This is a return to trip for us to Kiev and we always enjoy ourselves here, but the stay at Khreschatyk Hotel added to the enjoyment. Everything here is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, Wi-Fi is fast and stable, the rooms all have A/C, breakfast is delicious and not to be missed. The hotel is in a prime location on Khreschatyk street, 150 meters from the Maidan Nezalezhnosti square and metro stop. The hotel coordinates a Taxi service to Boryspil International Airport, 500 UAH fixed, you pay the driver. The hotel has two restaurants, but we only enjoyed meals at the Khreschatyk Hotel restaurant, but every meal we had was delicious. The staff there works very hard, friendly and attentive; one staff member in particular was Ivan. Very nice young man, he always remembered us, which in a hotel this size is nice. We had been on the road for 15 days when we arrived in Kiev by night train and the Khreschatyk Hotel was definitely a good way to close it out. Great place.

I stayed at the Khreschatyk in April for 5 nights and loved it! The staff where polite and helped with any questions I had. They also where very patient when I tried, badly, to speak Ukrainian! The facilities at the hotel are fantastic. Breakfast was nice with a good choice available and the restaurant was great. My room was awesome with the most comfortable bed ever! The shower was fantastic and the bathroom even has controls for the tv so you can hear it in the shower! This a great location in Kiev right in the centre. I attended the Dynamo Kiev Shakhtar Donetsk game and it was a pleasant 15 minute walk to the Olympic stadium. I would love to comeback one day, I totally fell in love with Kiev! Thank you for having me!

This hotel is the best location. Right outside is an outdoor cafe, which is part of the hotel. It's nice because you can charge it to your room and enjoy the great atmosphere. On Sunday Khreschatyk street is closed and open to pedestrians. The train station is about a 20 min walk. It's a shady area so be careful. Overall the hotel was great. Breakfast was great also, however it took forever to get a coffee. The pool/sauna is nice but only open from 8am- 1 or 2pm. And it's downstairs .... off location. Teri from Tampa Fl

I spent three nights here, the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but the room was nice and luxurious especially the bathroom with the rain shower. The outside looks a bit Stalinish, but the inside is nicely updates. Service was good, I got a fantastic haircut (it's been an issue here in eastern Europe). I would complain a bit about taxi/car service. The guy met me at the airport just fine, but he was practically sprinting to the car. When they called me a cab the next morning, that cost was twice the return cost with a cab hailed on the street. Breakfast was another $10 or so, it was pretty decent, although the dining room was a bit warm. I had two evening meals there, again good, just some communication issues that resulted in my receipt of a gin with sparking water instead of the requested gin and tonic and then a sparkling water... Pay attention to the tiny, one-person, dictator balconies on the rooms facing the street. Also funny that in the lobby, between the desk and lifts, they have a stylized oil painting of the outside that makes it way more attractive than in reality. I'll add that even though I was on the street, it was a quiet room.

Very nice hotel with a good location. Room is nice and clean. Friendly staff. The bed was OK but a bit hard. We had to pay extra for the breakfast, but it was great but expensive. I recommend it! Close to Metro etc.

Really great stay at this hotel. Very good reception when we arrived, we arrived quite late in the evening. The room that we were allocated was very nice, one of the re furbished ones however we had to request a move the following day as there was bit of a thumping sound during the night from the club next door. The request was handled very professionally and with no drama. The breakfast was a bit small in terms of options but the service was excellent, that said I could not fault any of the staff that we came into contact with. Really nice stay made even better with the great staff there. If you are going to Kyiv for the first time I would highly recommend this hotel.

I booked in here with my son for a 4 day sightseeing stay. The superior rooms overlook the rear and only the deluxe rooms and suites have a view of the street. For that I knock off one star but overall we had a very good experience. Concierge was excellent. Made dinner reservations and got us last minute tickets for Swan Lake. Food and drink is reasonable but there are ample breakfast and dinner places within 5 minutes walk. Would stay here again next time.

Stayed for 5 days during Eurovsion. And booked a larger room. One up from the standard room facing the Square. Was modern and spacious I guess Akin to a smaller Marriot and perfectly adequate. Excellent concierge with food English, food with English and helped with arranging guides and directions. Good size pool. Communal bar areas a little undersized and service there a little brush but hey the doorman takes all luggage to your room and to taxi when leave. Very central and would stay again. Allow 3 whole days for site seeing ...dont forget to book a tour of the ex presidents palace out of town with a guide. The restaurant adequate but limited choice. Breakfast fine. Ask dor omelette they cook it fresh.

i stayed at this hotel during last week. My first booking was for 2 nights in a Prestige room (414) and for the remaining stay (7 nights) i stayed in Room 229 check in way quick, we were welcomed by an amazing lady named Marija , she was super welcoming ,smiley, but one thing Ms Marija did wrong was when at check in, i told her that i have 2 bookings under my name, would it be possible to stay in same room so that we dont have to keep on moving especially that we are staying 9 nights!! she said yeah OK no problem i see both bookings and both are same category, you keep room.. our room was on the 4th floor, we go in the room, leave our bags and go out .. when we were back at night we realized that the room had no view and second it looked into an inside court which had all engines from hotels air conditioning system!! it was super loud, and super uncomfortable...we go down to reception and we were told we are fully booked . anyways we said ok, we will try and tolerate the sound. the room (aka Prestige room) was red, black and golden in color, spacious enough, comfortable bed, pillows, heated bathroom floor, a standing shower. Sunday morning after breakfast i get a call from the reception, that i need to check out, when i told the lady that i have 7 more nights through another booking , and that Ms. Marija said i can keep the room , the other lady (named Katya) said no i cannot stay in same room as my other booking was for a standard double and not a prestige double.. to cut a story short, i asked how much would be the difference between prestige and standard (since i really didnt wanna pack and unpack) heheheh the difference was US$900,, OH MY GOD, for real? i paid for the 7 nights 800US$ and they wanted for the difference between rooms US$900? are you real miss? anyways i decided to take a look at the standard room, since believe me the prestige room was not worth the 900$ difference. to my surprise the standard room was much much nicer than the prestuge one, heheh bigger in size, room colours grey beige white, bath tub.. view into an inside yard, but no air conditioning sounds hahaha, so the downgrade was an upgrade for me hehehe,, room 229 was very comfortable, and cozy. Breakfast at hotel was superb, very tasty, wonderful options to chose from.. coffee, juices, fruit, eggs, cheeses etc ,, all delicious and tasty. room service was amazing, delicious food, and took only 20 minutes to be in room, very cheap too i would certainly recommend this hotel.. the location was superb, cost was superb

Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel. The hotel and the rooms are very nice and of the same standard as most 5 star hotels in Europe. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. Our only concern was that on the second morning my female friend who was occupying a single room was disturbed by a male member of staff entering her room without knocking. Worryingly the door had been locked on the inside however he was still able to gain access. It didn't spoil our overall enjoyment however it was something that we felt shouldn't have happened. The hotel is in a great location and all the main attractions and the Metro are extremely close by. Breakfast was average and expensive for Ukraine. I would stay at this hotel again.
