I'll say it honestly, when I booked the reservation, I did not expect much from and Econolodge, and neither did my husband. But it was very pleasant. The staff was friendly. The room was nice and smelled very clean. A good price, too. I would stay again if I travelled through kingsville again.

It was good not bad at all for the low price. Would stay again if needed to.

Dirty, no towels in room, very noisy, bed's lumpy ,

Staff very pleasant and helpful. This was an overnighter on my trip from Minnesota to South Texas and served my needs very well. Probably will use this stop again.

If your goal is just to stay overnight in route this is a great deal. The room was clean and very spacious. Had a mini-fridge and microwave. Breakfast was grab-and-go since there was no seating area, but that was our plan regardless and the food and drinks were good. I've paid lots more for rooms not half this nice.

very convenient and clean

This hotel was small but it served its purpose. I will think about it next time i book for this location but it won't be my first option.

It started with nearly 20-30 minutes of explanation to the clerk that room had been booked and paid for through Orbitz.com - still ran my card and took 2 weeks to have it removed. The clerk did finally agree, but seriously they of all people should now how this works. (I did get my money back) Upon entering the room the the great kill the bugs, before the kids flipped out. Followed by the stale smell in the are. The rooms seemed either quickly renivated, or not yet finished. The lighting had no options and was very poor. The bathroom was about as equvalent to those of the showers found on the beaches, minus the sand. I know this is not a big town, but there are many people that stay in this area for a number of reasons.Mainly to be outside and nearby Corpus Cristi

The hotel smelled and the A/C system did not work adequately. After driving 8 hours to take my brother to meeting at local university all i wanted to do was sleep. I tried unsuccessfully to tough it out since it was only for 1 night but due to poor accomodations I left the room at midnight and checked into a Best Western down the street which had much better rooms, presentation and overall appeal. Econolodge DID NOT meet the minimum standards of quality, cleanliness, or customer service for an enjoyable stay and I would not recommend it to any one EVER! There was not a night manager available when my brother (who is 20 years old and could care less about room quality but even he was ready to go) and I walked out of the room so I was unable to check out officially until the next morning.
