Great location within walking distance of restaurants, Lake Bled and other tourist attractions. Parking is busy and you park in back of the hotel so expect a lot of walking. Great breakfast with lots of options. Friendly staff. The only item I would mention would me to watch for the hotel signage since it is off of the Main Street with lots of food and car traffic.

Beautiful view and excellent amenities—highly recommend!

We had a room viewing Lake Bled which was magical (we paid a little extra - totally worth it!). Nice staff, beautiful hotel. We got Thai massages there, which was amazing - best massage I ever got.

The hotel charges a 1 EUR registration fee per person, which is NOT the tourism tax nor any other tax nor disclosed on the hotel website at time of booking. Checkin + out staff is not very friendly, gives you an attitude when you checkin 5minutes before official check in time "you are checkin in too early!" Breakfast is VERY limited, we tried different times, 9.00; 9.30; 10.00 --> they were always out of almost everything, instead of refilling the food, they bring out more and more clean plates (even thou there are enough plates available already). When they bring out something, they bring it out peace by peace, meaning 1 glass = 1 person, just so they look like they are busy.

My room overlooked one of the main enterances of the hotel on the first floor. It was extremely noisy because of the street traffic and tour buses parking outside. I requested a wake up call and thankfully I set my alarm too because I did not receive it and would have missed my flight. Also a warning about the showers, they are very small (as is custom in many European hotels) however the shower handles for hot and cold can easily be hit while showering. I knocked it with my elbow to hot by accident and almost scalded myself. On a good note, breakfast is wonderful including homemade jams and spreads and you can use their bikes for free for two hours and then three euro an hour afterwards. The pool and sauna area is also a nice amenity.

Strongly recommend this hotel. Professional and kind staff. Sauna facility was good. I will stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel Lovec for two nights. The restaurant Grill served a delicious (fresh)seafood platter for two. The hotel is right across the street from Lake Bled and you get a great view of the church on the water as you step onto the sidewalk. The hotel itself was very clean with modern bedroom furnishings. The breakfast included had a wide variety of food to choose from. The only 2 issues we had were the bathroom shower/tub set-up and a faint odd smell (coming from either the bathroom floor drain or the bathtub drain). The hotel only had 1 other room to offer us, and as it was quite outdated and small with two seperate twin beds, we decided to stick it out with a newly renovated and more spacious room. By the second day, the odour wasn't prevalent anymore.
