Days Inn Temple

Recent guest reviews

I had to come to Temple to be with my mother who was dying in the local hospital. The staff at Days Inn have been kind and professional. The room is exactly what I would expect for a reasonably priced hotel: clean with basic ammenities including a mini fridge and microwave, and ample space in the room. The bed is comfortable.

This room while economic, was not much else. The bed and most of the room was clean but there were many small cockroaches and the room needed a deep cleaning very badly. The smoke alarm went off, durring my stay without reason, so I removed it and behind it were at least 4-5 smashed/dead bugs/cockroaches. Under the couch and behind the dresser had clearly not been cleaned in months maybe years. Will not be returning when I visit the in-laws in Temple next year.

Room was fine. Since it is in a road construction area the entrance/exit was not obvious.

We checked in to have a nice birthday evening for my wife away from the kids. She is 7 months pregnant and fell in love with the whirlpool bathtub (probably will have to buy one for the house now). The room was large and comfortable and the staff was excellent. The only minor draw back was that the hotel did not get all the channels listed on the entertainment guide but the pay per view had new releases that are still in theaters and priced decent. The evening was a great night out with a good movie once we returned to the hotel room. And even got an A+ for getting the staff to sneak in her roses and birthday cake while we were out to dinner. Thanks for a great night away from home.

Very nice and comfortable. Hotel was easy to find and centrally located around all actives. The staff was nice and the rooms were spacious.

After some of the reviews I had read about this place, I had some trepidation about staying here. However the Days Inn in Temple proved to be a delightful experience. The room was large and clean and both the large flat screen television and commode appeared to be fairly recent upgrades. The breakfast was adequate. The internet connection was very good, and there were lots of electrical outlets. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

room had no smoke alarm, tub handle fell off when you turned on the shower, tub would not drain so taking mroe than one shower in a row you had to hurry or a flood would occur. fridge was so loud i had to turn it off to sleep...the only plus was that the bed and pillows were great...but after being up for almost 24 hours anything would feel like a cloud. i would not stay there ever again!!

Just didn't feel that safe here. Had major difficulty getting door to close and lock. Too thin walls, could hear everything going on in rooms next to us. Felt like I had really overpaid for what we got. If we hadn't been so tired, we would have driven on to Waco or Dallas. However, rooms were spotless and staff friendly.

Experience was overall good. Very little interaction with the hotel staff. Minor breakfast available. More options would have been better.

Room was as expected for the price. No problem checking in or out, rooms very clean, beds comfortable, good A/C.

I went to a funeral and realized that my granddaughter had forgotten her other shoes in the room. I went back just a few hours after checking out, and asked for the shoes. The maid had already left for the day (it was 1 PM) and she did NOT turn in the shoes, and the shoes were not in the room. Now that I'm back home in my city, i called the hotel and they haven't recovered them. They are $100 shoes! They will steal from you!

The staff of this hotel were super nice and made certain that the requests made in regard to the room were quickly filled. The hotel offers most everything you could want including free wireless that actually had a great connection and speed! Other hotels in the area apply a surcharge for any internet access at all, but not this one! Way to go Days Inn!!! The location of the hotel is super! Lots of great food and activities within a few miles and a mall within about 10 miles. Easy access both on and off the interstate as well. The rooms could use a little upgrading. Fresh paint and new floors in the bathrooms but that wasn't too bad really. Just needs a little TLC. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Temple, TX!
