First of all it is very important that all will know that getting to the hotel is only via taxi boat which sometimes the price can be a bit expensive - when we just got here they (the taxi boat guys, not the hotel) charge my wife and i 1500 bat, the normal price is 500 bat per person and if you going to had rin which is the center beach and want to return late at night - 1000 bat per person and be aware that it is quite dangerous!! It took about 3 hours before our room was ready and at the end we even didn’t get the original one.. it is very high so you need to climb and when we ask to change because my wife is suffering from back problems they told we are fully booked ! The room is very big but the water pressure in the bathroom is very low. Breakfast is just fine - is on the beach and flies are loving it ... If you are looking for a hotel with a private beach, far away from all the noise and you are fine paying 1000 bat each direction to a taxi boat then come along!
We stayed in Pariya for 5 nights. Located at the beach, Pariya offers you tasty breakfasts directly by the sea. It is a bit humid in the rooms caused by the weather and locatiin. We came there in a rainy season thus all clothes were wet and wouldnt dry. Anyway I recommend thos resort as it was quiet and peaceful, far from parties that happen quite often in the neighbourhood.
Pariya resort is a nice resort with a good price. It's the only resort on haad yuan. And the only place to take credit cards. Nice Pool though too much chlorine. Good breakfast though not as good as a year earlier. All and all, still great value if you're getting one of the nicer rooms in the 60 dollar range.
Terrible value for money. Just don't go there. When we arrived, the hotel sent a car to get us. They just didn't mention that the drive takes a hour in the jungle, in a very hard road, and we . could take a 3 minutes boat instead. The hotel doesn't have its own boat, though, so if you want to go *anywhere* you have to take one of the boat that waits there, which change the price at will. So after an hour in the car, in a beautiful jungle, we arrived to an area covered in garbage all around. This was the entrance to the hotel. They didn't hear about first impression I guess. I also think they burn the garbege there, because of the smell of smoke at least once a day. After that they tell you they protect the environment, so the turn off the electricity between 1 and 4 pm. When we arrived, we were offered to upgrade the tiny rooms we got to bigger ones if we pay extra- we didn't get much choice because the rooms were very small. The rooms were also up hill- which required a very long climb to. They didn't bother to put signs so people got lost all the time. Not fun at all in heavy rain. The beach is beautiful but they should have mention in the website that swimming in this area on wet season is extremely dangerous because of toxic jellyfish. The beach is also not exectly peaceful- on the weekends, loud electronic music plays 24/7 and can make you crazy in 5 minutes. But the worst thing in the hotel is that it's just very dirty. The rooms feels and looks dirty- the floor, the shower (which leaks on you when it rains), the smell of sewage in the toilets, the pool's toilet which stinks terribly at all time. the poor breakfast is with million flies all over the place, has no knifes or salt and just feels dirty too. The pool is so full of chlorine, in a way I never seen (or smelled) before. The hot water in the shower doesn't really work as well.. first night, there wasn't any at all. After that, they "fixed" it- so the water were extremely hot or frozen, changing during the shower. The good side- the villas are big and full of space, the hotel looks nice. The location is good - haad yuan, and the beaches close by- haad tian and haad why nam- have a unique atmosphere, very calm, yoga etc.
Best hotel in Had Yuan. Free wifi ( password ~ wifi1111~ ) Free shower. Good breakfast. Prices are more expensive than the others which are located in had yuan. You must be careful in the beach .Be away from boat drivers. They sell Brown sugar as mdma
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Nice setting very quiet beach and not too many people staying here. We stayed during the fullmoon party and still quiet. It's a 5min speedboat away from the haad rin beach where the party is and also alot of shops there. Some changes to be made old tvs in the room especially of a the size of the room the tv was tiny. Bath tub was nice but the shower head was not working again reported but no one came to fix. Nice food no room service so you have to go to the bar and wait. Everyday at 2 till 4 the electricity would cut out as this part of the island does not have electricity. Ac great especially during the hot days and cooled the large rooms easily. Nice little porch area to sit out in if you can bear the flies and mosquitos!
The room was huge and well maintained. The beach is one of the most beautiful in Thailand, just sit and enjoy the wonder of the world... Every weekend there is a 2 days party so expect noise during Saturday & Sunday. Hotel pool and beach are nice, service is reasonable. Though it's probably the best hotel in this perfect beach, food is terrible so expect to pay extra in the other restaurants on the island. We liked the Bamboo (taste, service and view) and the Big Blue which also screen films every evening. I'll definitely return there in the future
My partner and I stayed at this resort for 3 nights in August 2017 (including when the full moon party was on at Haad Rin). We very much enjoyed our stay but there are definitely some pros and cons to staying here. Here they are: Pros: Breakfast was amazing and at the beachfront Swimming pool was very nice and near the beach Haad Yuan is very quiet and if this is your kind of thing it is a great place to be Clean rooms Spa available short walk to restaurants and bars Amazing beach Cons: Poor value for money (Room was very basic and was similar in standard to rooms worth a fraction of the price, earlier in our Thailand trip) The boat from Haad Rin costs 300 baht per person each way and is not really negotiable unless you have a big group (this was a scam as it is a 5 minute boat ride around a headland from Haad Rin) (I think the resorts at Haad Yuan should work together to organise an hourly shuttle boat to Haad Rin at a cost of about 100 baht per person which would be a lot nearer to the price it should be!) The boat drivers make you wait for 30 minutes to an hour until they leave (they do not leave immediately when you pay them 300 baht each which is a massive inconvenience) The reception staff do not help you with regards to organizing the boat trip to and from Haad Rin (even though there is not another way of making this journey) Haad Yuan is very isolated from the rest of Koh Phangan Long walk from room to front of resort
pros - resort is located on a very nice and quiet beach cons - the rooms are not in a great shape. Bathtub is dirty and unusable. - breaksfast is poor and gloomy - management - when we stayed there there was construction going on close to our room (including early morning and night time). This, along with the room condition, made the stay impossible. We cancelled the rest of our stay, and were promised a refund. Many months and emails later - we still have not received our money. Having stayed in a lot of places in Thailand - I would certainly NOT recommend coming here
Beautiful resort! One cove over from full moon party beach which is great we are mid twenties and didn't want to stay over in the frat house galore cove. Relaxing and there are plenty of bars near as well as at the place and very short water taxi ride to get to all the parties on the otherside!
