I had a business meeting and conference call at the hotel. The manager and staff went out of their way to make the arrangements as comfortable as possible, even allowing me to use the manager's office instead of a less inviting conference room.

Breakfast buffet can use some help. Running out of different items each day. I mean milk, cereal juice if run out go to get n go down the hill and get more until big order can come in

Staff was very friendly and accommodation was pleasant. Breakfast was not great and could be improved.

Got moved to a suite. It smelled musty. Oil marks on the sheets. Got enrolled with the Carlson Rewards Club with promises of low rates and lots of free upgrades. When I called about a room in the next city we were going to, the quoted me $149 even though I was a rewards member. I said it's only $112 on the website. I can stay anywhere on that block for $60! He wasn't giving any discounts or upgrades. And the conditions were questionable by the looks of the one in Clinton, tn.

Stayed 5 days - First 2 the pool was closed by the state. The chemical smell after it opened was so strong we could not stand it to swim. Was very disappointed as this was the main reason we chose this hotel was for the indoor swimming pool. Our room was clean but we had to call or stop daily to get enough towels. We wrote a note to the cleaning crew that the coffee pot did not work, we still had to call the desk to get a new one. The breakfast I think could have been fresher. The breads and pastries seemed dry. One day a guest in the elevator was complaining she found mold on a bagel. I don't think it would take much to make this place top notch... Staff seemed very friendlty, perhaps it is a management issue.

Building needs total rennovation from top to bottom, carpets worn with rolls and pulls, bathroom wallpaper split, shower curtin loose, shower head moldy, beds uncomfortable, bed spready too big and bulky, pillows bad, sheets not changed daily, hairdryer did not work. outside door closer broken and door slammed every time someone used it. broken floor trim in breakfast room. On the otherhand the staff was very friendly.

I have stayed a many Country Inns across North America, as well as many other average hotels. I travel for business and only need clean handy place to stay. I decided to treat myself to this Country Inn, because it was only 1 mile to the place I was doing business with. It has a work out gym area and an indoor pool. The gym was completely closed...there were at least 6 pieces of equipment in there and was told they were ALL not working...they offered nothing in exchange for the fact I paid for that. I asked for a deal at a local gym, which they replied they weren't even sure there was any, when in fact there was one .5 away. I will never stay at this Country Inn again....

The staff was very friendly ....but we soon discovered as we checked into a room that the managers family member who helped with housekeeping did NOT change the linens on the bed nor sweep floors etc. We ended up changing room & discovered a different room was in the same condition. The location is a convenient location.,& friendly staff but I think having family members to help with housekeeping is NOT a good plan for success...

Me and my boyfriend had a great stay. The only negative thing was we booked it partly to swim, and the pool was closed.

The frig had an old salad in it when we arrived. We got no clean towels the second day. We had to beg for clean water glasses the third day. When we arrived the desk clerk was "taking a reservation" on the phone. She was actually talking to someone wanting to set up a block of rooms for a wedding in a few months. After waiting five minutes I grabbed a luggage cart and unloaded the car. She was still on the phone when I returned with the loaded cart. Seven minutes later the clerk finally checked my ID and handed us the key cards. It took her about thirty seconds. Telling the caller "hang on a second" would have made me much happier after my six-hour drive. The floor in the room was dirty too.

I was told these rooms are given out frequently. I will never book with them again.

The only good thing about this hotel was leaving it! Sheets were stained, room smelled funky, the girl checking me in when I arrived was seriously inconvenienced by my arrival, requiring her to pause her texting session, thankfully she was able to stay seated and roll her chair everywhere she need to and did not have to get up, I would've felt terrible had she had to actually had to be pleasant and helpful.

Room was very clean, great location right off I75. Breakfast bar was great, just a little crowded. Staff was polite. Only set back was the beds, they were extremely hard, didn't sleep very well on them

This was a great hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room was very clean and the location was great. Check in went smoothly and adding one more day to stay was very quick. The breakfast bar was great, although I would have liked to see bacon on the menu.

We traveled to the area to boat on Norris Lake. The hotel is close to the lake. The hotel was well taken care of. The room was clean and confortable and the bed was nice. Breakfast was good and they mixed it up each morning; eggs, ham, sausage, toast, cereal, juice, waffles, ect. Cookies in the lobby when checking in. Friendly service. I will stay there again when I go back to Norris Lake.
