Stayed here one night on the way down to Pigeon Forge. Hall and room smelled like smoke even though we had a nonsmoking room. Room was clean, just dated.

The rooms were gross they smelled bad one of our rooms didn't even have the bed made some of the bedsheets had stains on them. The showers had seen better days and didn't even look like they have been cleaned the bathroom downstairs in the breakfast area had blood spots on the floor I told the staff about it they said they would have somebody clean it up I checked the next day the and they still haven't cleaned it up. This was the worst hotel we had ever stayed out in our life. We couldn't wait to get out of there

The 6'6" ceiling height was bad enough, but an unbelievable safety issue took the prize. The bathroom had a combination light and ventilator fan which was located half in and half out of the tub area. The bulb was exposed and I swear I could have touched it with my elbow it was so low!! I took my shower crouching down so as to not come near the light fixture. I wouldn't dealt that are other rooms with a similar electrocution risk. I would recommend that you avoid this hotel.

I reserved and prepaid for the room through Orbitz with no problems or issues. I was charged exactly the correct amount. When I got to the hotel, I was told that they needed the credit card that was used to reserve the room for identification purposes. When the lady at the desk had the card in hand she ran the card. I let her know that I had already paid through Orbitz. She told me it was a pending transaction and it would fall off when I checked out. Unfortunately, the charge didn't "fall off". I contacted the hotel 5 days in a row and was told that the manager would get back with me. The manager never got back with me. On the last day I called, I let the lady I was speaking with (she recognized me from previous calls) know that if the manager didn't get back with me today I would have to file a dispute with my credit card company. She told me that I would probably have to do that because he isn't returning any messages.

Dirty room, broken dead bolt on door. That's all I want to comment about

I stayed here for one night while my mother was in the hospital at UT. The carpet was filthy in the rooms and the whole facility just seemed run down and dirty. Service from staff was fine though.

is was a great room.i stayed in a different hotel a wee before this room. It was terrible . I was afraid to shower or even to sleep under the covers. I wouldn't go there ever again. This room was 100 better. Comfortable. I slept well

This motel was very convenient to our long-distance travel. Room was comfortable and nearby restaurants adequate for our needs. We will keep this place in mind for our future travels. - D

We needed a warm place to lay our heads. This hotel was inexpensive and conveniently right off the expressway. The Wi-Fi worked pretty well which was an added bonus. It had a nice breakfast of cereal danishes waffles and juice. I only wish they supplied hotel shampoo/conditioner and soap.

I was very satisfied withal the amenities and service at the hotel

This was an extremely "bare bones" hotel room- no microwave or coffee pot although these WERE listed on the website/reservation as being a standard feature, no closet, no luggage rack, not even a hand towel rack in the bathroom or any counter space, no hair dryer and not even any little shampoo (!!) BUT this was not due to disrepair. Everything in the room was in good working order and perfectly clean. Bed and pillow were comfy, ac unit worked great. Staff was very friendly ( and supplied the shampoo when requested). Free breakfast was fine, just the basics- cereal, donuts, waffle machine. Only problem w/ breakfast room was only 4 tables so most people had to take food back to their hotel room to eat. Could not possibly get a better price or location in regards to driving to any UT or downtown event. Would definitely stay here again.

Good Things: There were McDonald, iHop, Red Lobster, Taco Bell, a Chinese buffet, gas stations right next to the hotel. There was a grocery 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Bad Things: Weird people were staying in that hotel, most of them talking non-sense. The front desk people were somewhat rude. The cleanliness of the hotel was very bad. There was no shampoo or soap in the bathroom when we got there. There were no hair dryer or microwave in the room as they promised. I never found the free wifi that they mentioned. The room service always comes at 12pm and never comes back. The air conditioner was 100 years old. It made the air so dry that I had breathing problem. It was so noisy. Also the exhaust in the bathroom makes sound like a helicopter. Useful Tips: KatBus is the public transport available there. You can take the bus to reach downtown within an hour (you have to chance the bus twice). It takes $1.5 for a single ride. Google map never shows the route of this bus. Bus stop is right across the hotel. Cab fare to downtown is about $16.

I'll start with the only positive thing I can say about this hotel - the location is convenient to the highway and about a 10 minute drive from the restaurants and bars in downtown Knoxville. Now the rest of the story. We've stayed at Super 8 properties before and been mostly satisfied. They tend to be inexpensive, but clean and comfortable. This location does not fit that bill. The lobby was dingy and had a strange smell, and while the only employee was friendly, she had to come inside from her cigarette break to check us in. On to the room...it also had a strange smell and was very dark. The bathroom was tiny with paint coming off the walls and the shower floor was coated with black grime. We checked in around 7pm and promptly left to get dinner and drinks. We came back around 10pm, went to sleep right away and left at 7am without bothering to shower. The experience was disgusting, uncomfortable, and a little scary. I would not recommend staying there under any circumstances. Spend an extra $20 and go to another hotel.

Good value for a last minute business trip on a budget.

Everything was good except the breakfast it wasn't very continental.

Queen beds were more comfortable than the doubles .

Staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Location and nice selection of places to eat that evening. Would stay here again.

This hotel was very basic but also good for the price. Very conveniently located off the highway.

experience. One minor hitch - Computer was down when we arrived. Came back in about 20 minutes, but the man on duty was very cordial and accommodating. - Very convenient from I 75 freeway. - Don

The staff at this location was more interested in having a communal cigarette smoking circle than with helping guests waiting in line at the front desk. When they did acknowledge our waiting, they rushed in, without washing their hands, to help us. Once in our room, we discovered dusty, dirty conditions on the floor, couch, and bathroom. Our bed sheets contained burn holes. When theses issues were mentioned, the receptionist said, "I'm sorry, but don't worry you booked through the O website so you won't be charged with any extra fees." Does this mean we would've had to pay extra had we not booked through O? Avoid this location at all costs!
