Need a car to get into city but there is a grocery store and restaurants on next road. Very nice, updated room. Small, if you are actually looking for an "apartment" as it is more like a hotel room with a refrigerator (larger than expected), cooking utensils and microwave. Quiet area and was relaxing for the 5 days I as there. Easy check-in / out with access codes. Very friendly and responsive manager.

Space was nicely furnished. Very comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped. Extra towels available if requested. Owner is very accommodating and on premises during the weekdays. Dominoes pizza is on the corner, frozen yogurt store and grocery within walking distance. No coffee or bakery nearby.

I just came back from my trip to Iceland. It was a fun trip. The location of the property was very convenient, just right outside Reykjavik. It is a few exits away and maybe about 3 kms. For someone who plans to rent a car, it would work well. They have free parking. The place was clean and quiet. They replenished towels, kitchen supplies (coffee pods, creamers, sugars) and cleaned the rooms every other day. They also have laundry facilities if needed, for those staying longer and would like to pack light. The staff were also extremely responsive to questions and accommodating to guest requests.
Accomodations were gorgeous and perfect. Location was great just outside of city center. Walking distance to bakery and restaurants. You need a car though because 5 min drive to city center. Manager Lilja is awesome, welcoming and friendly. Oversized balcony with great view.

Host/owner was very gracious and even greeted us with Icelandic chocolates and New Year’s champagne. Very helpful in regards to where to go and when as we were there during a holiday period. This was the perfect location to venture on to the ring road. Easy access to downtown without the high costs of staying downtown. Very easy to go North or South on the ring road and easy drive to airport. There is a bakery/coffee house on the next block, Dominos pizza and a yogurt shop in the same area. The host was excellent, accommodating, spoke excellent english and easily accessible for questions. The rooms were new, comfortable and well maintained. The Laundry facility was accessible and a nice perk of the apts. I would stay again and will recommend to my friends.
Bottom line: We would definitely stay here again. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the apartment was pristine, comfortable and conveniently located only 10 minutes outside of Reykjavik. The glassed in balcony was great for sipping my coffee in the morning and fun when it was raining out. All in all, great experience.
