Easily booked this hotel online 30 minutes prior to arrival. Checked in easily. The room was very good and very clean. Staff were very helpful and extremely polite and courteous. Great hot breakfast with the room. The breakfast food was a little sparse at first but more soon arrived with great apologies from the staff. Had to leave the highway and drive downtown to reach it. But all in all, a great stay.
I must say I am no stranger to Kingston and have stayed in several hotel/motels and this one is by far the cleanest and most comfortable. The continental breakfast offers many options and the staff is really friendly. Funny anecdote, I often stayed at the 7 oaks motel specially because I loved the staff there and last time I was informed that they had sold... Happy surprise! They are now at the Comfort Inn as their son acquired the place. I will be staying here on my future Kingston trips!
Great amenities and great value! Best part of the trip was discovering that the nice asian couple that used to own the Seven Oakes are now running this place. Will be back for sure!!! Great pillows...tv...comfy beds...very clean. Even the cleaning staff are friendly.
Stayed for one night Feb 18, 2017. New owners as of Dec 2016, and the young man at the desk was very friendly, informative and professional. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were on the ground floor and it was surprisingly quiet. The TV had a slightly fuzzy picture. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, breads, waffles, yogurt, cereal, muffins, coffee, tea and juice. What more could you ask for! Location about a 5 min drive to downtown Kingston.
Stayed one night at the Comfort Inn Midtown. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities in good repair. The central location worked for me. It's just a short drive from the 401. The checkin was a little slow than I would have liked.. It was a long day, a long drive and I just wanted to go to bed. The breakfast was above average. The value at this hotel very good.
Such a pleasant experience. The new owners could not have been friendlier. It was quiet, made for a great sleep. Close to downtown. you will not be able to beat their rates elsewhere. Excellent selection for free breakfast....hot & cold.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. We had a good size room with 2 double beds. The reception is bright and the staff welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is generous and standard fare. Nice to see that they serve whole wheat bread and fresh fruits. It would be nice to have unflavoured yogourt(too much sugar in the flavoured ones). We would have liked to accomodate a third friend but they do not have cots. None of their rooms could accomodate cots. My friend had forgotten her toothbrush and in spite of their claim to the contrary,(small sign in the bathroom) they couldn't provide us with one. That was disappointing.
The room I stayed in was clean, well maintained and had a comfortable bed. Free breakfast with lots of choices - cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles, bread, fruit, muffins, and two hot options. Usually eggs and a sausage patty. Eggs were good. I'd pass on the sausage. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
I stayed here before, once a long time ago and then recently again. I am delighted to find the hotel under new management. The staff are more professional and accommodating. The room I stayed in was very clean and I felt comfortable in it. There were no signs that housekeeping skipped over any details. Everything was freshly dusted and wiped clean. Breakfast is served fresh. The area is well maintained while the food is out and everything is clean. Fresh Waffles and Cheese Omelets were very satisfying. I feel very happy with the the value of this hotel. I feel like I should have paid more for what a I received. I travel a great deal and have stayed in many comfort inn hotels...This one is as good or better than any, here or back in the U.S. Also met the owner Tom during my stay...super intelligent, compassionate guy, helped me out a lot. I will definitely stay here again should I have to return to this area.
I had hairs in my tub. Disgusting. Told the clerk about it right before he was checking in a conspicuous female. When he came to clean my tub, I had to ask: "I noticed you let a prostitute rent a room here for two nights. Is this a common occurrence? He answered, without denying, "We can't turn away those who pay for a room." I'm in the hotel room right now. Am i wrong to think that this inappropriate for a Comfort Inn? Signed, Single mom of two kids, who are with me at this moment. Yuck!
