotel.

whe enjoy are staying in your hotel. Verry friendly staff, Nice place to be. Are compliments to the staff at the restaurant, the housekeeping en the incheck balie. Enough choise for your breakfast and diner .

The interior of the hotel is nice and clean and is constantly cleaned. The resort's indoor resort is nice and offers plenty of space and seating. Staff willing and smiling. The overall impression is spoiled by a paid hotel beach and below-average bathroom, which is on the level **
