The hotel was new and modern. The facilities allow for being self sufficient. If traveling as a couple, ideal. Not as a family though because of tight quarters. After booking I realized that the hotel did not offer breakfast, the location was a bit far from Zurich Main Station (about 10 train stops which is the hub to get to anywhere in Zurich and outside of the city). The room was extremely warm (can't imagine being there in the summer), The price is okay considering I booked flight and hotel. There a.few places to eat around the perimeter and a small grocery for small items. The bus stop is walking distance which is good. I probably would book a hotel closer to the city next time to save on all the round trip daily tickets we had to purchase.
There's no AC in the room or any sort of Air cooling even in the month of July when the temperature it 30+ everyday. Horrible experience! The room and the hotel did not have microwave to warm food, the windows did not open all the way for airflow into the room. Please look else where if you are looking for comfort.
Our stay at the Flag was great! The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to district 4 and 5. Our room was very clean and modern. Only downside was they only give you two coffee pods total for your stay and if you want anymore you have to pay :(.
