Could only pay in advance. Furnishings look like they came from garage sales. Patio door had no lock. Didn't stay at all. Agreed to pay for one day and got a refund for the remainder.
Not clean, chair covered in grime, bugs on floor, sheets had stains, tub did not drain
It wasninfested with cockroaches. Drug activity filthy rooms bugs in the bed. Toilet wouldn't flush. Air conditioner did not work. Spent ammunition casings outside the door. There were 8 people staying in the room next to us milling around all night long looking into my vehicle and room window. Moved the desk chair and 5 or 6 roaches fell out and ran away. When i asked manager to fix toilet and air conditioner or a different room he shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't help me. The pictures on line are very misleading. Worst travel experience ever. I paid for a week and even purchased insurance through Orbitz. It was so bad we only stayed one night because it was late and we had no other options. Was unable to recoup almost $600. Should have read the reviews. Lesson learned. Glad I wasn't traveling with kids. Did not feel safe.
The only thing I had a problem with was the fact that I found a roach in the room. Was not very pleased about that but everything else was fine!
Room was filthy. Carpet was so dirty that your feet would be black from walking around after a shower. Kitchenette was in horrible disrepair. For didn't seal, light was visible at top and bottom. AC barely worked. Drapes were nasty with stains on them.
The door lock wouldn’t work I had to go get someone each time I left,, room was nasty , badly dated , the hot water was a joke, bed was very uncomfortable,, the staff wasn’t friendly ,, not enough towels ,, very disappointed that I paid for a suite at a big price and it was a dump !!!
Was needing a room for a night. This hotel was a good hotel, not great but not terrible. It was just an ordinary hotel. The room was clean and neat, the bed was comfortable, and the location was okay. If I needed a room for a night or two I would stay there again.
My grandson and I had a great time while in The Shoals for Handy Fest. We were only in the room at night to sleep. We were fairly comfortable but the room could have used a thorough cleaning before we got there.

I knew I wasn't going to be staying at the Ritz when I booked, but for the price it met expectations in most areas. The mattress could use some work and the front desk needs more attendance. There wasn't anyone there when I checked in or checked out-had to wait.
When we checked the staff member was friendly and informative. The room appeared clean and lighting was good. The shower could use some tlc on areas not visible at first glance and the grout needs a good scouring. Other than bathroom the accommadations were okay. The view of the Expressway bridge was great and we slept soundly.
Nice stay for a fishing trip. Would not stay here with family though. Only real problem, advertisement on web site stated they had boat ramp at the motel--what they didn't say was it was UNUSABLE!! That was the one "draw" that had us use that motel -- will not use it again. Also had a smoking room "with NO ASHTRAYS"--GO FIGURE.
stayed in the room nearest the highway traffic noise was terrible and kept me up. the air-conditioning could not keep up and it wasnt that hot out
