We paid $114 before taxes for a king bed suite. We booked the hotel a few hours out of Knoxville on our way home from Florida. We were very impressed with the hotel for the low price. Everything looks to be updated in the lobby and in the room. The people at the front desk were very friendly upon our arrival and gave us floor choices for our room. The room was nice with a large updated shower, a modern looking sitting area with a conversion sofa-bed for our son. The king bed was very comfortable and for the first time during our vacation, I woke well rested with no back pain. The hotel was located close to many restaurants and stores, and the free breakfast that was included was very good with many different options from fruit, yogurt, and bagels, to eggs, sausage, and a waffle maker. Overall, we were very impressed with our last minute hotel reservation.
We were in the area for a wedding that took place 25+ miles outside of Knoxville. The Farragut area was a reasonable distance to the wedding venue and there was a wide array of hotels from which to choose. Upon arrival, we waited approximately 5-10 minutes for the front desk staff to come inside from an e-cigarette break outside. Our room was not ready and we had another slight wait before we could settle in and unpack. On the second day of our trip, we did not leave the room until approximately 10:00. Fearing that we may miss have missed housekeeping, we stopped by the front desk to inform them that we were leaving for the day and were told that there was a low likelihood that our room would be serviced due to the fact that the hotel was fully booked. I can understand receiving such a response if we were requesting housekeeping late in the day but it was still morning! Our room did not appear to get serviced that day but towels were dropped off for us. Granted, this is not a luxury accommodation but I certainly expect better customer service than what we received. There are a number of other similar hotels in the area--I would recommend exploring those before booking with the Fairfield.
If you're looking for a place to stay in Knoxville I can definitely say that this Fairfield is a good choice. We were in town for one evening and being Marriott Rewards members, we are incline to usually stay with a Marriott brand and Fairfield tends to be one of our faves. We call to make a reservation and were informed that we literally were able to get the last room they had open for the evening. The gentleman we spoke with, Chris, was very helpful and had exceptional customer service skills. Upon arriving at the hotel 15 to 20 minutes later Chris was at the counter and again continue with his exceptional skills, giving us some advice on local restaurants when we asked for assistance. Room at the Fairfield was spacious, clean, comfortable beds, everything you would expect and need in a hotel stay. They have an indoor heated saltwater pool, that we did not get a chance to experience and they have a decent-sized workout facility available as well. The breakfast this morning was typical of the free breakfast you get at a Fairfield, food was plentiful and very good. Would definitely recommend and consider staying here again when we're back in Knoxville.
Traveled for baseball tournament and enjoyed our weekend stay at this hotel. Staff was nice and breakfast was good. Rooms are clean with enough space. Only small complaint is that the fan in bathroom did not work. Location is great. Close to shopping, food, and interstate. Would stay here again.
I rode down with my adoptive big sister for a funeral she was attending and stayed at the Fairfield Inn and IT WAS AMAZING! John at the Desk was very knowledgeable as well as Fitz, I believe he was a house person or maintenance I’m not sure which but he was really great too. Breakfast was good and the room was nice clean and housekeeping was very attentive. There was also a lady with long hair who I believe was management who was nice as well. My only dislikes were the fact that the bathroom didn’t have a vent ( and we went out to make my sister feel better and ate way too much foolishness lol ) and the pool is really small but other than that I would definitely recommend.
The staff at this hotel really can’t be beat. We had a somewhat complicated check in situation, but they made it quick and easy. I had a small issue with my room, and they moved me to another room without hesitation. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is newer and well kept. I do want to mention that the bathrooms have large showers and no tub, which may be a concern for parents with babies, as I know from experience. But the shower is huge, bathroom is well lit and plenty of counter space. Beds are comfortable and plenty of pillows. Continental breakfast was good. The hotel is an easy drive into downtown Knoxville. As a frequent traveler and platinum elite Marriott member, I feel the staff deserves kudos for their superb customer service. I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel seemed very new. The hallways were not long identical corridors but had some variety which made them less confusing. The breakfast area was large enough to handle the morning crowd. The staff were all very welcoming.
I was recently on a business trip and stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Knoxville West. My room was very clean and comfortable with a walk-in shower that was very spacious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating both during the morning and evening hours. I enjoyed a nice breakfast every morning and received a special treat bag with water, breakfast bar and fruit during my morning check out.
If you’ve stayed at a bunch of Fairfield Inns, you know the template: three floors, same layout, same decor, even the same pool. This hotel must be new or newly renovated because it completely breaks that mold. It feels very fresh and modern. The rooms are spacious, with a separate sitting area and a desk convenient for working. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast is the normal one - so cereals, breads, a few hot entree options, and a make-your-own waffle maker. And there are fresh cookies every evening. If this hotel is convenient to the area you’ll be visiting, I recommend it highly!
What a pleasant surprise! We were in town for a concert at Cotton Eyed Joe and they had a link to this hotel. We booked it and were very happy. The place is very clean. The staff was great. The room was immaculate and the shower was awesome! Lots of room and the shower head was high enough for my 6'5" body to fit under. Breakfast was way above average and the morning staff was very nice. It made for a great morning. Thank you! We will definitely be back!
