Recent guest reviews

From reading previous reviews I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the hotel. The updates and renovations have made it a nice place to stay.

The lobby appeared newer and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was okay. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it wasn't spectacular. The lighting was harsh fluorescent, the bed sufficient but nothing luxurious, and the couch in our room was tacky and uncomfortable. The room was pretty clean, at least from what we could tell (we didn't exactly bring a black light) - there were some dark scuff-stains on a sheet and some dust in hidden places but nothing devastating. We couldn't find an elevator to our second floor room and had to lug our stuff up and down stairs. Our room overlooked a decent-looking courtyard and a pool that was closed for the season. The breakfast was dismal - fresh waffles being the highlight amongst toast, cereal and biscuits and gravy. All in all it was acceptably mediocre. For the price, it's a reasonable place to spend the night.

While the experience was fine. I was very disappointed to learn that it was about 20 minute drive from the University of Tennessee. I booked this, speceifically becauase the title says UT. I thought we would right off campus. In fact we were not near UT.

Not expecting too much. I stayed in a king "suite." Pretty small for a suite, but the desk was a nice, large, L-shaped desk (if that's what you're into). The staff was lovely and quite hospitable as well.

Cheap and convenient. Close to restaurants. Was able to park my truck and boat with out issues.

Great experience for the price I was paying. I don't feel like writing any more, Orbitz....

Stained sheets, dirty room and rude staff. I would not recommend this property to the enemies

Close to shopping. Beds only full size. Blankets had burn marks in them but the room was non smoking. Nothing fancy but it was cheep and that was what I was looking for.

Carpet dirty, burn holes in sheets, stink bug in covers, bad smell in room, could smell marijuana smoke coming from rooms.

The front desk guy was surly, the room was pretty gross. Had to stay there for a work trip, prepaid by my employer. I left as soon as I could! The maids were very nice.

Cheap clean close to restaurants. Friendly for parking with a trailer.

the beds were asa old as me, the sheets and blankets were from the 40s and the rooms were super small. i don't know where they got the pictures of the hotel that were online but that hotel doesn't exist where i stayed.

Other stuffs are fine, but the floor of the hotel is not cleaned after maybe last cuistomer who has a cat or dog.

great space, updated. staff was very knowledgeable and made check in a breeze

We didn't expect much for the price but we got was less than that. They had to switch us rooms twice upon arrival because the first room had food and hair in the beds and bathroom and the second (non- smoking) room smelled like smoke. The room we finally got had a dirty tub but clean beds so we settled. There were dogs barking several times in the night. Non hotel guest showed up in the late hours, parked, went to a room, and then left a few minutes later. That usually means drug deals. There are lots of choices in the area. Do yourself a favor and pick a different hotel.

Due to the football game most hotels were full. Had to pay about 3x the rate for this room because of the game. It was also a motel which we did not realize. It wasn't terrible but for the money it was so overpriced.

There were no problems with my stay at Red Roof, and the people who worked here were very friendly. The room was quite small but still very good for the price.

My time at the hotel was quiet and restful. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Based on the kind of hotel, it exceeded my expectations and next year i will once again look forward to staying there.

It was good but the price no too much for the service

It was good. We enjoyed it. Nice hotel. Good location. Clean. Helpful.
