Could not get warmer than cool water in tub. There was virtually no counter in bathroom, making it difficult to prepare for the day. The refrigerator was dirty. The outdoor door was insecure, resulting in safety concerns.
For $50, this hotel exceeded my expectations - everything in my room was spotless, in working condition, and accessible. It's certainly nothing fancy, but is a great value for the price range. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it's clear that they are actively improving the location. PROS: Great value, friendly service, clean, everything works, complimentary hygiene products CONS: Thin walls (occasionally loud), odor in hallway (but not in room), breakfast is a little sparse (granola bars and coffee)
I was here on a business trip and I would not stay their again. The pictures on the internet are not the same as in person. The room smelt bad and there was still stuff from the last person who stayed there under the bed. The ac took all night to cool the room down.
I don't like to write a bad reviews. This location could have been cleaner. Our stay was for three adults, one teen & one toddler. Only three pillows had to ask for more and we did get them. Stairs need to be cleaned and trash needed taken out of the halls. They did say they have not house keeping on the weekends, But trash piled by every trash can out side the room was a little concerning. Spoke to a very nice and helpful lady at Extended Customer Service after a review and told her we would try extend stay again everyone has a bod day. Over all it was ok nothing to write home about
Worth it. There is absolutely amazing value in this place for the price there is a kitchen with a refrigerator and a stove with an actual oven which is shocking and also it's freshly remodeled. Always kind-hearted people that work here.
I travel almost constantly for my job so Im pretty familiar with most hotel chains. I dont have a favorable view of this chain but this location did change that a little. First of all, the housekeeping & maintenace staff here were literally top notch. Hats off to you ladies & gents because you are providing friendliness & service on par with Omni hotels. It was a wonderful surprise! The room was spotless & comfortable. Decor was fresh & pleasant. Location is outstanding. That being said, I could only give 3 stars because while housekeeping deserves 5 stars, the front desk deserves zero. Seriously, they were some of the worst I have ever seen, especially Casey. I have never seen people so unprofessional & clearly ill suited to work in "hospitality". Also, good luck getting any sleep here on the ground floor because the other guests are going to be outside fighting loudly while under the influence until around 4am. The one night they werent it was because a guest had overdosed on heroin . Normally, the front desk would be helpful in situations like these but what we experienced was the opposite. Miss Casey seems to cater to these less than desirable guests while treating the business travellers like garbage. I was here for a week & my key cards never worked properly which is really inconvenient, in order for the wifi to work properly you have to pay a fee that they dont inform you of until you complain, & if you have to interact with Casey at any point expect to be treated pretty rudely. My company will not be using this location anymore for our employees. People travelling with children should not stay here. The locals who live here are a pretty rough crowd.
We had a large group stay at this hotel over the weekend. No one enjoyed their stay. The walls were thin, and a barking dog woke several of our members up very early. The breakfast provided guests with the bare-minimum - coffee, muffins, snack bars, and instant oatmeal. No coffee was provided during the day or in the rooms. If you want anything, like a coffee maker or hair dryer, you have to call the front desk and retrieve the item yourself. The WiFi was also terrible. The rooms labeled "smoke-free" still smelled like smoke. The only positives to staying here are that the rooms are adequately cleaned, the location is good, and the price is cheap. Despite this, the cons far outweighed the pros and we will not be returning to this hotel.
This place is really good for the money it actually has a lot of homey country character and it's very cozy the only thing is I really do wish it had an elevator and a bigger parking lot due to there's only one way in One Way Out but it's perfect for the money.
My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week in Knoxville. This location was easily accessible and had great parking. The rooms were clean! I love the remodeled bathrooms (I stayed here a couple of years ago on business). Much better looking!! Also, they were so awesome to accommodate a first floor request. I have some slight issues with balance and gait, so getting a first floor room was AWESOME!!
The lady that checked me in was very nice. I will enjoy the full kitchen my room has. If you need kitchen items such as dishes, pots and pans the front office will get them for you. The rooms are very clean and up to date.
