Super 8 Knoxville / West

The room was smaller than expected but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. When we arrived back to our room sat night however it was obvious that someone had been in our NON SMOKinG room and was smoking. We called the front desk and a young man came up in a flash I mean almost tripped through the front door trying to spray odor spray. I told him it was obvious he knew about this and this was unacceptable. He apologized but that's all. The group staying beside of us was extremely loud all night. I'm glad we left Sunday morning

This hotel is located in a great spot for those traveling on I-40. Desk staff was super cool and the room was clean and comfortable. An overall enjoyable experience.

We had a smoking room when we wanted none smoking.

Nice for getting away. Located near Knoxville, but not in the hustle and bustle. Courteous staff.

We've stayed at this Super 8 at least five different times when in the Knoxville area because of its price and proximity to Turtle Creek stores. But this time our "No Smoking" room had clearly been smoked in by the last occupant (no amount of spray can hide that smell). Neither of our door keys worked consistently, even when reset by the staff. And my husband woke up with bites all over his arms, legs and neck (fleas, bedbugs?) Don't know -- but we're NEVER going back there! The place seems to be going downhill fast and we'll take our chances elsewhere.

It didn't look like anything great when we walked into the room, but the sheets on the bed were SO soft it made sleeping there divine. Everything was clean and nicely kept. The staff was friendly and breakfast was nice.

Room was at the end near busy highway. Noisy traffic sounds all night.

This Super8 is in need of a major renovation. The mattresses are worn so that springs are sticking through the sides. The water pressure is a joke if you want to shower. The towels are small, thin, and scratchy. Not much of a SUPER START breakfast. Big mistake.

Good hotel. Location was good if you wanted to shop in Knoxville. We were only there for the night. The staff was very friendly and the pet policy is very reasonable. I will stay there again if I am heading back to Knoxville.

It was fun we swam in the pool and was very close to lots of things. Very conveniently off the highway as well.

motel needs to upgrade bedding- definitely would not stay here again

Major issue was cleaning staff attempting to barge into my room without knocking while I was in the shower, not once but three times. When confronted at my door, they spoke no English, I called the front desk and complained, within 10 Min's the manager called me and accused me of not paying for my pet, he was loud and rude. After producing my receipt and them double checking I got an "sorry". It was clearly a retaliation for my complaint on there cleaning staff. Room was OK, bathroom dingy, tile dirty, Homeless people living in woods across from parking lot, and I found a syringe in the hotel parking lot while walking my "paid for" pet. I have contacted Corp and was told upper managerment would contact me.........never happened. Plenty of other hotels near by

My family liked this Super 8. Rooms was a nice sized, smelled good and was very clean. We had no issues with the staff, room or amenities. The room had a blow dryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, coffeemaker and coffee supplies. They offered free breakfast every morning. Cereal, grits, oatmeal, danishes, fruit, coffee, milk, apple and orange juice, bagels and toast. This was very close to East Knoxville and we drove about an hour to Smokey Mountain National Park.
