We were going through a traumatic family situation. The Hotel and the staff was a great place to come back to every day. It was clean, relaxing, accommodating, almost a zen experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had to fly to Texas suddenly for a funeral. The hotel had everything I needed. It was very clean and modern. I would certainly stay there again

Nice accommodations. Great value for the money. Comfortable bed

My husband and I had a weekend getaway to the Temple area to attend a local event. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night in mid-September. The room rate wasn't bad, but we've paid both more and less at other hotels in this chain. The room was HUGE. We were in a wheelchair accessilble room. We didn't request it and not necessary for us, but I guess that's what they had available. Having the additional space was really nice since we were traveling with a lot of gear. The free wifi was a nice bonus and it worked quickly and with no problems. The restaurant pricing was reasonable and the service attentive. The food was good and the portions more than adequate. We ate dinner Friday night and breakfast both mornings since that was convenient for us. The only downside was that the front-desk gave us wrong information about when they opened for breakfast. I asked her to confirm that they opened at 7AM on Saturday, she insisted that it was 6. We came down for breakfast on Saturday at 6:30 and were told they would be opening at 7. (Nitpicking on that, but the front desk staff should be able to provide accurate information the the guests). The room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was pristine and well stocked with the needed items. The bed was comfortable. The room was equiped with two airconditioning units that ran quietly and were easily controlled by independent thermostats on the wall.

The A/C is set such that the fan turns off and on all night, even if the Fan is set to On. The result is that the fan turns off and on all night. When on, it's fairly loud, which is fine. When it turns off, I can hear the traffic on I-35 outside, which is quite different. I found myself waking up all night each time the fan to the A/C unit turned off. If the management would fix this one issue, the hotel would get 5 stars.

I have asked management twice to look into their thermostats. Most normal thermostats allow for the user to turn the fan mode on the AC to "ON". The AC maintains a constant temerature and the fan constantly stays on. Instead, this hotel has disabled this AC feature, which means the fan turns off and on along with the AC compressor. This means the AC fan is turning off and on all night, which keeps me up. Along with this problem, the Highway noise from 18-wheelers permiates the room. I'd rather leave the fan ON and have a perfect stay instead of waking up tired.

Very clean and attractive hotel. It would have been nice if they had an indoor pool...we were there in Nov....with kids! Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly with quick check in process. We would go back but next time ask for a room away from the highway noise.

The staff was On It! They were helpful, courteous and available at all times. The hotel looked like it was designed by Philippe Starck! I did not expect this in Temple - Belton. My kids loved the pool and the great cabanas with the tent curtains and the big tv's. What a fun place! Food good, rooms immaculate and very comfortable beds! I felt like I was in a much more expensive hotel.

For the most part the hotel was great. It is very nice and well kept. The only things I could complain about would be the restraunt. Me and my boyfriend went to eat supper around 7 and we were the only ones there, we still had to wait 10 minutes for drink refills and she forgot my boyfriends side salad and not to mention the prices were pretty rediculous. The next morning we ordered room service for breakfast and they said it would be 10, but didn't arrive until 10:30 and with out our toast, syrup, salt and pepper. So i would just not recommend dinning there. And the hotel is not as big as it appears in the pictures, but still very well kept. And if you are a smoker this is probably not somewhere you would want to stay in bad weather, because you can't smoke anywhere in the hotel and the place for you to smoke outside you have to walk out in the rain or snow or whatever to get there.

new only 18 months old very nice place great lighted parking lot centrally located.. nice rooms but the decor in the rooms is a little weird square lamps and funky colors , but like the options on the pillows soft and firm would most definitely stay again,,, ((((caution noisy train track in area.. every 45 min to a hr her she comes blowing her horn...))))

We stayed for 5 nights when we visited my husband before his deployment. This place is VERY updated. Super clean and the staff was very accomodating. We really enjoyed the rooms. We used the pool for hours everyday, we pretty much had the pool to ourselves and the gazebos with the TV's are great! There are SEVERAL eating establishments and a few stores with in a short drive. The mall with a theater is a couple mile drive, but well worth it. If we ever needed to go to Temple are again, we would stay here no questions asked!

Check in was easy. It is a long haul to carry bags from the parking lot to the room. The room was clean and the usual soaps/shampoos/and plenty of towels and washcloths were provided. One disappointment was that NO free continental breakfast was offered. If you wanted a cup of coffee or snack you had to pay in their restaurant & prices were fairly high. I tried brewing coffee via the in-room coffee-maker and it turned out undrinkable. All in all it was a decent place to spend the night.
